Current list of things that have more than 2 or more votes. Some of it's in shorthand, but it should be understandable. OAS Issues includes both decreasing the range of OAS and the ability to spawn camp OAS people. Hero-Villain Balance includes irresistables and APP issues.

Make Break Frees break and resist Cage.

Maybe even have Cage check against Hold resistance on players.

Cap purple inspiration stacking.

I'm still in the "use oranges to resist Cage" camp. Having Cage check hold resistance would still suck for Vills considering Siren's Call.

In Order...

1. Cross-Server PvP
2. Selectable Maps

4. Obviously you can't have a perfect duel system, but asking for most obvious fixes isn't unreasonable IMO.
4a: Ice Tanks - fix slow res, cap slow res, suppress self phases?
4b: Stalkers - mostly fine, just up the perception cap a bit cuz if I'm willing to pop 2-4 yellows along with tactics and a perc IO, I better see something.
4c: TK - for god's sake you dont have to nerf the crap out of it, just hurry up n' tone it down some.
4d: Not near as big an issue as the rest but...maybe we could change something so...Radiation doesn't win all the tourneys?
5. PvP/PvE builds
6. Remove System Matches
7. Inspiration Tier
8. Don't see this one but...exemp'ing and keeping accolades and set bonuses? (at least from the powers you had by the exemp'd level)
9. PvP Tutorial - As long as it opens with something like "if you dislike inspirations, we're sending you to a forced labor camp"

Get things tidied up, with Issue 11 out the door, the focus here has now shifted...

For things like Cross-server PVP, listing this at this point where there is no technology to support (See Character Transfers Announcement) will simply un-prioritize something that current tech can support.

My Suggestion:

I'd scratch that and focus on stuff you know can be worked into an update in the next 6 months or so.

Basically, keep your list reasonable, and place the things you know will take additional time into your "Wish List" category.

I'd still prefer we keep it on the record, it isn't some seldom asked for trifle. Understood that it isn't on the Soon™ List, but it is in our hearts and minds which would make the game excel under consensus.

I mean, they've essentially announced that the future of the game is a serverless enviornment and that they're working on the tech for it.

There's going to be an introduction to the list. How would people feel about mentioning the serverless system there and saying that it would make the top of the list if we didn't know they were already planning on it? That way we don't waste a top ten spot, but still let them know that we really, REALLY want cross-server PvP.

Accolades while exemping is on the main list, but not on the mini list because it hasn't gotten any votes so far. Get a few more people to vote for it and hopefully it can make the short list.

I would vote for #1 a thousand times in lieu of anything else. If that's not possible, I would support any action taken to help make the level/loot grind less imposing on the one segment of the player population who is least likely to enjoy it.

If there's one thing that will drive me away from this game, it's the contstant addition of forced grinding under the guise of "content". Loot is only "optional" for non PvPers, please make it suck less for us to get it.

Patron powers sucking is not the core of the hero v vil balance problem. The issue is how the team pvp environment has completley changed and evolved since the "balance" and sets were designed. But nothing since then has been done to account for the change.

At a glance its pretty easy to see the biggest issue being that vils were balanced around buffs (especially resistance) to make up for weaker heals (cauterize, cauterize, and cauterize). The use of defender -res, psi damage, and reliance on blasters has taken the balance that was designed in cov beta and threw it infront of a speeding school bus.



Tldr version :

Patron powers arent why villains suck, its cause they havent been balanced to the changes in team pvp in the last 2 years.

More people vote for this. A lot of players are really solo-oriented and thus unlikely to get the mentoring they need, and let's face it, most people need help to make the transition from PVE to PVP.
