1. Arghhh! I gotta use the glaringly ugly blue set up for the forums This hurts my eyes, to be honest guys, give me some options with the new forums when they come in, otherwise I doubt I will even spend time to read here much anymore.

That and... the Black Blood of the Earth. Man do I want to know what they are all about.

[/ QUOTE ]

Same here (and I'm guessing it could tie in with the binding of Bat'zul idea.)

I really want to know what Crey is up to at the Utopia Complex in Eden.

[/ QUOTE ]Actually, the Blood of the Black Stream (not Black Blood of the Earth, which is a salvage item) are supposedly some Egyptian enemy group. They have only been mentioned in game on villains by one person, Duke Madragor (sp?) a Hellion, and are mentioned in brief on the back of a CoH TCG character card. Can be found at Paragon Wiki under Blood of the Black Stream.

I would love them to be added, though. They are described as shape-shifting assassins, and I was hoping they would be the villain EAT, but, oh well. Always the future of EATs if more ever get added.
3. <QR>

Things I would like to see added to the list;

<ul type="square">[*]Recluse and Statesman finding the Well of Furies.[*]The meteorite crash in Bloody Bay and the first Shivan Invasion there[*]Marshal Blitz revolt from Arachnos and threatening to fire the Warburg nukes at Paragon[*]Siren's Call explosion[*]Ms. Liberty causing the Oil Spill[*]Captain Mako taking out Scrapyard[*]Scirocco's fall[*]Carl Egon's assassination of the Cap governor and his 'execution' with Aeon's take-over[*]The levelling of Boomtown[*]Statesman's fight with Reichsman[*]Requiem's rise to power[*]Dr. Webb and all his antics
4. [ QUOTE ]
If heroes get more epic options then something will have to be done about villian patron limitations.

[/ QUOTE ]*sighs* This has already been answered. Villains will be able to respec out of their patron into another patron path in i13 according to Positron.

The first Rikti War.

[/ QUOTE ]

if i remember right that was an event they had in CoH beta before the game was released... unless that was just an invasion and not the whole war. i really dont remember what i had for dinner last night let alone what i was a part of in CoH beta 4 years ago hah

[/ QUOTE ]I was in that, it wasn't the same thing. It was basically a stress test, and the end of beta event (was told as an alternate universe that that CoH world was destroyed basically).

SPOILERS

[ QUOTE ]
Miss Yin, whom you may remember, has foreseen that the Rikti plan one last desperate gamble to stabilize the gateway between our world, that they might flood the full power of their armed forces through once more.

Miss Yin's precognitions have shown us that they will attempt to harness the power of the Hamidon, as it occurs in the Rogue Isles.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hamidon's power is being used to stabilise the gateway to the Rikti homeworld. The Riders were already "four of the Rikti's most fearsome warriors" (Lady Grey's mission briefing) before they came to Earth. I think your 'obvious' conclusion is wrong in this case.

[/ QUOTE ]do you honestly think that Hamidon's power was only being used for the Gateway? Do you really think that it's only coincidence that the Riders use abilities and powers that mimic the Hamidon? You would be turning a blind eye to neglect those facts whole cloth.
7. [ QUOTE ]
The Origin of the Rikti Horsemen: I find these characters fascinating, despite having only a small amount of information on them. That the Rikti fear these creatures suggests to me that the Rikti warmongers may be more desperate than we realise.

[/ QUOTE ]The Rikti Horsemen are quite obvious, actually. They are using Hamidons power, you fight Hamidon in the fourth mission with power sucking pylons around him. I think the conclusions can be drawn quite easily.

[ QUOTE ]
The Split of Marshall Blitz's Forces Away From Arachnos: The results of which are visible in Warburg.

[/ QUOTE ]This I would love to see, or have a strike force for villains against Blitz.

[ QUOTE ]
The Death of Statesman: Well, I can wish.

[/ QUOTE ]Mission arc, Time After Time, or do the LRSF &gt;_&gt;

9. Here is what I would like to see;

<ul type="square">[*]The event at Mercy Isle and that created Ghost Widow[*]The event that created the upsurge in St. Martial and destroyed the northern most part and northwestern most part of the island as well, along with the events that led up to the Hard Way.[*]The first Rikti War.[*]World War 2[*]The invasion of the 5th Column in the Rogue Isles
That's to name a few events that come to mind.

And now I must make yet another alt... wish server maintenance would hurry up.

