We have two new power sets coming out soon, and I'm sure we'll have more in the year to come. That's alot of new characters being made, with some being scrapped and replaced a few times. That's a HUGE demand for the costume salvage to get the extra costume on alot of characters. And that's not even considering the usefulness of extra costumes on characters with weapons once Weapon Customization goes in.
However, the salvage isn't dropping all that fast. Plus, some of us will be limited on the time we can spend hunting for it.

If you're anticipating remaking some of your toons, just get all the salvage you can, and then save it until after you're sure on the builds. Just get SG-mates/friends to help with the salvage transfers.
I vaguely recall that the NPC's you turn your costume salvage into to get the extra costume slot will be kept in the game after the event... could be wrong about that though...
I love Halloween and new outfits, plus the random costume changers sounds like fun ^_^ I loved it when as a villain we got to dress up like the council for an hour, this sounds like just as much fun for heros too!

Also, just my 2 inf: I think I'd rather get a rercipe to make the costume temp power. This way it would be easier to collect them all and to sell off the duplicate costumes one might get.

I think the temp costume power pushes the event from good (downgraded from last year's awesome due to it being last year's event) to awesome!

I just wish we got more than barely a week, especially since Jack in Irons was so horribly difficult to find last year...considering how angry people were about that I hope they made him more reasonable this year...

Every time I run one of the Halloween event Trick missions on my character Crone, I get ambushed right at the door, before I even get zoned in. I sometimes die even before I get my minions out. It's just load screen, BAM, dead in the street. This event is TOTALLY unfair to the Witch AT. Please fix the ambushes.

It says that it is taking place Oct. 22nd and Nov. 4th. Now, are they actually only doing it those 2 days, or is it a misprint and they meant Oct. 22nd through Nov. 4th?

"...take place between October 22nd and November 4th!" (emphasis mine).
It will start on 10-22 and be active until 11-4. Only having it active actually on those dates would be silly.

This has been discussed. And at this point, there's no way the devs would make major changes to the event. There just isn't time.

But my point is I wish it was longer, more like the entire month of Oct :/ seems like it was longer last year...
None of the events have been longer than 2 weeks, unless they decided to restart one (Winter event from last year). The only thing that lasts a month is the "log in during this time and get an anniversary badge" stuff.
Anyway, with Issue 11 nigh upon us, you really don't want the event lasting that long. Then you'll have more time to go on test when they open it up to everyone.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Why cant the event start the 20th for those of us who work during the weekdays and can not access the game during the week?
