Is it just me, or are there NOT enough melee powers for a Mental Manipulation?

Energy Aura Stalkers have *always* been able to do this.

OH I missed that >.>......Though i am no fan of the EA set. It lacks something imo and I can't figure out what it is. Its nice on the eyes, but I can not keep one past lvl 12

It seems like quite a few power sets on that list are real head-scratchers. And there's no real verification about where that list came from. I think I'll wait until gamezone puts up their version of what's to come; at least we know that they're getting info from the source.

So they copied and pasted yesterdays article from Gamezone. That doesn't tell us anything. Until I see Redname Confirmation, I'm assuming this "TVG Exclusive" is a hoax.

I checked the Dom set, 4 melee or pbAoE powers, plus one new power still leaves us 4 powers short.

What it lacks is any mitigation whatsoever other than typed defense, outside of Overload anyway 
I suppose you could count Repel but.. thats such a goofy power for a Stalker anyway.

It sounds like a good first step in power proliferation to me. I hope that the next few issues continue with more PP.

Well what d'ya know? TVG there must be the ones who get to put this out in the UK. And we've seen things come out on the UK site before the American site before.

the article said something about it having controls, too... so I figure there will be an immob power, maybe a sleep power, and then some sort of single target hold as well.

I just checked the UK site, and TVG is listed on the main page as their link to yesterday's article. So we probably can take the list as being legit. That said, there are still some head scratchers, like Dark Melee/Armor for Tanks, and Electric Melee/Armor for Stalkers.

I'm happy about the new powersets. Of course, I'm still puzzled by some of the choices but that doesn't keep me from enjoying them.

Please keep in mind that this list is just the beginning. There will be more sets ported/morphed in the coming issues. If you don't see what you want, don't despair. (Unless it's Ice Melee for Brutes...then you'll be waiting for a loooong time).
Also keep in mind that we haven't seen exactly what powers are in each of the "new" sets, or in what order they appear, or numbers...etc. Don't let yourselves be underwhelmed until you test it.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
I think it's probably legit but the whole commentary on power set choices is totally lame and annoying.