[/ QUOTE ]What server maintenace? It's Tuesday.
11. [ QUOTE ]
Ahem... while it may not "speak volumes" why are there less subscibers now than a year ago? Especially given we players are getting such a "great deal" now from the new and improved NCNC. Just asking a legit question, not seeking a flame war.

[/ QUOTE ]Because new things come along, or players get tired of playing, or many other reasons. I'm sorry if you think that a game world's community is static. It's not. It's malleable, constantly changing. Citing WoW as some sort of biblical saint or what an MMO should be like is the silliest thing ever. WoW is a fluke in this game genre. For 6 years, really more, the MMO world's biggest crowd was Everquest. At best 500,000 subscribers, or there abouts in it's heyday. Most of hte successful MMOs were between 100k and 200k subscribers. WoW is a fluke, a freak of nature, it's not the norm for this genre, and there is many reasons to actually doubt the legitimacy of those numbers, especially considering the largest subscription base comes from Asia.

A baseball bat that shoots webs and lasers? How absurd.

[/ QUOTE ]Doesn't work that way.

You clearly run with teams (PUGs?) that don't whine when you try the tower strategy.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd whine. It's a ridiculous tactic to make an already simple AV even simpler through the use of an AI exploit.

[/ QUOTE ]I have to ask; why in the hell do you need a bloody tower strategy? It should take no more than 10 minutes to beat Imperious down and that's all four times. The tower strategy sounds like you are adding unnecesarry time to make an easy AV even easier.
14. I don't see the point in that at all, since that really prolongs the feeling of fight since you gotta turn around and kill 300 traitors to begin with.
15. [ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
Update - except most people [censored] about going to the tower and trying to pull him rather than killing everything. PUGs are making me angry.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd be one of them, and would probably be [censored] about noobs on my global channel. Killing everything &gt; silly wastes of time.

[/ QUOTE ]I am sick of people that tell me to skip tot he end or try to stealth to the end of strike forces. No, big whoop I might get a recipe worth a few mill. You are killing several mill infamy from me in sellable IO recipes and savlage that I can use to craft common IOs that others buy as well as salvage that can be sold. Been running into people that want to do that with every strike force I run lately, and it's been getting bloody annoying.

I ran it again last night. We had an ambush in the 1st mish of dwarfs and squids at the very end before we got sybil to the altar. Is this part of the new patch or a bug? Ive never seen it before and it was abit of a shocker cause Ive run this alot.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, it's intended.

[/ QUOTE ]Bout time they put that back in.
17. [ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
So, uh, if you didn't get the new patch that was recalled, does that mean you won't have to update when you try and log in?

[/ QUOTE ]

You won't have a patch when you log in next. It's just business as usual like any other day. Were testing something on the Training Room (see this post) and will let you all know what we plan to do moving forward once that plan is ready for public consumption.

[/ QUOTE ]I know it's unlikely but I still hope for today. couple of fixes in that patch I actually want live now.

I think that's missing the point - would it really be so hard to email people ingame in advance to notify of non-maintaince schedules? I don't think so.

[/ QUOTE ]And I doubt people would pay attention to it to begin with. I check my email almost every other day.

[/ QUOTE ]whether you doubt people would check or not is irrelavant - at least the information is there - and easy to access

[/ QUOTE ]It's easy to access on the forums. You can go view it now in announcements. In other words, mountain and molehill.

I did that and i still have a bug in my lvl 50 ice blaster, when i log in i dont see any baddies or contacts and i cant leave to another city, it wont let me on the train or take tunnels and i cant open doors to get in the buildings like the university, is this the bug they're fixing?

[/ QUOTE ]That's an out of synch error. Result of your client saying something and the server saying something different. The only way to fix that is to relog or to teleport (or get teleported).
21. [ QUOTE ]
Couldn't you send in-game emails in advance about non-scheduled maintainence to everyone if you know it's going to occur. Not just post it in obscure forums that most people don't even know about?

[/ QUOTE ]If people don't know about the official City of forums it's not because they are obscure, it's because they choose to be ignorant. The official site and forums has always been the source ot get info, including a link at the log in screen and in game tips on the load screens saying such things.
22. The information on breakfrees is wrong now at least conerning repel. A small breakfree is 50% resistance to repel, while emerge and escape are 100% resistance to repel. On that note, I kind of wish the willpower icons were still being using for breakfrees.
23. I'm guessing she's sitting, hehe you would have ot ask DragonBerry since she drew it, I just colored it
