This assumes that there are not additional differences in the power itself, as with Twilight Grasp. However, its healing is according to this formula, it is only the radius that is unique.
To answer the underlying question, Dark Miasma is largely defensive debuffing in nature, mostly with -ToHit but also some -Dam, from Darkest Night. So it will be considerably stronger on a Defender or Corruptor. The healing will not be that much stronger, but has a much larger radius, as noted. Also, the Dark Servant has a much shorter recharge time, and so it can be out much more often. The Defender will also get the Dark Servant at 32 instead of 38. So, yes, it is much more powerful than a /Dark MM, although whether or not it would do more damage is not as clear. If you're having trouble with your Defender's damage, you should make a note to pick up Tar Patch. (It is a -Res)
Masterminds are the only ones that do not get a permanent Dark Servant out of the box. MM's version of Dark Servant must be slotted for 100% recharge before it is permanent.
Masterminds share some power sets, such as Dark Miasma and Thermal Radiation, with other archetypes. Is there a specific scale used for the Mastermind powers, similar to http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Damage_Scale but for buff/debuff? For example, if a Defender heals for 100 with Twilight Grasp, the Mastermind of the same level and enhancements would have a scale x 100 for the final result?
I do know that certain things are already inherent, like Twilight Grasp having a smaller heal radius.
Main reason for this question is I love Dark Miasma, and have a lowbie Defender with it, and I am trying to figure out if the greater dark abilities of the Defender offset not having a pet line (when I find the secondary line of the Defender pretty useless).
If possible, the scale for Defenders, Masterminds, Controllers, and Corrupters would be much appreciated!
