For females the skin tones between the head and the body don't match when using any top that doesn't cover the neck.

I'm sure the answer to this is probably somewhere in the 23 pages of this topic, but it's easier to just ask: Does Elec Melee do AoE knockDOWN or knockBACK with Thunderstrike and Lightning Rod? Assuming Thunderstrike even kept it's AoE component from the blaster version.

And the two power slots thing is going to hurt. Ive tried building Elec/Elecs before. No room for ANYTHING.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah I can see how it'll get pretty tight. I really dislike Aid Self so I'll probably try it out with no heal at all and lean more towards a scrapper playstyle on large teams rather than trying to take lots of aggro.
I was going to skip Elec Armor altogether before, but now that I can make one with my favorite travel power (Super Speed) and not get knocked down every half second I'll give it a shot. -

ok 1st dont wont to sound like i think elec armor need to be nurfed before it even comes...
am abit confused how ever
Charged Armor - Res to Smahing Lethal & Eng
Conductive Shield - Res to Fire, Cold, Eng, and N.Eng
Static Shield - Res to Sleep, Hold, Stun, End Drain, recovry debuffs, Teleport, and PSI
Grounded - Res to Imm, Knockback, Eng, And N.Eng
lighting reflexes - spd+ recharge+, and Res to Slow
now your saying whats your point? well unless there Resist number are really low witch they dont sound if the baces are really 26.25% witch will enh out to about 41% to everything but n.neg with would total out at 30% make them have 9%ish less S/L then invuln (full sloted autos and toggles) and 22% more to every thing else and 42% more psi (invuln also)
guess my point is that it looks like elec armor is master res to all
i could be totaly off on this but dont seam right there is no holes in it like other sets have
[/ QUOTE ]
I view the lack of a self heal in a set that also has no Defense as a major hole. You can somewhat cover that hole with Aid Self but that takes two power slots, 5 enhancement slots, and Aid Self has an extremely long animation time during which you can't attack anything. Slotting Interrupt reducers in it can keep you from being interrupted while healing, but won't do a thing about the animation time. -

The Robot Heavies seem to (sometimes) have a mind of their own? I had one last night and it proceeded to trudge across the zone (towards what I don't know) and I was giving it commands to 1) Stay, 2) Follow and 3) attack my target.
It seemed to ignore all of those commands. Perhaps some indication of what the heavy is up to might be needed. Such as, going to point bravo, or attacking $target.
They still look cool even though mine was dumb as a stump.
[/ QUOTE ]
When I finally managed to get my hands on one of the robots (around 5 am) it seemed to follow my commands well enough. There was one time though, when I got pretty far ahead of it and it suddenly started off in a different direction randomly. This could just be part of the general problem with the pet AI on Test currently though. When I was on my mastermind and teamed with another mastermind we both had major problems controlling our pets. I've seen plenty of other MMs reporting the same.

I'll add my vote to the general consensus that Night Widows suck. Was running Sirens Call missions last night on my 23 tank on Rugged and ran into a +1 Night Widow boss at the end of a mission. We then proceeded to spend more than 15 minutes trying to kill each other. During the entire fight there was never a time when I didn't have the Smoke Grenade icon in my bar. On the rare occasions when she wasn't completely invisible my attacks (1 slotted with one Acc SO, 1 slotted with 2 Acc) could not hit her often enough to move her life bar more than a fraction. Fortunately between Stone Skin, Rock Armor, the combined regen of Rooted and Health, plus the occasional use of my self heal, she couldn't really hurt me either.
Couldn't get any help at 5am so I ended up leaving the mission to hit a contact in Steel for inspirations and finally managed to kill her off. All in all one of the most irritating experiences I've had in a long time. Really wish the Night Widows would get the current blaster version of Smoke Grenade.
Giving them the old Uber bugged version of Smoke Grenade is the wrong way to try to add challenge to the game in my opinion. I don't mind bosses that are hard because they can take or dish out a lot of damage, but nothing in this game is more irritating than missing or standing around twiddling your thumbs until the Widow fades back into view. -

