It has something to do with something in my account i have had since beta - i checked with Customer Care the last badge i got when i saw the date for the 60 month and they confirmed it was a correct date for whatever reason, i know there are a few betas left out there that even get the badges before i do - was hoping one of them might have gotten it already.
What time of day did you originally activate your account? I originally created in the late evening, and my veteran badges are always awarded around that same time of day. Maybe they are connected. Maybe they aren't, but that's always been my assumption.

For whatever reason, the date on my account has shifted up. I originally started playing on the May 6th, 2004. But I received my 57 month badge on Jan 25th, 2009. And I'll be getting my 60 month badge on April 29th, still a full week early.

This is inconsistant with my own expierences and probably should not be expected. I too was in beta, played in the pre launch head start, and have never let my account lapse.
I'm still not scheduled to get my 60 month vet reward until April 29.

That may be true, but it's still a bug. If it weren't, all beta accounts would get their vet rewards early, and they don't. I know they don't because this account is a beta one, and even before I took my 4 months off, my rewards were based around having activated the day the game came out, April 28th 2004.

Yes, but last year they made the announcement with the Anniversary announcement and the creation of the calendars. We knew the next two 2XP dates just from the calendars alone.

Oh, of course. But in the grand scheme of things, two days doesn't matter to me. I've seen folks grump about not receiving at the very second they expected it. I'd probably draw the line for myself at about a month or so overdue. To each their own.

Ok i am fine with waiting - my main point was really to see if anyone else had gotten it - and it seems other people who normally get it before me are in the same boat so i will wait. Its just i have been working on the major character overhauls in my build programs and plan on redoing 64 alts to get rid of that stupid precurser to travel power - my bases are overflowing with IO that i have been getting off the market for the rebuilds - I am just anxious to get started on it since even with my best planning its going to take a while to complete.

I was supposed to get mine two days ago. This is based on my NCSoft account showing that it was created on May 15, 2004, and my recollection that I played CoH for the first time on a Saturday (which May 15th was in 2004.)
Now it's May 17th, and still no 5-year Veteran badge for me! Even if I'm not remembering correctly, and I actually starting playing the game on Sunday the 16th, that's still earlier than, you know, May 17th.
For now, I'm going to write it off as the badge just doesn't kick in on a weekend (although, the 15th was a Friday,) and I'll have my badge after tomorrow's Monday Maintenance. If I don't have it after that, then complaints will be submitted. Full travel power at Lvl 6 is too good to not raise a ruckus about!

Hmm. I am due for 60 in about a month.
Do you really have that many you want to remove the precursor on?
I thought so at first... But after looking at many of my alts, I find I am still going to want those in, CJ for the defense, Hasten for faster recharge etc.
I don't think I am going to want it on my higher alts very often.
Where I do think it will come in handy, will be on my lowbies... The ability to take the travel power earlier will be nice. But skipping the precursor, altogether? Not so much, for me.

I created my account on April the 18th 2004, but didn't appear to qualify for my 60mnth badge until May 7th 2009 and I got it on that day. What the 'rules' are for vet rewards seem to be anybody's guess. Some get theirs on the day they created their account others have to wait - it looks like me and thee are the latter.

I never canceled the account. Unless there was some hiccup that got resolved and then forgotten, my account has been active non-stop since May 15, 2004.
Where would I find my vet reward date?
I have verified that my account has been paid for another month, as of today. No vet reward yet, though.
Bear in mind, also, that there's fluctuation of a few days or so in the actual numerical date, due to the pay periods being 30 days, and not every month being thirty days' long.
(For example, my most recent stretch of vet award dates fall on the 8th, 6th, 6th, 7th, and 10th of their respective months.)
Ok so based on my NCsoft account today is the day i was suppose to get my 5 year badge - yet it hasn't been given and my petition to Customer Support is still pending - now i know there are other people who were set to receive this badge even before me, has anyone gotten it yet?
