I'm assuming this is a bug and not a feature request as it used to work like this and now doesn't (comes from the big 'official thread for costume issues'):

The inability to apply 2 types of pattern to pants now (top and bottom of) makes Pixel's pants impossible to make and Bobcat's can no longer have the white flames/orange background faded to white anymore (which looks a lot better than the plain orange on white IMO).

Please fix this.

1.) Icon window for selecting which costume you want to change does not allow you to move it. Every time you drag it somewhere, it snaps back to where it was.

2.) When logging into a costume sometimes icon changes your costumes to match other costumes, or something random. This causes you to have to pay for costume changes, even if you haven't changed anything. The reset button does not set it back to what it was.

3.) There are two tribal options on gloves, that are both exactly the same thing.

4.) The Vampire ears are clipping several face option pieces, Ninja Masks, Wings with Headband, and others. Please fix.

Unable to post screenie (able to send via e-mail, don't have a website and linkie thing), but I know that male/boots/zombie needs some fixing. Totally off-colour from the rest of the zombie costume pieces. Elsewhere the skin may be pale grey, the boots look they are pale peach.

The old suit is still gone. It disappeared, came back for a while, then disappeared again.

For females the skin tones between the head and the body don't match when using any top that doesn't cover the neck.

I'm at work, so I can't get a screenshot right now, but I'll post one when I get home.

Anyway, the swashbuckler hair clips when using the martial arts robe (actually, I think it clips with any tall collars). Also, the tucked in pants clip with the martial arts robe as well.

There's a big gap in the coolie hat. ok, maybe not that big, but big enough that my green hair shows thru.
I have the Feral face, Chiseled shape.
I quickly ran thru the faces at the tailor and saw that Demonic, Disfigured and Robotic all have the same problem. Other faces are OK.

Hood's clip with robes, and badly. The lower hood seems to clip the least if at all, but you'll notice the regular hood and the new thief hood definitely have clipping issues with robes (all robes that is).

Sorry, no screenshots, I'm lame.

- The dragon head (Monstrous/Beast 6) clips through everything at the base of the neck. And I do mean everything - front and rear.
- Glam hairstyle embeds itself in your shoulders. Could use a fix for that.

Jay, there has been a Full Mask missing from the game since it went live. The mask can best be described as "Hollowman-esque". It looked like medical gauze wrapped around the head. The only part of the face that could be seen were angry looking human eyes. This mask was in the creator that was available to mess with at the 2005 Wizard World and was also available in COV beta, but has never been available since the game hit live servers.

I believe this is actually intended - whatever face you currently have shows at the top of the list as "Face 1".. I've noticed this on every costume I've edited lately, and the character's current face is always Face 1. I think it is just so that you don't end up with some wild face when you load the editor, since they recently renamed/numbered alot of them. Might be nice if it was called "Current Face" rather than Face 1 though

Hopefully I am doing this right...

Under the accessories for helmets, you can have insect antennae or insect eyes but not both at the same time. I've always thought of this as a bug (no pun intended). I'd love to be able to have insect eyes and antennae simultanously with a helmet wearer.

Some of the faces I had chosen for my female characters have been removed in some of the patches (pre-I7 and I7), and it's really quite disconcerting to not be able to make any changes to their costumes to avoid losing their identities (i.e., faces). While this isn't exactly a bug ...

Recently I got to level 30 with my ice/em tanker, and when I went in to get her new costume, her entire head changed... her face has now been changed in the third costume - it is quite frustrating. Bring back the previous face selections, please, please, oh, very sexy Jay and Ian!

My gripe is minor(actually had to come up with one..and yes it's real) I really just wanted to say the Jay is sexy.

Ok now.

Male body with the new Thief Hood. If you have the Ventilator on him, tiny little part of the back of the Ventilator pokes out the back of the hood.

Jay is sexier than Ian......and Posi.

This is hard to describe and maybe a tad outside your area, but hopefully the screenshots make it easier.

Because I run in SG mode all the time, I want to deselect supergroup colors to see my costume as designed. However, costumes 1 and 2 seem to be cross-linked - meaning I cannot deselect SG colors in one without forcing them on in the other.

Here's costume 1 the way I like it:
Costume 1 - Correct

Then I switch to costume 2. Here's how it looks immediately, and I've drawn in arrows to show how I change it back to make it look the way I want.

Costume 2 - incorrect

So I make the changes indicated by those arrows. Then I change back to costume 1, and look how it's changed. (drawn in Xs show changed variables)

Costume 1 - incorrect

And of course if I change those again, costume 2 will be affected, on and on forever. Whereas if I leave one in the "altered" state, the other will be fine - it's not changing costumes itself that causes the problem.

Jay is sexy if he can fix this.

And here's a screenshot of motorcycle pants clipping during animation on a female. At the moment I have motorcycle boots underneath but the boot selection didn't seem to make the difference.

Bald heads! The tops dont line up with the back of the neck. Sorta looks like a helmet.

Regarding the male Spikey hair, there is also clipping above the ear on the other (right) side of the head (not shown in the screenshot).

I’ve noticed that the upper back of the jackets clips with the capes and can also cover up the brooches

Another thing I noticed is that the “open lab coat” clips with any tucked in pants option on the characters left side, this is even more annoying to see if you have design on the pants

Pant Clipping. For as long as I can remember, various pants have clipped, and still are.

Skirt Clipping. Some skirts clip with some jackes when moving and standing certain ways. It drove me to distraction and I changed colors to force them to match so I wouldn't constantly be noticing.

Some of the torso textures are not perfectly aligned over the side seam. Some are just totally out of whack.

All the 'complicated' textures like checker, circuitry, lines, cricles, chamo, and even dots (one is cut off by the seam) have these issues as well, but on a more obvious level. In this post I'm just focusing on the slightly weirdnesses that aren't immediately obvious.

Peak; "Pattern"s 2, 4, 5, and 6; and Stripe 1 are mildly janky on all body types.

Pattern 1, Lightning, and Fade Line are only misaligned on Female and Huge torsos.

Fade line on: male , female , huge

This may be owing to there being only one texture and it being slightly skewed on the other two models, as suggested by the fact that Lighting is seriously weird on Huge models.
