So if you could do Really Exact testing on the resistance in something like 5-10 minutes (according to how long it took to find a sutable enemy) why bother with going into RV and trying to get the numbers from there?
-
Possibly stupid questions:
With the armor restaince couldn't you just go into an arena with someone with the resteted types of attacks and have them shot at you with the armor off and then with it on? I might be missing something but if all the boasts stay the same between (i.e. if using the same toggles and inspritations) the two attacks the difference should be coming from the armor only.
I could be completely missing something though. -
Odd that you would unlock an epic AT. The Kheldians are the only epic ATs at the moment and we were told that villians hitting 50 wouldn't unlock them (although I wouldn't mind it sence I see my MM hit 50 long before my blaster). Its possible they just copy and pasted the code for a hero hitting 50 for villians.
Oh yeah and gratz on 50 (have fun doing it again on live). -
The plaques for some reason do not ready -Jump on the web Grenades (possibliy another oversight)

Ok sorry that was a mistype should be: Immoblize, -Recharge, -Fly.

* Foe -ACC
* Range: 80
* END: 11
* Recharge: 12 secs

First, it appears END values are being rounded.

I doubt the plaque info on End has been round sence the MM inof as several of the powers giving to the second decimal. As for the equations you used we have no clue if this is the correct equations. Sence this is the first time that the devs have given us numbers on the powers the old equations have been baised off of observation and thus could be completely different from what the devs implented.
This is another problem with the devs giving us numbers on anything is that the wrong equations will give us the wrong interpations. Prehapes after the dust settles and people starting getting in game numbers on the powers we will be able to combine the two and get the correct equations. -
Yes it is an AoE that is why the power says (Explosion) after the range. This is all the plaque in Grandville gives.
-
However the plaques for the other three PPPs say you only need one power (a possible typo?). GW's plaque is the only MM info that follows the normal two tier 1, one tier 2, one tier 3 power thing.
-
Problem with skipping all but the hold for MMs is that they are the last power in the set. Hopefully the "numbers" are deceptive.

Typo on the last hold as in Mu and Levithan. If I find out whats up with them from one of the Red Names I'll change accordingly. -

Odd thing I saw was that the final listed power says you only need one other power, geussing this is a typo. If a red name would let me know that would be great.(end Office Space refrence) -
IMO the use of Pulling or Herding depends heavily on the group. If the group contans only squishes use pulling. If the group has a couple of insane Tanks/Brute and a healer that can keep them standing plus allot of AoE Herding is the way to go.
Personally I think both tatics should be taught to low levels (i.e. run Sewers in CoH and show the low levels both types).
Good thing to not: TP Foe is by far the best Pulling tool I've found. Unless the enemy's path would go right past another enemy you get only the pulled enemy agroed. -
Thanks for all the updates and help you give us in all parts of the forum Cuppa
