No problem, sorry if I was touchy... Just been having a bad day at work (and spending my lunch trying to find the GvE edition again 
) and my words have been misread or ignored a thousand and a half times so far in the last few posts I've made. (Exaggeration when I say 1500, but some days it feels like it... this being one of those days.) I can see how easy it is to confuse what I said.
Nonetheless, it doesn't make me any less unhappy, and worst of all, I have no one to blame. Why did NCSoft allow WalMart to be the sole carrier? I don't know, so I can't judge them on their choice (as irritated as it makes me.) Is it Wally World's fault? Or did they not recieve their shipments on time from the distributor? I don't know. All I know is there was this great marketing ploy (Look! 30 seconds of a semi-travel power on level 1 character!) for someone like myself (and others browsing this board), and I'm not able to take advantage of it. So as someone else said "What's up? Do you not want my money?" Couldn't it at least have been sold on PlayNC's website?
Too much speculation, not enough answers. All I know is the guy at WalMart will hold one for me as soon as they get one it...................

I understand completely. It seems like most of the people on the boards are a bit stressed over this...not without cause, since it's extremely frustrating.

That's a ray of hope, at least. Now they just need to actuall get one.
(As a side note, I think all the Wal*marts where I live have stopped answering the phone in electronics. I get the image of the clerks hiding under their desk whimpering "Oh, God, it's someone else wanting that damn computer game."

Walmart has been advertising that Tuesday is "Hot Release Night" or something, so I wouldn't doubt that they will begin stocking GvE starting tomorrow. I got mine and have been playing around with the goodies. The Tiki Room is pretty plush!
I still find it odd that we havne't received any redname feedback on this.

The GvE boxes have been shipped to Walmart stores. As many of you know there has been a delay on getting these on the shelves.
Many Walmart stores do not expect Good Versus Evil to be in stock until possibly the end of this week. However, the availability may still vary per store - it could be later for some locations. So you may want to call ahead to see if they have it.
We certainly did not anticipate any delays. Please remember that there are many outside factors that can affect a product once it is packaged and sent out. We simply had no control over this one.
It appears that Walmart.com is currently out of stock...BUT they have indeed ordered more. That is confirmed.
Note: There is a separate issue that has delayed the "in-game items only" online package (this is the package you will be able to purchase through PlayNC.com) This delay is unrelated to the Good Versus Evil Box delay. The in-game items only package was delayed for reasons specifically related to the online store.

I've looked around for info on the Pocket D Tiki Teleport from anyone who actually got the GvE edition. All I can find is a bit of info suggesting the "interrupt time" is ~15 seconds.
Has anyone gotten any info on the recharge timer? I'm curious to know how often it can be used. Either my search-fu is weak (quite possible) or no one has talked about it.

Just logging into the boards this morning and having my first opportunity to post. I recieved the GvE edition yesterday and messed around with the "goodies" last night.
Pocket D Teleport
Recharge on the Pocket D Teleport is 30 minutes although it felt longer. It does have a pretty cool animation but (untested) since the animation time is so long I would hardly see it to be considered a PvP "Eject" even if it had a shorter recharge time. I have not tested its use in PvP though. Animation time is um about the same as unslotted snipe<est.>
Jump Pack <<Boost>>
I apologize for not having hard numbers on this but I will attempt to be as useful as possible. This is a "click" power that lasts for about 30-60 seconds (est.) It offers little to no directional movement on its own, aside from "up" and has a long recharge. I dont have much info on it because, frankly, it would be situational at best yet that is probably a good thing. Anyway, not a travel power by any sense of the term.

Yup, its an accolade..... cant really say much beyond that.
Costume Items
The added costume pieces are listed as "Sinister" for the villain intended side and I think "Justice" on the hero side. Pretty basic but slightly interesting look. I will post a screenie if possible later.
Thats about it. Nothing ground breaking to speak of and marginally worth the money. Im happy with it and expected nothing more then what it is. The updated game cd's/dvd's are nice to have and, if buying from Walmart you do get a month free. Oh well, just though I would share what I know from using it last night.

To get an avatar under your name, you'll need a picture (80x80pixels) and host it on the internet. Many of us use www.photobucket.com It's free and has an easy interface.
Once you've uploaded the picture, you'll need to find it's direct URL address. If you use photobucket, it'll actually have the url listed below the picture.
After that, come to these forums, look at the top of the page and click on "my home". Click where it says "personal information..etc". Then scroll down to where it has a place to put the URL for your avatar in, paste the URL in and click submit.
That should get you your avatar under your name here.

And they've jerk hacked the map. Look at the third image. Look at the old city zone setup on vidiotmaps. Notice something missing? On the new map, there's an 'X' with 'Hamidon sighting here', but there's no room to put the Hive in its relation to Eden without a lot of shuffling. All of the other zone gates are straightforward tunnels to the next zone, but the link between Eden and the Hive has to either loop way out of line -- based on the other zone connections, the gate on the west side of Eden should go straight into southeastern Faultline -- or go under Faultline to pop up on the far side, which doesn't make sense from the position of the Hamidon sighting mark and the fact that the tunnel would be going under a reservoir. Could this be an indication that the Hive and the Hamidon are going away in the future, with Hamidon raids being replaced by the Statesman SF?

I thought that at first too, but the original map was the same: the "dam zone" of Faultline was right next to the Eden zone. Apparently, the Hive is out of line with the zone door. Go figure.

Does walmart online only have 10 boxes at a time? They're out of stock again. When can I go too Best Buy and get this? Might as well wait till I can buy it at Ncsoft and save some money and hassle.
If you buy the box does the 30 days get added to your current sub or is it just for new subscribers?

The Cooper Street Walmart in Arlington, TX has a man named Micah in the electronics department. He's twice looked over the backroom stock for me, and has taken a lot of time to try to help out. I'm hoping that the store gets it in soon, but either way, I do intend to tell his manager that he's gone to the mat for me.

Sorta. My Bank just ditched Visa in favor of MC so that means any purchases from PlayNC will have to go on a CC instead of my Debit Card.

Well, I just went to all 3 walmarts (of hell) and none have it, have herd of it, or know when it will be in. This is crazy! (They should at least know about it by now as well as when it's comming in) I do know that it will be at least next Tuesday before they *might* be in.... this is so lame.
I'm praying the powers that be will never market this to one venue only ever again.
I did, however, go to Target to get X-Men III (movie, not game, already have the game)... so I'll just watch it over and over till CoH/CoV can get all thier ducks in a row... however long that will take. (because I wanted the hard copies, not the online code)
