  1. *Bellonda pops in with a flash of light and gives Detra and others warm greetings before she says goodbye to Earth* I will be escaping Earth today along with the rest of my sisterhood. Fare well Detra, hopefully we will meet again some day. I always enjoyed having you as one of my sisters in the Naughty Space Vixens and of course because you are my friend and my sister you are welcome to join us in leaving today to where ever you need to go.

*gives her a warm hug before departing to finish up her tasks on Paragon Earth before portal hoping away*
  2. Today is the last day the Sisterhood of Naughty Space Vixens will be active. Its a bit sad but I'm happy too and look forward to my event tonight and hope for a turnout to see us go. But we have begun new chapters in other games so our story continues. I will have one last post tomorrow after we close up. Thank you Virtue for having us.
  3. ((In character as Bellonda))

    Dear Friends and Earthlings,
As you know well by now, the Nothing (The Coming Storm or whatever you want to call it) is on its way to devour Paragon Earth. Being the opportunists we are, we have been quietly moving our loot off Earth to new places in the galaxy and different dimensions over the last few months, and on the 25th of November, we will be closing down our base of operations on Paragon Earth.

We love Paragon Earth, and feel we have been an important part of it (or scourge if you ask some) for the last 6 years, but feel the story of Paragon Earth is over for us ((for now, I have faith I will see it again somehow)) but our stories and adventures will continue elsewhere.

We have made many friends here since we opened our Sisterhood and they have been kind to us. I'd like to return the favor by offering an escape for them from Paragon Earth to other places and dimensions we can reach for them or at least give them a job on our ships and space stations if they have no place to go. We are also taking requests currently for non friends as well as long as they have some skill they can barter with and sign on to join our crews and facility staffs for a short tour of duty. If you don't have the skills but are the teachable sort, we can find a place for you as well. Remember though, we are the unscrupulous sort, so you must bear that in mind if you place your future with us. We tend to have a nasty habit of spacing mutineers.

To those who stay till the end, we applaud and respect you. Maybe you might win the day after all, especially the real super heroes among you and I wish you luck with that. Being realists, we made plans and contingencies early on and have been executing them with some success. And this last goodbye is our final contingency here and all are welcome to show up and have a little fun with us remembering the good times and the...not...so good times but mostly the good times .

So, if you'd like to come join us for our final goodbye, we will be waiting outside the St. Martial base portal at 9pm GMT (4pm EST) on Sunday, November 25th to invite you to our base to leave Paragon Earth or just to see us off before shutting down our chapter here. The Sisterhood begins to depart at 10pm GMT (5pm EST).

This doesn't have to be the end for you, our list is filling out, make your escape and continue your destiny.

    -Bellonda T'sasha
Founder and Leader of the Sisterhood of Naughty Space Vixens
    Inter-Dimensional Businesswoman, Smuggler and Opportunist

((A little about us. The Sisterhood of Naughty Space Vixens is a group founded in 2006 to work together to make a base. Since then, we have reached Virtue's top 50 list, peaking at 27th place on the prestige list. Our members are mostly creative, fun loving casual players who are supportive of each other and love to PUG and have fun with our fellow teammates. A misconception about us is that we are an ERP group, which isn't the case as we are mostly OOC on our toons and only rp lightly if at all. In fact, when I made the group, I never knew people did that, lol. We had alot of fun on our 6 years here with the CoX community and hopefully we contributed to making it better as was our intention. If you'd like to join us in the future, contact us. We are on Guild Portal and use the Space Vixens global channel on Cryptic games. We have plans on making homes in several games for our players and you are welcome to join us as we continue our story and fun elsewhere. Even so, I will be there for the Final Mapserve on my original toon as will several other sisters and the rest of you all. Good luck and most importantly, Have fun!))
  4. You can join me Monday night. It should be interesting with all the level shifted Incarnates with Judgement AoE's.
  5. I run Mothership Raids every Monday, continuing the tradition of Mothership Mondays on Virtue. Tomorrow, it will be in RWZ3, I think. I will start around 9 or 10PM EST depending on when my class lets out.
  6. Unfortunately, gf couldn't make it and I don't think any of the Virtue finalists won but it was fun and some of the costumes looked really nice. And thankfully, the whole contest was short. I had fun though and that's what's important and I will happily show off Bell's Virtue Ms. Rogue Isles title for the short amounts of time I will be online this year (I will be deployed most of this year).
  7. The test server updater was easy to install for me. It just took 40 minutes to download (time I used to get chores around the house done and talk with my girlfriend). I followed the directions and used the updater and copied Bell and Wah-lah, I was in the D on test. Directions are here:
    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/annou...php?f=576&a=16

