Theme/Concept: Arachnos The Wraith Spiders are the elite Arachnos unit dedicated to serving and protecting Ghost Widow.
Activity: Very Active out of our 70 current characters on the roster, 50+ are different players, and around 25 are consistantly active. We usually see anywhere from 10-15 people on on weekends, while during the week we usually see 7 or 8.
We mostly play EST/EDT, but have several players in other timezones.
Requirements for Membership: None, so long as your character serves/wants to serve Arachnos and Ghost Widow We are a military-styled SG, and saluting/respecting officers and commanders is required. While some backtalk is fine (and at times, encouraged), too much may get your character in trouble, and possibly kicked from the VG. This is NOT, however, an OOC issue, and you will not be removed from the global, nor the site, nor anything. If one of your chars is kicked, you are still free to retconn the actions that caused the kick (or write them off however you want), or bring a different char into the SG. We *never* take IC concerns OOC.

Currently Recruiting: Villains who wish to get on the ground level of a RP-oriented supergroup - mature people who can play IC and be fun!
RP Level: RP-heavy. SG chat is usually IC, but mistakes happen. Not against OOC chat as long as it's desginated.
Theme/Concept: Refuge is a home for villains who have no other home at it's lower levels, and higher up it becomes a self-supporting entity, a group of villains who can call on each other for allies and for schemes that are too grand for one or two to complete!
IC, Refuge is, on a more nefarious level, designed to support Iceciro and his machinations on a more grand scale. OOC however, the group itself exists to bring all players into RP situations and develop all characters in a fun and villainous way.
Activity: Active players, recruitment is by request now, while we get things set up.
Requirements for Membership: Once-weekly activity is required, as is engaging in RP of some sort. We are, after all, an RP-based VG.

We want to see if we can make one that functions but doesnt give free license to run wild under the "its all just Rp" flag. For example; playing two alts on different sides of a fight without anyones knowledge while using ooc information to complicate things isnt good Rp, its cruel and egotistical. Agreed-upon roleplaying details: because it's funnier that way (and so that the cheerleaders' pom-poms match with Energy Melee), the school colors are Coral and Gold (last row, 4th from the right and yellow, 4th from the right). The athletic department warm-up jacket is the Uniform Jacket (open or not) with Coral body and Gold sleeves and trim, with the letter "A" in Coral outlined in Gold. The school's athletic department official mascot is the Fighting Coralax; all athletic-department characters including cheerleaders, and all college sports fans, are encouraged to have the words "Go, Fighting Coralax!" somewhere in their character bio.

Theme/Concept: We are loners, drifters in space who have found our way to Earth. We are outsiders, survivalists, and opportunists looking for a place to anchor ourselves in the constant chaos that surrounds us. The Sisterhood is that anchor, our common ground, our refuge from the planet's laws, persecution and violence (or a nice secure place to stash our loot). When making a space vixen, good sources of inspiration can be taken from sci fi fem fatales from the Flash Gordon stories, anime, such as Esmeraldas, Faye Valentine, and the ladies from Outlaw Star, and from books, such as the Bene Gesserit and the Honored Matres from the Dune series. We also take in those looking for a place to belong and have taken in vampires, gangsters, monsters and even Earthling fem fatales if they can cut it. Comic supervillainesses are a good inspiration as well, such as Saturnyne, White Queen, Lady Mastermind, Mystique, Bomb Queen and other such "bad girl" comic characters.
Activity: Founded in Febuary 2006, activity is kinda low, spiking late at night. We have a weekly tf and a weekly meeting both on Sundays.
Requirements for Membership: Must have a female toon and a desire to have fun.

Other Details: The big thing about us is that nothing is Mandatory, not weekly meetings, not rping, just have fun anyway you want. Our atmosphere is friendly and low key. We have a MASSIVE base that will fit your every need and friendly leadership that is happy to help. One thing we are not is a cybor group, but we can be rather mature and adult oriented sometimes. Currently ranked in the top 100 on the Server and the highest ranked sisterhood on Virtue.

