Think I posted this in the wrong thread so posting here:

This was reported so hopefully it's known.. Skull belts are now missing from Jacket tops. They have been there since CoV but now they're gone as of I8 and was bug reported in game and through the forums. Please return the skull belts.

The emblem patterns for females aren't showing up at all. Also the male robotic head design doesn't have ears sticking out, but the female robotic does. Ears sticking out on the female robotic heads just doesn't look right, to me anyways.

wedge haircut for girls is messed up.

so is the one with the bangs (can't remember the name).

for guys the glowing eyes option isn't working...that is to say you cannot select a color for the glowing eyes. it defaults to the same color as the face.

Emblem Patterns not showing up on females confirmed here too. Not just an isolated issue, I see.

Some costume pieces show differently in the Costume Editor than in the usual 3-dimensional third-person view. These are just some examples from a 3-costumed villain.

None of the 3 costume slots ever wore a necktie. They were set to "t-shirt" not "dress shirt". When I look at my costumes in the usual game window they look unchanged in I8. If I go into the Costume Editor, though, slots 0 and 2 are now set to "dress shirt", and I'm being charged 200k infamy. If I click the little reset button to the right of chest options things revert to the T-Shirt, but I still have to pay 200k infamy for the change (even though nothing is really changing).

I am also seeing some "contamination" across costume slots. All 3 slots have "Head = Hats". Slots 0 and 2 have "Detail 1 = None"; slot 1 has "Detail 1 = Blast Goggles". When I edit slots 0 and 2 sometime I see and am being charged for goggles as if I just added them, other times I correctly don't have goggles.

This happens regardless of my SG Mode setting.

I wish to echo the dislike for the new hairstyles, specifically the Straight and Wedge hairstyles. Please return them to the original models, or allow the original models as options and provide tokens to allow us to restore our characters' hairstyles. Thanks.

By the way, I love lots of the other new options. But the old hair options really need to come back.

The new costume pieces I've tried out look pretty good so far. Only real complaint I have is, there is a nice wolf skin, no wolf tail. *sigh* Ah well, I know these things take time so I'll continue to wait patiently.

Bow Tie is a let down. I was hoping for just a simple bow tie to the front of the neck, but it also includes a thick strap that goes around the back of the neck and looks really, really bad, at least with the tuxedo I tried it with. Oh well.

[/ QUOTE ]

Where is this bowtie? Is it available for females?

PS- new hair changes are pretty crappy, sorry. Why not add Wedge 2 for the new one, and make the better (old) one Wedge 1? And so on...

All you have to do to fix this is select Supernatural Face 13 (the one that normally had the glowing eyes), and on the bar below it where you'd add different options like facepaint/eye masks...click Reset (on that second bar)and you'll have the glowing eyes texture back. Also if you click one space to the left instead of reset it will also default to the glowing eyes, so long as you have Supernatural Face 13 selected. The pattern will even be called Supernatural Face 13.

These options work on alot of costume pieces as well such as Justice, Sinister, etc. Anything with it's own named texture basically.

One thing I would have liked is that older characters would not have any costume options changed. My original costume slot on one of my characters is no longer achievable, yet I still wear it. (I just cannot make any alterations...ever)

So, why blatantly change the hairstyles? They didn't cause any issue, and they've been around for over two and a half years. Who got the hair up their butt and felt like they needed to 'fix' the hairstyles? To make matters worse, the older options aren't even available. All players are automatically changed to this 'new and improved' version.

Ask yourself this: Would you get upset if, overnight, someone decided to sneak into your home and cut your hair to how they decided you should look? It may only take two or three snips to ruin your hair.

Now, I have to change the style of my main character, who has had the same style since launch, because the new one just looks goofy. Unfortunately, I cannot change it on my 1st costume slot, because by doing so, I screw up my pants.

Again, I say Yay! to blatant across the board changes! It apparently affects every aspect of Cryptic! Weee!!

Not sure if this has been posted or not, seems way too glaring to have been missed completely. The samauri belts do some REALLY strange things sometimes, particularly while hovering or activating a teleport power like base teleport or pocket D teleport.

The armor pieces go all over the place, detatching from the belt and ending up in odd spots, and even elongating.

Interesting. i never noticed this on test, but it occurs to me that i didn't use Pocket D or base porter on test, and none of my flying characters used Samurai armor very much. Does it happen with personal teleport powers, or just the zone-switching powers? i think i'll go dress my Warshade in Samurai armor and test this.

i noticed in the patch notes that "Zombie texture added to the monstrous legs".
i know that it used to be an option and i guess was removed.
i checked on this after that patch and there is no zombie option for the monstrous legs still.

Not really sure if this should be here, in the Veteran rewards thread, or known issues thread, but since it has to deal with costume pieces I'll put it here and let the Red Names sort it out.

In Greek characters the 'Zeta' character is listed twice in both upper and lower case, so two upper 'Zetas' and two lower 'Zetas'. The Greek character 'Pi' is missing in upper and lower case.

Considering all of the "I like pie" comments, I'm surprised that this (Pi) of all of the Greek character is missing.

mentioned this in the wrong thread but the samurai armor chest piece doesn't show up outside of the costume selection screen. weird..

Regarding the single shoulder capes, was it meant for those to be available before reaching level 20? I hav toons that are not 20 yet (from lvl 3 to 17) that have the option for the single shoulder cape.

If it is not meant to be theta way you may want to catch that rather quick.

Jumping on board the unhappy hairstyle train, here.

[/ QUOTE ]
Same. Our pleas in the official thread on the Training Room forum got zero response. Now this is the official thread to cry in, so here I am.

Every hairstyle that was changed dramatically needs to have the old options available as well.

I demand the old Flip and Straight back. Leave the new versions in as additional options, great. But I have two characters who are staying on the shelf until their hair is fixed. Including my new Peacebringer who is my only hero low level enough to check out the new Faultline. That's right; I am boycotting Faultline until that character can have her trademark hairstyle back.

I don't like Wedge myself, but the new one looks even worse, and I totally support those who want to be able to use the old one.

A few people say they think it's a bad idea to "clutter up" the costume menus with "thousands" of options. We are talking about 3-5 hairstyles here. Put the old ones back. I am normally not very pushy or demanding, but blatantly removing distinct hairstyles is simply unacceptable.

Figured this deserves a 'me too'.

The trenchcoats are ugly. A main factor is that they don't move like an actual garment, like a cape does. I know this would require a lot of animation, but pasting some goofy looking fluttery tail to a preexisting, non-moving jacket ain't good. If we must have non-moving trenchcoats, I think it would be better if the entire thing didn't move, and more fully enveloped the character. You know, like in the matrix.

Just use the labcoat jacket.

• Characters can have tails and wear trenchcoats at the same time

Why do the tails with the trench coat look clipped? They are far shorter then the original tails and look ridiculous. I don't care if the tail clips the trench coat a little bit (never had a problem with it clipping my capes once in a while). Please make the tails w/ trenchcoat full length. We can always pick the V cut coat tail to go with it.

This has been debated ad nauseum. The devs definitely know about the issue.

• "Ponytails Fat" added to female hair styles.

We hates them, precious. They burns our eyes. Nasty, wicked, false! They will blinds us, precious!
*screams a gutteral, tortured cry of agony and pain*
In short, they're painful to look at. Keep the fat pigtails in if you must, but fix the other hairstyles.

Also, has something been done to the geometry of female faces? I was tinkering around with hairstyles and all the short haircuts made my character look like a drag queen. She used to have a soft, round face. Now, no matter what I do, her face looks incredibly broad/square. Even the Thin scaling looks masculine!
