As a dominator, with an cone that does ~30 damage, Chum is very fitting. The spray part is from return attacks.

We know what chum is. You know what bile is? It's a fat emulsifier. It helps lipids dissolve in water in the intestines. It's not any more accurate... and about 300 times less cool.

No you'll probably just see the Mako logo (the one on his statue) glowing on your chest or something. At least that's what it looked like in the I7 preview with a supposed Black Scorpion shield (the hourglass looking thing.)
Anyway, does anyone know if Captain Mako's first mission impacts your "path" in any way if you fail it or pass it? or does he give you the same set of missions regaurdless?
I failed it and I got a "get the file from longbow" mission after. Anybody else?

I can't remember and my screen shots of all of the mission orders, instructions, etc are all messed up.
It would be nice though if the arcs were indeed a little dynamic and not so linear.
"Get the file..." doesn't sound familiar though.
While I had LBs, most of the arc I had dealt with taking down Ace McKnight (MA/SR scrapper). He is a +2 EB on solo relentless.

He came close to 1 shotting me when i was running overlaod (so i had 1000 more HP then non overload running brutes would have)

I agree...he is a bad, bad man...but WOW that much damage and through Overload???
His opening Crane Kick connected to my chin for +950!
I'll save everyone the drama, but he went Elude at about 1/4 HP remaining.
I went Overload about 20 seconds later, and of course, he crashed first.
He couldn't do anything for the last 15-20 seconds. He couldn't even run.
I finished him off just before I crashed myself.
He was the most challenging (and fun at the same time) EB to date for me.

Alrighty, almost lvl 41, I hope I don't have to do any missions in Grandeville to get that first power.
I'm gonna test out the first power in the brute line, not touching that immob power.
Anybody recieve any bugged missions from Capt. Mako?
I got him as my patron but I haven't taken his missions yet, the first one is a timed mission and I know that would be instant failure if I took it because of the mission bug.
The actual mission bug (you get stuck outside of the mission map inside the mission) starts after the first half. After you get the accolade.
But man, I can't continue the arc.. I was getting into the story too!
That timed mission has 2 wardens holding 1 hostage each and an Elite Boss (longbow) right in the middle of it.
yeah! just hit 41, gonna hope that they let me choose a patron power, I seriously doubt it though.
Alright i'm stuck, what do I have to do to unlock the pool? Prob have to finish the arc but that mission bug in grandville is screwing me I'll figure out something.
Edit: I have an idea but its gonna be pretty boring. I'm gonna have to find a team of ppl to do the missions for me while I wait outside... Bah.
What mission bug in Grandville? The mission bug I have is in Sharkhead. I think it's because it's an all new CoT type mission.
Whenever I attempt to zone from warburg to another zone my client crashes. It could be to a mission, from grand to St. Martial, Nerva, or even RV.
I can't test the pool unless I unlock it
Well you can't unlock the Capt. Mako's story arc because apparently the first mission of the second half is broken.
Guess I'll go sleep then, theres nothing I can do other than grinding out another level, and I really don't wanna do that without having my spirit shark on hand 
I agree. Well, at least ONE Patron Power.
I hope they fix this by tomorrow so the minority who did pick Mako WILL get to finish the Patron arc.
