They tote that we will be getting the hard numbers on powers(sweet!)...and then they give us jack crap for information....

Do they consider these the hard numbers players want and need?

As huffington said they left out the important ones, Damage/Hold_Imm Duration/Magnitude/Def values Res values...all that other stuff

Damn I love this game, just Developers piss me off so much sometimes.

Please give us ALL the numbers on powers.

That said, I like this change. If things are really hitting the fan, I can replenish the minions over and over. The longer charge on the boss unit means focusing on keeping it alive, though, as a good tradeoff.

Played with it real quick

All Henchies in BG took a nasty AoE(I think) Nuke attack from a 41 Boss(i'm level 39) and I was standing afterwards.

Dropped down into yellow close to red health.

Initail reaction is it seems to work well, even with Henchies on Def/Follow the majority ofthe time things went down pretty quick.

Side note, the reduced recharge time on our tier 3 Upgrade is damn sweet, it charges almost as fast as the level 1 upgrade. 'Course now we's got's to slot that stuf for endurance reductions...

To add to this, it may be something like a Placate(interanly not where we go ivis or anything)...the more Henchmen you have out the less chance you have of even being seen by the mobs..

Things like AoE's would still affect you but nothign would really gun for you untill your meat bags start dropping.

Well...

If you try to target a MM in PvP, you can't untill x number of henchmen are dead....

That would help, well dur, by not being able to be attacked untill they eat through your henchemen instead of going right at you.

I think it has to do with whta crafting brings to the game for non crafters.

For instance, what are you crafting, a Buff suit of some sorts? Generally it's something that adds advantage to you or someone you could sell it to. It creats a must keep up with the Jones's type thing. It's not quite lewt but almost is.

Speaking of where do you get these materials? Lewt right? Ok well now we have to deal with lewt and the complications that can bring to a game.

If you want crafting to mean something, other than just fluff stuff to creat, then some lewt needs to ubar, that adds more complication to the lewt senario.

Now, if you want crafting for thigns like, special costumn pieces, hey that's cool, or even specail things for base that look pretty but do nothing sure. But that seems a like a boring crafting system to me.

In order to make it mean something other things need to be added, loot, which adds to more common place problems that affect most MMO's.