My girlfriend (who is filled with awesomeness) is wanting to join me there by my side just for me . She is having problems though with the download stopping at something like 63% and is having a friend look at it while she's at work today. Hopefully she will be there tonight with me.

Noting Fenrisulfr's difficulties, I will probably throw the test server files in the recycle bin after tonight. Unless I decide to keep it to do the GR closed beta.

I will let you all know how the results, my gf's fix and some opinions tonight and tomorrow.
Thanks to all the support so far, even if some of it will be afar.
  8. Hi all! As some of you may know the PERC guild is holding their big Costume Contest on the Test Server on Friday starting at 9pm EST. I and a few others of the Virtue community will be representing Virtue in the contest (my Bellonda, our Ms. Rogue Isles for Virtue, will be one of the finalists) and I think it would be great if members of the community show up to support us. Who's going to show up, root us on?

Virtue's representatives to the Test Server for the finals are:
    Mr. Paragon City: Matt Smith
    Ms. Paragon City: Freedom Darling
    Mr. Rogue Isles: Dr. Grindhouse
    Mrs. Rogue Isles: Bellonda
  9. Yaayyy!!! IwonIwonIwon!!! Thank you Perc and thanks to all the people and sisters who rooted for me, especially my space vixen sisters and my RL girlfriend who was by my side during the event and has come to visit me today for Christmas (which is why I will not be online much lately ). I will be on for an hour tonight later at the Chalet around 10 EST to meet with any well wishers .

Also, I want to say good job to the other winners and runners ups on the costumes.

I usually avoid the forums because if I'm online, then I should be doing something more fun then reading posts and posting on forums . I didn't hear about the contest until the night of the event while I was in the D with a friend having our tier 3 minions fight each other. My Otis (arguably the most (in)famous Assault Bot on the server) fought and beat her Bernie (Lich). If my friend and I didn't get the idea for the fight, I would have never known about the contest that night. I'm glad I came. I just went with Bell's classic black Arch-Villain costume (which can be seen on her profile on the Virtueverse site) and hoped for the best.

Thanks again PERC, I can't wait to show off the title when Bell gets it.

Next question I guess is how am I asked the finalist questions? I guess I(we) will need instructions for that.

    Looks at watch....2350 EST, Wednesday...

    Huh....no updates yet...

*Waits with baited breath and a racing heart*
  11. Ok, the area of the wedding is secure and is ready for people to come. Wedding is in one hour. Should be fun and full of love

((As Bellonda)) Hahahaha I'd be lying if I said that wouldn't be a smart idea. I myself, will have my impenetrable defense system active to protect the wedding party from any misfortune. The Sisterhood will be seizing the building by force and then fortifying it so there will be violence. Reprisals and attempts to breach security is always a possibility with such a public event ((mid-level mobs do spawn there around the corners from the wedding area and I have seen mobs attack us during our beach parties in the past)). So if you come, keep on your guard, it is the Rogue Isles after all.
  13. (Announcing the RP wedding of Bellonda T'sasha and the villain known as Whispers in Darkness)
These two lovers have been devoted to each other for three years and while they had their fun, they remained committed to each other, have a home and a cute little girl and alot of love. On Sunday at 7pm EST on the rooftop of the old Marchand building in St. Martial they plan to formalize their union and announce their vows for each other.

Friends of Bellonda and Whispy and the Sisterhood of Naughty Space Vixens are invited to attend the event and the reception is being held at the Denile club soon after.
  14. Its actually very easy for a lowbie to get to the Giza if they are in a group with a base teleporter to St. Martial. It takes you right there on top of it. And there is a base portal at its base to take you back to base when you want to leave.
  15. I've talked to friends alot recently about the need for CoH to improve Quality of Life in the game. Especially a mail system (perhaps a courier service). Of course I can't deny all the improvements to QoL in the game but it has a long way to go.

