I think that picture was made by someone pigg diving and then manipulating the costume in a demorecord. So it's possible we don't have access to that option in the main game.

Hmm, I want to buy the AE box, which comes with the free month AND the code for the Magic pack (or Cyborg, but I already have that). Am I missing where this is available? I'm completely dense and blind at times.
Or is the box not out yet? Online that is...or is it ONLY in stores?

Yeah, but I want the box, it comes with a "free" month (i.e. $15 worth) and then you get the code for $5. Did that with the Mac pack and it was a good deal.
I see in the other thread people wondering the same thing. Hmm, I'll check physical stores here tomorrow. I'm probably the only player around here, lol.

Sounds like a very painstaking task. I only hope NCSoft learned a valuable lesson from this the next time a booster goes live on the store and not enough servers to handle the load.

I bought the game and can't enter the smegging code on my account management page. I've gotten as far as trying to apply the code to a account only to be greeted by the Page Load Error message.
Why must you mock me Page Load Error!!
6:45 PST and the new NC Soft store is still gimped. Frustrating when one is *trying* to throw one's money away!
How can we enter numbers and letters in an image that doesn't exist?

Tried three times to get this thing. Very disappointed that I couldn't. Giving up for tonight. Hoping I didn't get charged once or twice with no code.
Next time, allow people to pre-purchase the code so you don't have this problem. This is a major screw-up on NCSoft's part.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

I was able to throw my money away at gamestop 4 hours ago and still cant collect whats mine...
Okay, my credit card has been charged three times but I have yet to see a serial code in the serial code window to apply to my account.
I want to give you my money, Paragon Studios, but I also want to be able to use what I paid for!
Ok thats it, I'm fed up. I wont be buying the next pack no matter how sweet it is.
Who am I kidding, I'll be the first in line.
Not normally one to fuel negativity but, I give up... 6 hours is far too much time to spend just trying to spend money...
i don't even want to play the game now... soooooo disappointing (and that's a HUGE understatement)
Oh well. After about 40 minutes of unimaginable lag I managed to purchase a code for my wife's account. Four times, apparently. I applied one, sent an email to support, and tried to get mine.
After two hours I get:

Double check your Paypal account and see if it got billed. Mine choked coming back to NC... er, para... whoever's store it is this week, but did have the code ready to apply.
I can't even TELL if I've bought one or not. The system's so borked.
When the thing says "Your browser window has timed out, try again" did it go through or not?!?!?!

The issue here is that you have to go to your account page and see if you have any unapplied codes- be advised you will have a few to begin with....so best to check them and see if any of them are the magic pack.

Real disappointed that after 6 hours the NCSoft store is still timing out on account management. On the plus side, nice to see the game can still generate this amount of interest 5 years in!
