I know it'll diminish my contribution to "City Of" by $15 bucks, but I gotta say 'THANK YOU' for continuing to contribute to my Alt-itis and helping consolidating my Vet rewards onto one account.

I got 11 free between my two accounts and purchased 10 more. The purcahses went through quickly and no problems placing any of em.
My only problem is they are all full of new toons now, but I think thats my fault.

I got an error saying it couldn't connect to the billing server.
Bought 5 for myself and 5 for my wifes account.
Lucnhtime the purchase took a while and didn't eventually through.
Tried again this evening with no issues.
Thanks for this option.
And curses for giving me worse altitis. I may never hit 50 again.

Ok when your logged on and looking at the character select screen. The very bottom slot should either have a dollar sign in it or an arrow. If it is an arrow then you have unassigned slots and can assign them by clicking on that slot. If it is a dollar sign then you need to click on the big dollar sign on the right side of the screen to buy more slots.

If the options for free slots or purchased slots that you haven't used yet is showing up that is due to the internal server connection.
We are looking at this system right now and pushing to bolster, under normal circumstances it will be fine, considering everyone is getting new slots today it's being a tad over worked right now.

In other words, they need to start whipping the hamsters with a wet noodle. Either that, or hook up the midgets on the stationary bikes to a flux capacitor.
Seriously, I can't say enough about how happy the new slots make me. A cornucopia of TY's would be entirely insufficient.

I went to redeem a free slot, I got the unable to server error and now I no longer have the redeem slots icon at the bottom of the server pages. I know it is a known bug, but it is an odd one.

Gah! Earlier, I redeemed my 3 free slots. I couldn't connect to the server to purchase more. Then, I created a VEAT in one of my new free slots and played him for awhile.
Now, I don't get the option to purchase more, and worse, my two unused (but redeemed) free slots aren't showing either! Waaaaah!
This is odd, and i can't really complain, but...
There was a delay and then the character slots option popped up with 5 free slots available.
i clicked to redeem one and it suddenly showed me as having 10 free slots.
i clicked to add another and now it's showing 9 free slots left.
Very odd.
Just looked again after typing the above post and it shows me as having 13 free slots.
Apparently it added four more on its own while i was typing here.

I redeemed all six of my new character slots on my home server Freedom. I used four, and then logged in my L50 Villain so I could roll a VEAT. After I logged out my L50 Villain, I logged back into my account to find my two remaining new character slots gone!
Has this or something similar happened to anyone else?

Um, I think I just unintentionally bought $60 worth of additional slots.
I logged in, didn't see any options to create a new character. So I then clicked on the $ on the lower right to see if that was functional. It popped up with all the purchase choices, but they were all grayed out. I clicked anyway on the "5 Character Slots" option (more than once I believe), however I did NOT click on the "Buy" button, nor did I get *any* sort of purchase confirmation dialog. A few seconds later I got a "Redeem Slot: 15 left" option at the bottom of my character listing.
I've checked my account details since, but haven't seen any additional charges. So am I overreacting? I've been here for four years, so maybe I'm supposed to get 15 additional slots for free??

Did a quick check earlier today. Had the two, plus one for being over a year playing, showing. Managed to get those slotted to three different servers (two of which were full, thanks for getting that bug fixed...) without any real trouble. I'll have to set some cash aside to slot up a few more.

i received 15 (10 unexplained) slots as well. Never clicked on a buy button, when i first logged in there wasn't even a button to click. (See earlier post.)

I just clicked on the large dollar sign on the right side of the screen and see these prices.
1 slot - $5.99
2 slots - $9.99
5 slots - $19.99
I bought the 5 slots earlier today and also paid a dollar something in tax as well, but I'm in California.

Question regarding these two "limited time" free slots in comparison to the free slots given as veteran rewards. If I claim one of these available three slots, which am I using first - the "limited time" ones or the "veteran" ones?
I ask because I have an idea what servers I'll put two of them on, but I don't yet have an idea where I want to put the third. I'm hoping that I'll be able to place the "use-it-or-lose-it" ones first and save the veteran slots for when I know where I want them to go.