I'd like them to drastically improve the graphics (a friend asked me to turn up the graphics to max so he could see how the game really looked. I told him it already was ) and drastically improve base building (more Sims style, less zone building tools). It takes my computer 5-10 seconds to change the base elevation on one square on my max size plot. That's not fun if I'm decorating the largest size room possible.

Another thing I'd like to see is random clickies spawning in a non-AE mission (it would give a reason for why some enemy is just waiting in mass to kick some butt in some out of the way room). The clickies should be rare and could give enhancements, inspirations, salvage or temporary powers like the side missions in the bank robbery/safeguard missions ("Hmm, found a Council assault rifle. Found only one clip of ammo with it but it might come in handy anyways."). I think opening it should reward all players on a team a random reward similar to mission completion.

Maybe have mobs going about their daily business until the heroes/villains are discovered attacking when reasonable. I can imagine foes caught sleeping, eating, and umm...other bodily functions...lol.

I mean we can already catch them rocking out to a boom box, it wouldn't be that hard.

I love the game as is but it has a long way to go.
  16. Happy birthday Justice Girls! Congratulations on your success (and the surpassing of my Sisterhood of Naughty Space Vixens on becoming the highest ranked all female toon group) and I wish you much more success in the future.

I should be coming as my global name sake or Dragon Prince. Sounds like fun and I know very well how good a host Mystic Blade is .

And if they play alot of the late 80's dance music I may not be able to continue ignoring the Cape this time .

Thanks for the personal invite, I will make sure today to advertise in my Sisterhood's MotD so they could join in if they like.

Great party! Wish we didn't have to wait a year for the next one.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well if I get enough requests, I may just throw an end of summer beach party at the same place.

    Afterthoughts:
It was fun and yet not fun for me, I had two instances last night of unfun damage control between friends of mine, that and trying to keep the party organized and smooth, I couldnt have much fun. I realize though the role of the organizer is not to have fun but to facilitate the fun of others. Sharing the organizing role helped in my fun factor a bit too, letting Malak, Night Widow Nyx and Xena and Mystic Blade take the reigns for awhile allowed me to have my fun, thank you.

The small cozy little beach, (which btw where Bell's rp home is) was packed with people. Some liked the larger North beach better but this little beach was better for so many reasons: Fire pit (complete with gas can), seating, a natural stage, security from ambushes is easy to maintain with pets due to choke points and low level spawns, and a nice view of sunrises over the ocean. People who didn't like how crowded it was could have easily spread out if they wanted to, the beach spreads out nicely in either direction from the stage area.

Another problem I saw was we had way too many judges for the CC's, Maybe no more then eight judges should be used.

Creating a global channel for the event helped keep it organized among the sponsors, and I made the mistake of not putting that channel into a seperate tab like I do with the VU2009 channel so I can focus either the local channels or the global channels. Local banter kept me from catching everything said on the event channel, tells too. Perhaps having tells on the event tab could help keep track of them too.

I think I will continue to ignore The Cape like I have the last few years seeing they were inflexible with me for this this and last year's event. Its my fault of course for being too spontaneous for their scheduling but still, it doesn't make me think highly of them . From what I understand, DJ Angel had a fine que of music last night that really fit with our after party.

I think about 500 million in prizes total were given out last night and I was happy to bring joy to the winners when they recieved their just rewards. That part was fun and helped make my night.

And that after party at Libertine's Haven was just plain naughty fun ^_^. Vanessa Vanity has a really nice group and an incredible base/club. I'm sure she's still looking for more entertainers and staff.

And the Sisterhood of Naughty Space Vixens got at least two new sisters last night even though I wasn't actively recruiting, we were that charming and fun . We are always looking for more to share in our fun.
  18. The event went very well and was very successful, a bit rough at the beginning but it smoothed out and I know I was having fun at the end.

    Tonight's winners:

    Mr. Beefcake: Darth Snidley

    Ms. Cheesecake: Carnival Sin

Queen of the Beach: Dominique Morea

King of the Beach: Clint Sanders (rp name)

Winner of the Gladiator Mash contest: Rod Steele

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all who came and made it such a success. And thank you very much, Queen Xena, Mystic Blade, Malak, Vanessa Vanity and her Libertines Haven club and of course my fellow sisters ,
  19. Ok, current plans for the party is this:

    Saturday the 27th.

