That's not at all the way I read BaB's post.
The blaster secondary is getting a new power in their secondary... not a new set of powers.
That's 1 (one) new power from an [u]existing set[u] (is how I read it anyways.)
This is going to be the same for other ATs, like the stalker primary, since no other sets have AS or placate, and no other set has hide.
Some sets will clearly have to be somewhat tweaked.

They've made some sort of deal with gamezone.
It's not up to them, it's now up to gamezone to decide what time they update their site.
The longer they wait, the more hits they generate from people refreshing for updates. Don't hold your breath, it'll be late afternoon at the earliest.
Marketing wants you to check that site over and over again to generate hits (and therefore income.)
NCsoft gets no money from people frantically refreshing these boards.

"the" blaster secondary kinda suggests that there's going to be one secondary, as in singular, which further implies that it's going to be a new powerset fitted with powers from existing powersets, with one new power.

heh, which is why I will wait until later to check that page. I will log in and prolly do a TF or something which will take about 3 hours or so just to pass time. Then I will check the page after I eat lunch and run some errands. That should take 4+ hours.

'The' blaster secondary means the one blaster secondary set that is getting ported. It's getting one new power.
Clear as day to me...
My guess is blasters are getting a secondary set that has "tuant" as a power, which doesn't make sense for blasters. So that one power got replaced with a new power. It'll be either stone or dark melee.
Ok, then is now or something like that.

Actually, I see that BAB said "a completely new power" not a "completely new powerset" for the secondary. However people interpret things in their on way. I get this info as well from the post. now you could not argue if he said "completely new powerset"

In the end, most powersets ended up being straight ports. Others required tinting the effects from hero to villain (or vice versa). Stalkers needed an Assasin's Strike. Dominators ended up getting a mix of powers from a melee set and a ranged set and the Blaster secondary ended up with a completely new power.

Yeah from that it does sound like singular power new, not whole powerset new. Which is what the stalker's get with new AS too. And I guess Doms are actually getting the best deal of a totally new powerset made up of powers from other sets. Still, some semi-new things.
And still the excitement of which tank primary and scrapper secondary set is coming, enough to keep me interested.

Blaster: Psi/Psi Manipulation (port from Dominator Psi assault)
Brute: Axe & Mace/Ice Armor I really want to say Regen for some reason :/
Stalker: BS/Electric
Dominator: Illusion/Electric Assault
Corruptor: Psi/Storm
Mastermind: Nothing/Sonic or empathy
Remember this is my stab at what I think to come. So hold your flames and/or explainations for reasons why you think this should or should not be. Not to mention this is something will make time go by.
