Jay's Costume Bug Fix Thread
I'm not sure if this would be called a bug or a limitation but I'll give it a go...
Glowing auro on the eyes looks great from the front but looks downright silly from the back - giving more of a halo effect. This has been true since auras came out a couple of years ago.
P.S. Jay is as sexy as he thinks he is.
Not sure if they exactly are costume problems...
In the water if one has a stealth power active the whole part undewater disappears

Another problem is with the pants when one is stealthed the pants become half transparent and the leg shows in transparence only it stops abruptly at the knee.

However depending on the angle the legs seems to disappear

Not so much a bug with costume items in particular, but with my costume pieces in the SG settings screen. When I am in the settings to change my colors, it shows my torso being tight with no pattern. However the costume torso is actually bare muscular chest with electricity for my first costume. The same thing happens with my second costume in which I actually have a tch torso with electricity. It lets me pick the right colors I want, but the display is not entirely my costume in the SG settings screen. Once I exit that screen, my color choices take effect, but are now accurate to my costume choices. One of the problems I have with this is that my first costume has reaper, and when I try to change the color of it, detail 2 is not there, only face, which alters my face color. I will attach screen shots when I get home and can access the game.

Ok, I have my screenshots now. It is more than just the torso's it is also the masks. I have masks on the faces (in costume 1 it's barely noticeable, but in costume 2 it is. Both show dramatically different in the SG color editing.

Costume 3 turns out fine, except that the face I have chosen in my other costumes for mask with hair (I believe face 5) is not available with hats. It shows up as a different face 5 from villains.

and actually come to think of it, this all started after I went to the tailor and created costume 3, but I hadn't been to the tailor for a couple weeks prior to that, so I don't know if that's what caused it or if it was the update on 6/27.
Another question, how can I get my screenshots brighter. I tried setting the gamma in the game to the lowest to brighten it as much as possible, also the brightness and contrast on my PC is maxed out. Is there another setting I'm missing?
Since Issue 7 at least...and possibly before my main Villain's cape has been bugged. The cape itself seems to grow from his shoulderblades now rather than having a mantle going over his shoulders to the front. The front is completely missing the asymetrical mantle and brooch I used.
I have made no changes to my characters costume at all to create this bug. I cannot view these items in any costume slot or in supergroup mode, though the color choices still appear for the brooch in the supergroup costume window.
Also the costume top Padded style become malformed and the colors bleed at the neck. The following are the screenshots of the front and back. My first time posting an image link...hope it works.

Female , lower body , when I choice "Skirts and Pants" , the Bikini 2 and Bikini 3 in Bottom option are gone .

No Reaper cloth option is available, where-as it is in Male > Head> Half-Helmet> Detail 2

When trying to set up the sg colors on my various costumes, the design window has a lot of bugs that are different with each costume. Sometimes, the head and its accessories are changed (masks missing, wrong face), other times, it might be the belt missing. The end result is the same though - I have to just select colors and exit out to see what they look like because the pieces aren't visible in the window.
Sorry for no screenies. Already did a /bug for this, but im going to post anyway.
THANKS for getting HUGE->FEET->STONE texture finally added.
Now for the issue.
HUGE->CHEST->TIGHT->STONE is missing texture. It looks stretched and shiny. Compare it to STONE textures on the all the other parts (face, hands, legs, feet) and its looks like plastic. The other textures all look non-shiny and they look like they have pits and irregularities in the stone itself. That is missing in the CHEST pattern.
Jay and Ian are ... platonically ... sexy.
My favourite costume option is no longer available to the appropriate catagory. The Tech 1 Shoulders , as shown here by our fabulous model, PuppyPuncher, are available on Tights, but not on Armoured. I can't live without my techy techersons! aiieooo!

It was 3 am and I posted this in the costume request thread, my apologies. But, to correct that mistake, I'll put it in the right thread:
If you select the large or banded boot options, you get this. Please, I don't want hooves anymore. Can I have regular feet?
When I went to Icon last night, I tweaked my character who was wearing those lovely oriental brocade martial arts robes. I left his body white, and made the sleeves red, with white trim. For some reason, I left costume creator and his sleeves were ALL white, the red would not work. I wasted a costume token trying to fix it, with no luck.

I have a toon with a headband. Apparently, I was in super group colors when i7 hit. Whenever I go back to my regular colors, my headband is still black. There is no option in super group costume colors for a headband. So now I run around in my "orginal" blue colors with a black headband on, looking really stupid.

I can pin this one down a bit more for you, Jay. I just verified the following on Test:
Give a female character Young Face 9 (this may or may not matter), the Shag hairstyle, and the "Average 3" head shape. Exit the costume editor. The character will now have a notable bald spot.
Go back into the costume editor, and bring up the Scales panel. Adjust the center "Cranium" slider (the one for height) to the right (taller) until it's just shy of halfway -- lined up with the "Nose" center slider setting, if I remember right. The bald spot will be gone.
It appears that the Shag hairstyle isn't being properly applied to heads with very low Cranium height settings, resulting in the bald spot.
Head clipping already sited but I'll add mine too.

The V belt, the new one looks wrong, it used to mesh well with skirts, it doesn't now. Plus with some skirts it does clip whereas before I never had clipping issues with it.

Used to be a clipping issue with the back and some suits and capes and only when you moved the camera far away but looks like that's gone now. This is all I can think of off the top of my head. I'll post more as I remember.

Ok... on my Defender in the SG options. My toga comes up as a pleated skirt and tight tights top. (display issue)
Same defender, I "lost" the shoulder pads clickables in the SG options.... I couldn't change their color. I had to go to the costume store using one of my tokens to change it slightly before SG mode would see them ("Small" shoulder pads)
The same exact thing happened with the Rams Horns, on the same exact character.
The Tattered #4 cape clips about 4 inches up/out when running/jumping. It's just annoying.
Whats up with Chaos Leather..... NM-Figured this out and I feel like a fool.

Huge Chest Detail: Chain 1 and Chain 2 have some serious clipping issues when the Waist and/or Physique sliders are anywhere above about 1/3. Screenshot
Shoulders: Neck and Chain / Neck and Dual Chain - the arm chains have some sort of dotted line between them; looks like the edge of the surface the chains themselves are drawn on. Screenshot
Sorry if these have already been mentioned; 20 pages is a lot to sort through. Jay is sexy.
Any of the "New" horns when used with Hoods sit too High on the head.
The skulls options on the cape, if choosen with a jacket, will be inside the jacket instead of on top of it. (At least it does on the open lab coat I have on my villain)
In Medieval Helmets > Round. If you use any of the New Horns (i7) they halfway float in the air.
