Sorta. My Bank just ditched Visa in favor of MC so that means any purchases from PlayNC will have to go on a CC instead of my Debit Card.

I used to work at a convience store, and when they switched over to the MC debits, sooo many issues.
Mind you, that reader was merely less borked after it got fixed, but never had an issue with WaMu Visa debits.

How do i do the 9.99 online code purchace? Can someone give me a walkthrough? I went to account management, and didn't see anywhere that I could get the code. I already have copies of the games, and just want to get the ingame powers. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

It's too late now, but I would suggest next time NC makes an exclusive offer, they have the software prepped for download in case this happens again.
It's a major let down to the fan base they've built. Yes, it might not be their fault, but a promise is a promise. You've promised your product was available at a store exclusively: low and behold, I can't find it there.
Is it NC's problem; no.
You are a business though and the first thing NC should have done when they saw they're product NOT hitting the shelves(and they knew), they should have been on the phone talking to Walmart buyers and the marketing department.
Part of the problem lies with Walmart and their shady business practices.
The rest of the blame(at least 40%) lies on the shoulders of NC. When it comes to chain stores it is your job to make sure your product is hitting the shelves. No question. I've got more than 12 years in retail and I can tell you that's the truth.
NC is a little lazy and probably doesn't even hire auditors who go through the stores and check things out.
That's plain lazy and wouldn't float in most other forms of retail. I'm not threatening to hang up my cape or anything, but it lets you down a bit when you see these people working so hard to give you a quality product and then it all fall apart at the sales end.

Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.
What I don't understand is once it became clear that WalMart had screwed up the launch why didn't they go ahead and activate the online purchase option instead of just leaving it for Oct 6.
The online delay didn't have anything to do with WalMart... maybe. In any case, they probably couldn't have done that if they wanted to.

This doesnt bode well for Australian fans. I have an old account I dont really want to activate untill this box set comes out, right now theres almost nothing available in Australia, only the occasional COV, and most stores say they havent been receiving COH products in quite some time, and have no indication of recieving any in the future.
Im wondering if anyone knows if this release will make it to Australian shores eventually? And in what stores?
I've tried amazon.uk but delivery to Australia on the particular product isnt happening, Europe and UK only. I really dont want to have to resort to Ebay.

Code purchase is available now. Login to your PlayNC account, click the "PURCHASE CODE" link and you'll be able to do it. I've purchased online and have now begun using the ingame stuff.
Initial reaction to what I've tried so far:
Jump Jet - Pretty nifty, but should lose the time limit. The fact that it has only vertical thrust and whatever endurance cost it has will keep it from being a real travel power instead of just the novelty that it is.
Pocket D Teleporter: REALLY long interrupt time, but that's no particular concern. I'd like to see the Recharge time decreased significantly. It has no impact on being able to get into the Tiki room through the regular door, just the teleport, so no huge deal either way Finally having access to that Tiki room that has been beckoning me for weeks is a huge relief. But there's no bartender in there, so hopefully that will get rectified.
Haven't tried the costume stuff yet, but have a couple characters that have been waiting on that Justice costume

Yepl. I got my only credit card back eleven years ago with Citibank. Then it was Visa, but a few years back they converted everyone to Mastercard. So basically, I'm screwed here and cannot purchase the upgrade.

Why? They advertised what they were giving very clearly. There have been tons of posts about what the costume options are, how the jetpack works and what the Pocket D teleport thing does and where it takes you.
If you feel ripped off you have only yourself to blame.

I got on a different system, went through the whole process and got "You Have Exceed The Maximum Number of Codes Allowable For This Card".

Yeah, it appears to allow only 1 code purchase per day per IP address, and 1 code purchase per MONTH per credit card...