Currently Recruiting: Yes, and always looking for those interested in taking part in stories with us.
RP Level: High, but friendly to newbies, and willing to show them the ropes. SG chat is IC unless put in (()) we have an OOC channel, though its not mandatory.
Theme/Concept: Were an Anti-Hero Revolutionary group dedicated to taking down groups such as Arachnos, Crey, Longbow, Wyvern, Freedom Corp, and others. Eventual goal is the transformation of society into what we define as "Better".
Activity: Currently about 35-40 active players with alts and the few semi-active players. Most activity is toward the evening and weekends. Many members roleplay in the D, some avoid it at all costs.
Requirements for Membership: Basically you can't have it in for your fellow revolutionaries. Characters dedicated to committing terrible atrocities over and over again need not apply. We do boot those who become to troublesome for the group, but this is a rare thing.

Coalition(s): The Dread Aces: Information providing and team ups, though we'd like to work on some more cross-over stories with them.
The Fifth Remnant: Allied with Archon Dread and his individual soldiers, not the council proper. We engage in Heavy RP with this group and there always willing to team. Dread and Prentice are hilarious too.
Other Details: We have an OOC channel, its not Mandatory but helps to keep in contact and exchange ideas while on Alts and the like. We have a fully functioning base with AutoDoc, Teleporters, and now personal quarters as well. We have a weekly meeting every monday at 10:00pm EST if you can attend, where we exchange ideas OOC and IC wise and talk about things going on.
We now have a smaller somewhat informal "Paragon Branch" called "Inevitable Revolution" for those wishing to roleplay in Paragon with hero friends, or play Hero Alts who agree with I.E.'s goals, but aren't neccessarily wanted by the law just yet.

Theme/Concept: This organization was founded with the belief that Paragon City is no longer truly a government by the people and for the people but rather a city run by the might of heroes, not the rule of law. Fleeing to the Rogue Isles, disillusioned former heroes banded together to prove it... in flames if necessary.
What grew from these humble idealistic beginnings would eventually be known as the largest and wealthiest mercenary group to work the Rogue Isles and menace the "good" people of Paragon City. With a rank-and-file membership composed of thieves, murderers, vigilantes, anti-heroes, and every other criminal shade of grey that walks the Isles, the X-Patriots are commonly known as a ruthlessly efficient para-military outfit. Behind the scenes however, their true leadership still works towards that original goal, their wealth and their might focused on organized crime, corruption, and the downfall of the "City of Heroes".

Activity: Members are commonly on throughout the day, with peak activity during the evening hours of Eastern Standard Time.
Requirements for Membership: Members are expected to log on at least once per week unless notifying the leadership of an absence. 50k prestige and registration on our forums are required for promotion to soldier status and access to base storage. Further promotions based on merit. SG mode is appreciated, but optional. This is also a family-friendly group with policies accordingly.

Activity: On active nights I can bring to me at least a dozen Mountebanks (my name for a member). We have a roster of at least three dozen more.
Requirements for Membership: For roleplayers: Crazy in some sense, whether it be obsessive, bipolar or just plain nuts. For Non-ies, simply having a good attitude is enough. The most important rule is to simply say 'hi' to other Mountebanks.

The Asylum itself, it is a half-destroyed mental hospital located near Bloody Bay on Coalrock Island. Most recently it was used to incarcerate insane super-criminals, most notably the Gaslighter.
Before that is was a hospice for alienated people, run by a deranged doctor by the name of Van Boren. A misguided alienist, Van Boren devised several torturous machines meant to cure a person of their derangement. These devices caused more insanity than they cured.From time to time, detailed sketches and blueprints for these
infernal machines pop up.
Before that, Coalrock was rooted in folkloric legend about a traveling snake oil salesman who cured the miners of the settlement of their illnesses. It came not only at the cost of their money, but of their mortality. Coalrock fell into depravity and it was only the local preacher who rose and confronted the peddlar, in actuality a demon. Using a powerful artifact, the preacher fought the demon and beat him; or so he thought. The demon escaped in a puff of noxious smoke. The site of the battle was named Mountebank Rock and became the site over time for the Mountebank Asylum.
Fast forward to present times...
After a vicious battle in Bloody Bay, a villain named the Wisecracker took refuge in the Asylum's walls. He found comfort there, had found an affinity for the place. Something called out to the Wisecracker...