I guess it depends on what you're playing. I got to 40th with my stalker, solo'ing missions against Longbow in Warburg. I thought they were pretty damn easy even on the 4th diff setting. Longbow is easy because...
- No caltrops
- No debuffing powers
- No pet summoning
- No particular resistances to anything
- No healing other than some bosses
- No holds, imob, or sleep other than the rare stun or web gernade
- No phase shifting or teleporting
- No self rez'ing
Hmm, maybe I'm missing something, but I think they're the easiest fraction in the game at all levels. Arachnos are way more dangerous, especially the Crab Tankers that have Lethal Resistance. You can AS them with your claws, but that just seems to make them mad.
[/ QUOTE ]
Geez, where are you finding these wimpy Longbow? The ones I've fought have sonic debuffers, sappers, bosses that summon Phantasms or Singularities, and so many stuns that if you lack mez protection you might as well just read a book for the duration of each fight. -
[ QUOTE ]
So, devs, any reason that these guys are so absurdly powerful, and Arachnos is so very weak?
[/ QUOTE ]
While I completely agree about the Longbow being overpowered, I would like to point out that Arachnos isn't all that weak at 40+ either. Ever taken notice of those nifty smoke grenades the Night Widows get (at least I think they come from the Night Widows)? On large team spawns I've counted more than 8 Smoke Grenade debuffs stacked on my corrupter but even just one is enough to completely remove you from the fight if you don't have +perception. They last a really long time and while they're active all you see in front of you is an empty hallway. -
The main problem I see isn't with the overall accuracy, but with missing streaks. What'd be really nice is if the streak breaker adjusted to match how much accuracy you have. If you're slotted enough to be capped against what you're currently fighting (meaning you only have that unavoidable 5% chance to miss) then the streak breaker should not allow you to miss more than once, maybe twice in a row. No idea what kind of coding would be involved in that, so it may be impossible to impliment, but I can dream can't I

Someone I know and trust in game, described how he maniupulated a set of people, such that 3 evenyl balananced teams went after a GM (was about 18 people in total).
I believe the figure is 25% but there is no official source on that.
All got the badge.

And as much as I hate doing this, especially since the Knowledge Base doesn't include it (although it almost mentions it in the Jurassik entry). Here's my nice reply from Support on this issue.

- When fighting these villains you must be within a close proximity receive your reward. This pertains to both teamed and solo players.
- You or your team must do the majority of damage to these monsters, and be present for the entire fight in order to earn the reward.
- If you lose connection during a fight, any damage done will be reset and you will not receive the reward.

[/ QUOTE ]
Actually CuppaJo posted the same thing about the majority of the damage a while back, but despite that, quite a few people including me have seen two teams get the badge for giant monsters, even with one team clearly doing less damage than the other. -

We're all still missing the key issue here: Stuffed shoulder kittens.
Best costume option ever? I say yes.

Actually, I think the shoulder-Pandas are cooler.

*Hopes for sholder-baby dragons*

Umm... if I ask nicely enough... with that sad, lost puppy dog face... could I get a shoulder monkey? Pretty please? <sad lost puppy dog face>
Even if it is only for girls? Id be willing to roll a chick Hero just so I could have a monkey on my shoulder. Honest. Pretty please? <sad lost puppy dog face>

I hope the guys can get em too. I want to make a 7ft hulking barbarian axe tanker with a little kitten on his shoulder... -

all these changes did is Cause people to herd other things. It DID NOTHING to stop power lvling at all. If they were serious the best way would be to change PI and/or Portals to need lvl 40 to enter. Problem solved.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't really care too much about the issue at hand but I would like to say I really dislike your suggestion. Both my scrapper and my tank started hunting occasionally in PI as early as lvl 36. Also in my super group we do a LOT of sidekicking. It's not unusual to have a team consisting of 3 or four 40+ chars and 3-4 SKs in the teens and twenties doing missions. Since most of the missions from 45-50 are in PI or portals banning SKs from those areas would really screw things up and take away a lot of the fun that can be had with an 8 person supergroup team. -
Alptraum level 50 Broad Sword/Regen scrapper
-
I rolled a BS/Regen scrapper yesterday. He's currently at lvl 7 and got there street hunting mostly. Despite increased xp with the additional difficulty missions still aren't worth doing. The downtime alone is incredibly annoying. I've been doing a mission for the past hour. I've got to take a break and browse the boards for a few minutes after every group of enemies while my health comes back, this is only made worse because there are more enemies in the mission now. Let's not forget the nifty new drug labs I have to destroy in the mission. The ones that explode with enough force to knock off half my life bar and with no ranged attack I just have to accept that damage meaning more downtime
Got to the end and found a freindly red Skull Daddy, died twice and said "Screw it". Sure I could probably take him if I stocked up on insp. but the xp I'd get just isn't worth the run to a contact so I guess it's back to street hunting. I don't really like to complain and this isn't going to cause me to quit or anything but if the devs intention is to encourage people to do missions they screwed up big time. I wouldn't mind these changes in missions lvl 20+ but at low levels they're just stupid.
P.S. I also find myself rather sceptical about claims that this is a bug that's being fixed. We seem to hear that a lot lately about changes to the game that turn out to be unpopular and I tend to think that at least some of the time it's just an easy excuse.
