I missed out on badges from the most recent winter and spring events. I was taking a break during those months. But this was a game I would always come back to. I figured the holiday events would roll around again with new badges as well as the ones I missed, so I never worried about it to much.
Sad times indeed. I'm gonna miss this this game and all my friends and fellow badges who got me this far. -
There's a thread over in the beta forums here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=294433
compiling the badges found so far. -

I play on Virtue so I figured it was time I rolled up the obligatory cat girl.

Time off approved. Check.
Badge got. Check.
Yep, I'll be there. -
Quote:My thoughts exactly.I'm glad you reconsidered the 1-time, 3-hour, Freedom-only badge. I'm pretty shocked that it was ever considered, given the server performance issues and the tiny, tiny window of opportunity for a badge.
Next to Visual Sounds, this announcement had the makings of the best April Fool's post ever.
Except for the part about it being serious. -
Grats.
Still Need Gota Keep 'Em Seperated myself. Every trial I've run with so far always pulls them to the tennis courts. Noone wants to even attempt it. -

Issue 20 now allows all 6 respec to be earned.
Can anyone confirm if a vigilante can earn the villain respec badges or must a full alignment switch to villain be made? -

You can check out some of the voice casting here:

Quote:Exploits. So i guess really what I'm asking is this... Is RP the only reason why you cant pvp from both sides as a vigi or rogue?
Pvp zones are set up with "safe" areas on either side. Villians cannot enter hero bases without getting zapped by the drones. Vice versa for heroes entering villain bases.
If vigilantes could attack heroes there would be no safe spots.. -
Turns out the answer to this question is "yes"
Moving around with /sync bound to forward movement makes my character more jittery than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
Had to settle for binding it to another key instead.
I have not. Not sure it would help really. Its an odd bug it only affects this one character on my account.. Just happened to be the one I play the most :/ -
So, I'm apparantly one of the few lucky ones still living with the "sync bug" on my main character.
For those that are unfamiliar with it, every single time that character logs in or zones it takes about 10 seconds to sync up. So I'll start to move across the zone, 10 seconds later, poof, I'm back at the spot I zoned in. This happens Every. Single. Time I zone.
The /sync command fixes this.
However typing /sync or clicking on a macro has become too invasive. The alternative (waiting 10 seconds) is equally annoying.
What I would like is a non invasive fix to this problem.
If I could bind the /sync command to my forward moving key (or any movement key really) this would be awesome.
If this is possible, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't you read the badge text?
It's where Schwartz hosts cocktail parties. -
See that up arrow right above your sprint icon? you can click that a couple times to open two more trays. you can also click the plus (+) icon to open even more.
If hover doesn't appear in one of those trays, you can drag it from the powers menu that you have open in that pic into an open slot. -
Quote:Same for me. No badge pop up message for this one. I'd been running badge missions all day with HeroStats running to track the new badges. Without the popup the badge didn't register. Was going to post this yesterday but work got in the way. The same thing happened to me. I didn't log out though. What happened was that I never got the Badge Earned pop-up. So I checked the location where it should be and there it was.
Checked the most recent tab and there it was.. -
The closest thing I can think of to what you are describing are the alignment badges. There are badges you can obtain by completing a morality mission for an alignment and staying that alignment for 7 days.
You will not lose these badges if you switch sides again. -
Update:
I never did get a progress bar for any of them, but the one for defeating vehicles just awarded.
Here's to hoping the others work the same way. -
So, as a vigilante, I am not seeing progress bars for defeating PPD, vehicles, vault doors, heroes, or arsons.
Will these badges still award as a vigilante or must a full switch to villain be made?
