I haven't played Broadsword in... let's call it a really long time. I want to say that when I last played it, it had the sound effects that War Mace uses. Nowadays it sounds more or less like the Katana sounds to me. Did they change it at some point or am I crazy/misremembering? (I rather prefer the current sounds.)

Masterminds share some power sets, such as Dark Miasma and Thermal Radiation, with other archetypes. Is there a specific scale used for the Mastermind powers, similar to http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Damage_Scale but for buff/debuff? For example, if a Defender heals for 100 with Twilight Grasp, the Mastermind of the same level and enhancements would have a scale x 100 for the final result?

I do know that certain things are already inherent, like Twilight Grasp having a smaller heal radius.

Main reason for this question is I love Dark Miasma, and have a lowbie Defender with it, and I am trying to figure out if the greater dark abilities of the Defender offset not having a pet line (when I find the secondary line of the Defender pretty useless).

If possible, the scale for Defenders, Masterminds, Controllers, and Corrupters would be much appreciated!

You might consider shield defense. Unlike most lines, it has a powerful AoE attack (with teleport). I've never played shield to the point that it gets that attack though, and they changed it with issue 18/GR, so I don't know if it's still really good. A friend of mine has a MA/shield scrapper and said the shield attack was his highest damage.

Do weapon brutes (like war mace or battle axe) presumably put away their weapons (and have to redraw them) when using patron powers? In particular, I have a mace brute and I wondered if he could keep out the same mace if I take Black Scorpion's line.

I figure I already know the answer but it couldn't hurt to check.

I have a kin/elec that I got to 20 over the weekend. I'm not sure I really like it. It's okay solo but doesn't do very well in groups. I realize the best powers are still some levels away, but I'm not sure I can wait that long.

I think I prefer my mace/elec who's also 20.

I was trying to log into Virtue this morning, about 6:30AM or 7:00AM Eastern, and I got an error about the dbserver. Does this mean the server is down?

I'm back in the game after a long absence. I had quit before you could choose colors for your powers. Is there a way to choose colors for epic/ancillary powers like scrapper darkness mastery? I didn't see this in the options at the tailor.

Can you just offer a way to disable the in-game e-mail entirely? I have never, ever used it.

I would like to see a fire mastermind, as well as a dark mastermind. (And dark controllers, for that matter.)

One of the other bad aspects of supporting these scum is that you encourage them to proliferate (i.e. to spam me more). Argh!

Under the accessories for helmets, you can have insect antennae or insect eyes but not both at the same time. I've always thought of this as a bug (no pun intended). I'd love to be able to have insect eyes and antennae simultanously with a helmet wearer.

Please fix mouselook (toggle). It turns off when you chat. This is a new bug as of issue 5.