4pm EST: I and a few other's will be gathering to start the bon fire and make final preperations.

5pm EST: official start of the party.

530pm EST: Mr. Beefcake contest, a costume contest for best looking male on the beach sporting beach fashion. Winner will get at least 30 million infamy and a pick from the prize pool of recipes. Runner ups will recieve money prizes and costume salvage as well.

600pm EST: Ms. Cheesecake contest, a costume contest for best looking female in beach fashion. Winner will get at least 30 million infamy and a pick from the prize pool of recipes. Runner ups will recieve money prizes and costume salvage as well.

630pm EST: King of the Beach! PVP fight for the right to be called King of the Beach. May the most cunning villain win. The winning male contestant will get at least 30 million infamy and a pick from the prize pool of recipes. Rules for this will be a last man standing battle royale.

700pm EST: Queen of the Beach! PVP fight for the right to be called Queen of the Beach. May the most devious villainess win. The winning female contestant will get at least 30 million infamy and a pick from the prize pool of recipes. Rules for this will be a last woman standing battle royale.

730pm EST: The Great Gladiator Mash!, Choose your minions, set your graphic settings low and be ready for utter chaos. This will be our longest battle contest of the party so if you join, prepare for a long but exciting slugfest. The winner will recieve at least 40 million infamy and two recipes from the prize pool.

800pm and beyond: We may hold other contests if the beach goers still have energy like a bio contest, relay race with numerous rare inspirations as prizes, parting gifts for the end of the party, and much later on, Libertine's Haven will put on an exotic dance show to close out the party at around 10pm EST. And just like last year we will keep the bonfire's going until only us sponsors are left or we leave Port Oakes a smoldering ruin after having too much fun .

Prize money may increase by the time the party starts depending on further luck in the market and donations.

Music will not be provided by the Cape (I was one day too short of their minimum deadline when I remembered to request them and they will not allow it to be worked out, curses!). However that shouldn't stop you from tuning your boom boxes you brought to the beach to the Cape and enjoy their scheduled programming . It might still be possible somehow to have a stream of music going by one of the sponsors or any player out there who would like to volunteer.

I hope to see much of the redside community there for some good...er bad fun
  20. We have decided on a few things durring our meeting but not everyone was able to show up due to work or sleep and not everything was able to be decided on. We are moving the starting time to 5pm EST for sure, and 1st place winners will be able to choose a recipe from a vast pool of recipes including pvp and purple recipes and at least 25 mil in infamy.

We will have another meeting on Friday at 9pm EST.
  21. *hugs Azerrath*
I feel for you man, a few close in game friends of mine have been interupted playing this game due to the economy and one friend who has lost his job has even done the right thing and gone back to school to improve his talents by getting his masters.

Nursing and the medical field, the military (except the Navy), law enforcement, and probably small local governments need people right now and could be good options for you.
  22. hmmm, I would love to submit a photo of myself in uniform for this but will leave it for someone newer to the game. Someone perhaps more deserving. Even though a 60 month vet I still don't have the code for that upgrade but I think others need it more then me. I won one durring pvp at Nadya's halloween party a couple years ago but gave it away to a friend of mine who wanted one so so badly for quite some time.

If I were to suggest another way to give this away, Nadya, perhaps durring my big redside beach party, award it to the best costume for someone with a low numbered vet badge or less.
  23. *Gives a big warm happy birthday hug to Nadya*

Happy birthday Nadya, here's wishing you many many more. I shall drink for you and in your honor because I know you probably won't be able to really celebrate your 21st for a little while Cheers!! *Raises his drink and drains it*
  24. Planning meeting for everyone that would like to help out is tonight at 9pm EST at the beach, location, -3587.1 10.5 1058.2.

Current donations and prize money is over 400 million infamy now, not including recipes, which will include purples and pvp recipes. Final prizes and events will be announced tonight.
  25. Planning meeting has to be changed to Monday at 9pm EST at the beach due to spending time with the family on vacation.

Current donations and prize money is 190 mil and I still have a few hundred mil in recipes I can give.
