Put an Architect Terminal in the Pocket D

Not to mention that it's in a raid zone that regularly fills up on raid nights.

So go to RWZ 2 then...

/sign, both for for SG base terminals and a Pocket D AE building.
Think about it, it'd be so cool if the AE building itself was separate from the D proper and just floated on a rock outside the D that players jump over to on a Gravity Geyser!
Also, I wouldn't mind the War Zone AE building if the terminals and stuff were at least PART OF THE VANGUARD COMPOUND and not out in the open like that.

I can't tell if you were being serious or not, but I think it DOES fit into the pocket D better then the RWZ :P I'm all for R&R but in a live fire zone? :P There's GOT to be an explaination coming on why it's there in issue 15/16

The D would be nicer, since you can relax there a bit more, if you sit in the PROPER areas and not where, stuff happens >.>

Though if you were being sarcastic, nevermind what I just said. >

No to terminals.

YES to a building the floats like the chalet!

A game is not supposed to be some kind of... place where people enjoy themselves!

Plus it FITS the D better than it fits the RWZ, don't ya think?

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed 100%. I was just thinking last night that they really went overboard with the AE buildings when they decided to put one in almost every city zone. I was expecting maybe 3 blueside, 2 redside. Put them in the less crowded zones to disperse the population a little. And I was just baffled when I saw one in the RWZ. It just doesn't make a lick of sense from a story standpoint. Obviously Cimerora would make even less sense, and putting them in PVP zones would be problematic. Pocket D is the only cross-faction zone where it would feel "right."

Big fan of this, make it so!

Also a big fan of this, although I would point out that cimerorra would work...provided the AE facility there is given an entirely different look and theme. Magic based and more classical. Kinda like those commercials..car-x I think.

Posted

Um...Cimerora would not work. Cimerora is (whatever large number) of years in the past. Before computers, before electricity. In no way, shape, or form, should AE ever be placed in Cimerora unless the zone gets a modern-day makeover.

Exactly...thats why I suggested a MAGIC based AE location for cimerora. It is back in time but that doesn't mean such a facility couldn't run off crystals and stone circles

Or it could run off of whatever it is that powers the Romans' cellphones.

I would prefer AE terminals in the D myself just for more opportunities for low level cooperative missions, as per the original post's suggestion and reason.

I have a lot of low level heroes working the Rogue Isles who would love to be able to team up with their low level associates from Paragon City.

RWZ could rationalize it as AE providing Vanguard a holo-training service.

I'd like to see a terminal in ALL locations...using whatever rationalization is neccesary...including pocket d. More importantly I'd like to be able to access the same arc from another city zone....I went to another zone to hit a store and wentworth's and found out you can't pick up an arc in another city zone although if I remember right the holographic contact did follow me....the mission teleporter did not .

But anyway I'm in favor of adding AE to pocket D, giving it a vanguard connection in RNZ, and giving it the appropriate "Look/feel/excuse" to work in cim..."Its the midnighters they found a way to connect it using crystals in a roman looking structure the locals beleve to be haunted. Instead of terminals you use circles of stones, crystals, pools of water, etc. For that matter ouroboros and midnighters club could have terminals also

Admitedly that one might be a bit challenging but sure the rational could be a partnership between portal corps and AE to allow you training even there. Subsection of the occasinal "Safe zone" they set up to keep lag away.

Exactly! That makes sense! But what doesn't make sense is that IT'S ALL THE WAY THE HELL OUT THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BATTLE FIELD.

So... Maybe we could move inside the compound, maybe?

Too close to sellers and difficulty sliders. In order to keep your players from just rinsing and repeating too harshly you want to keep most AE facilities away from a location to easily sell, turn the diff up or down, or tailor.

I agree the RWZ is..just so wrong for it, but it's there for a reason, the devs either threw a DART, it's there for RP purposes later, or it's the only place they decided was easy to make Co-Op.

Nothing's set in stone either, remember we LOST the Croatoa building cuz too many people said it broke immersion (in a zone that has a twenty story pumpkin and a loch ness monster :P)

Just my thoughts,

Good. i hope we LOSE a few more of them. There's too damn many of them. They're like Starbucks. I doubt anyone has ever been running missions in Croatoa and said, "Damn, I really want to run some MA arcs but alas, the tram is SO far away! Curse you, devs, for taking away the invaluable Croatoa AE building!!!"

You other servers can just get use to the catgirl noises like those of us on Virtue. After a while they just fade into the background. You'll hardly even know they're there. Just watch where you step.

Access to AE in Pocket D would also give them a chance to test out what side-switching would be like as well.

I would love to see a AE terminal in pocket "D" as well that way even the lower lvls can play together. wouldn't have to revamp the pocket much either they could use one of the portals for the entrance.

If your gonna play follow the leader just make sure the leader is taking you where you want to go.
