Those "seemingly trivial occurrences" most often have much larger reasons behind them that the ones fired have no idea about.

Considering that it's my job to investigate these claims, I'd say I have a pretty good idea what I'm talking about.

Best Example: I had a guy working for a defense contractor (that will go unnamed) who was fired because he didn't ask his boss for permission to go to lunch. You'd think there would be something deeper to this, right? Nope. The boss was just a [censored], yet well within his rights to do what he did.

There isn't always a larger reason. Sometimes you get fired because your boss has a petty personality conflict... or you're just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

What does any of this have to do with this thread?

Lighthouse, this is a time when the motto of my command is most relevant:

May the rocky road ahead take you to a wonderful destination.

Bye Lighthouse, best of luck.

On an unrelated note I have real bad gas tonight. I hope I didn't accidentally poop in my pants.

awwwwww.
Though I never knew you directly, It still feels like I'm losing a close bud. You were a great rep, always constructive and polite, and You will be sorely missed. Thanks for helped bridge some of the communication gaps, keeping us informed, and being overall a joy to have around.

Here's hoping a great guy like you finds greater joys in future endeavors.

LH, you were one of the few red names that seemed to have some social grace. Too bad you're leaving...I hope it was your decision but it doesn't seem like it was. That's too bad.

This is distressing news indeed!

You'll be missed, LH.

I don't think LH would continue to play the game if he got let go or even post at all. I think he's leaving on good terms.

But go ahead and speculate, generalize, bash and argue. It's what the forums are all about.

I'm very sorry to see you go Lighthouse. I had the pleasure of meeting you IRL three times and you always were a very classy, very genuine guy.

May our paths cross again some day...

Happily puts it on his head. States that no former employee is going to post as a redname. Fired/Quit or carried out on a stretcher nobody speaks as a company rep unless they are one. He isn't.

That isn't Lighthouse.
