If it's the "Asian = spammer" argument, then I'm going to start getting worried if my Asian self will be inadvertantly caught in some future AoE.

I wouldn't be suprised if there was some sort of billing loophole present with these specific cards that the "spammers" were using to create accounts that they used to create Trial accounts or something of that nature. However, I doubt NCsoft is going to give us an in-depth explanation as to why. That's their business.
