Are the matches from monday recorded and who is in the ladder.. a ranking would be cool.

You're on the site for it. TGIA is handling the setup of the initial ladder and there will be additional threads created for challenges and results for each the villain and hero side once initial seating is established.

I'm not exactly sure what you feel is missing... everything was laid out pretty clearly regarding how the ladder was setup, what the SG leaders needed to do, etc. Please share specifically where you feel lack of organization or communication happened.

There obviously is no ladder ranking yet because there are still initial setup matches for Wednesday night. As far as who is in the ladder, that information is readily available by viewing the rosters and SGs signed up for it on this thread.

Maybe a list of who is in it?

Even psycock had a site when he tried to set up a ladder.

Can the league have it's own forums section at least..

Good suggestion regarding the forum section and it is being followed up on.

What are you looking for when you ask for a list of who is in it... 'it' is the ladder? If so, that should pretty clear if you read the signup threads and will be posted again with the initial seating of the ladder after Wednesday night's matches if you don't feel like scrolling back.

I think he means that it would be nice to have one place when you could look to find all the teams and all the players playing for the teams. Without having to read the entire thread and picking out the "signup" posts out of the 500 spam ones.

To find where people will begin on the PvP Ladder we will be starting a round robin, this is where every group who has signed up will face one another. Initial ranking will be based first on win to loss ratio. Ties will be decided by who has beat whom. In an instance where that does not rectify the problem it will be based on margin of victory, and then on over all victories if mov still does not satisfy the problem. This is only for the initial ranking. We will begin this process on Sunday the 29th of July at 9 PM EST. It is requested that all groups who have signed up for the ladder be there. We will go until midnight. It is expected that SG Captains will set up their own matches. For initial ranking it is only 1 match, not 2 out of 3 so we can save time and get this ladder up as soon as possible. We will then meet up again on Wednesday August 1st at 9 PM EST going til midnight once again. It is expected that SG Captains will simply ask for matches over arena chat. Make sure you face every SG in the ladder on these two nights. If you do not face a group it will be counted as a loss for both groups. Also, all matches are to be reported to me. Please send the results of every match you have to me on the blue boards with score and who won. Both SG Captains must report these results to me so I can check for consistency. Any group who purposefully reports inaccurate results will be automatically placed at the bottom of the ladder.

The Groups who have signed up thus far with a roster are as follows:

Envy The Shadow King
Whirligig

As stated above, you have two nights for a total of 6 hours to face each one of these groups one time, make sure you do so.

We have come up with a prize for whomever is at the top of the ladder on the first of every month. Ex has agreed to give out forum titles on the first of every month to the SG who has the top spot on the ladder at the first of every month. The title must be the same for everyone. The captain of the SG will present up to 3 titles they wish to have and Ex will pick the most appropriate one.

I have been contacted regarding some rules people wish to have added, I need every SG captain to respond here and give a yes or no to the rules. Please do not debate here on why, make another thread for that.

Amendment 1: If a group is inactive for more than two months they are to be removed from the ladder.

Amendment 2: Bar code teams are not to be permitted. (A bar code team is where a team has almost the exact same name as to make spiking nigh impossible. This issue has arose from the new ability to change ones name.)

It would be cool if it was split into 4 threads for: Challenges, Results, Rankings and general discussion.

Also, I was wondering how one of the rules is working. Say one SG was open and ready to fight but another was not, or maybe due to scheduling differences or whatever the reason, two SGs were not able to fight. Does this count as loss? I don't care too much about the initial ranking but, like someone in fol said on vent, we could theorhetically create a new SG, fight no one but ourselves and everyone would take a loss.

Also, Since the preliminary time is over, I assume SGs can issue challenges freely and not be limited to only two days of possible fighting? Thanks, sorry if I came off rude, just want to clarify somethings that have me confused.

Oh and also, great matches last night, I was Mykonos? (obviously).

Anyone know if Hellraisers fought? I couldn't make it last night, and Terpman is no longer playing CoX, so curious if someone else took up the helm.

I hadn't heard that Terp's no longer playing, but that's certainly sad to hear.

HR was there last night. I know they fought the Freaks, but I can't remember what other groups. They took on quite a few.

Ok cool. I showed up on Sunday and no one else did, sent a PM to Terp and he wrote me back and said his account had expired and he was not going to renew, said @battlewraith was going to take over lead, but I don't know who that is on the forums, and still waiting for an accept to my global friend invite to that name. Had baseball tickets last night and couldn't make it, hopefully will be able to make it next time whenever that is.
