Uplink_OoT did a great job a while back, compiling a list of Hamidon Enhancements.
What I'd like to do is put together a list of which powers the more 'Exotic' HO's can help. I want to be able to tell people "'X' HO affects these powers ...". Help fill in the list with whatever you can.

Easy ones:
Nucleolus Exposure - Damage and Accuracy:
-Too many to list. If you don’t know what can use this, you shouldn’t have bought the account. ;-)

There're relatively few powers in controller sets that buff or debuff accuracy or defense.

Quicksand: Defense Debuff. Don't think there's an accuracy check on this one, so it's only really a candidate for Enzyme.

Smoke: Accuracy Debuff with accuracy and endurance. Lysosome or Enzyme.

Superior Invisibility: Self Def buff with recharge and end (but possibly not meaningfully so). Maybe a candidate for membrane or cyto.

Group Invisibility: Team Def buff with recharge and end. Membrane or cyto.

Spectral Terror: Accuracy Debuff (I think!) with accuracy and endurance. Lysome or Enzyme

Terrify: Accuracy Debuff (minor) with accuracy and endurance. Lysome or Enzyme.

The list is coming along nicely, but there are still a few that were left out. Storm powers and sonics were covered by the above poster. Some powersets are left off completely, which is not really a bad thing. Fire armor, Stone armor, Ice armor, etc can use Ribos (not Ice) and Cytos (not Fire) but you list out Invuln and SR.



Dark Armor/Melee scrapper powers have been ignored.

Endoplasm: Cloak of Fear, Oppresive Gloom, Touch of Fear
Enzyme: Cloak of Fear
Golgi: Dark Regeneration (Siphon Life too... but does anyone take it? YMMV)
Membrane: Soul Drain
Lysosome: Cloak of Fear (I think Endo's and Enzmes are better for the slotting though.)

And I dont even play a dark...

Please keep in mind that nothing is being 'left out' or 'ignored'. Anything not listed yet simply has not had someone speak up for it. As soon as someone with experience in those AT's pops in and speaks up, they can get posted.

For the final version, you may want to think about formatting the list a little differently. It is getting kind of hard to read and sort through. Using Colors or different spacing might help. Also, some footnotes to explain:
(1) some HO's may be able to be used in some powers, but would probably be a waste, since one or more of the aspects being enhanced are usually considered to not need enhancement.
(2) Uses only two of the three attributes.

A couple of small corrections I just noticed:

Endoplasm, Defender - Radiation Blast - EM Pulse, should be
Defender/Controller - Radiation Emission - EM Pulse

Also, add "Radiation Emission" to the entry for "Radiation Infection" under Enzyme.

You might want to make a note under Centriole that the range portion of melee attacks cannot be increased. For example, Impale from the spines set is classified as melee, even though it has a range. A Centriole in that power will only boost the damage, not its range.

This is in error. Only the to-hit debuff and accuracy of the Lysosome is functional in Smoke Grenade. Smoke Grenade has no -DEF component, only -ACC (and the -PER, but that doesn't really matter since it self-suppresses and also suppresses other -PER powers the user might have).

I got playing my WS seriously again today....and Shadow Cloak recharges much less quickly than I had remembered (read hallucinated). So slotting for DefBuff and Recharge is actually a good combination.

Are you sure about this because impale takes range enhancements. I haven't tried slotting a range enhancement, but it sure seems screwy for them to allow the slotting of range in impale if it does nothing. This wouldn't be the first power where an allowed enhancement did almost no good though.

If Impale takes range enhancements, I may be wrong about that specific power. I remember something about all tank/scrapper attacks being classified as melee, whether they have a 20 foot or 5 foot range (though I could be wrong on that). There's this post by Castle, which confirms my general statement. Impale and other powers like it (hurl, hurl boulder) may be exceptions, but I'd like independent confirmation of that.

Recent additions of centrioles to my Claws scrapper's Focus says both range and damage are being increased assuming both my in game perception of the range and the management screens reported +% increases to the range portion are correct.

Slotting a dam/mez into Eagle's Claw boosts its disorient, but according to the enh screen it also boosts the hold, immob, sleep aspects... even though it only has disorient, and will never hold, immob, or sleep a mob. The fact that it says it's boosting range on the enhancement screen merely is a reflection of the fact that you have a range-boosting enhancement slotted in the power. Technically, you could slot a centriole into any melee power, since melee powers take damage enhancements, and it would tell you that you're boosting the range. But you aren't, because melee powers' ranges cannot be boosted. Impale, hurl, hurl boulder and focus may, as I said, be exceptions. I somehow doubt it though.

I can say for sure that Hurl takes range enhancements - I have 2 Centrioles slotted & can notice the difference.

Unslotted it has a range of 40 - with 2 range enhancements (or 2 centrioles) at even lvl it gets boosted to 56. Easy to notice the difference when using the power on a regular basis.

I think what the devs are changing is the fact that some melee powers were being affected by the range portion of Centrioles even though they do not accept range enhancements - Hurl accepts regular range enhancements.

Okay, yeah, I think you might be right. If it can take Range SO's, it will be affected by a Centriole. However, my point still stands. Melee attacks, even though a Centriole can be slotted in them, will not be affected (spine burst and dragon's tail to be ones to watch out for then, since they're aoe, people might think you can increase their range).

Perhaps even a general note saying that if a power does not list being able to use an attribute from a Hami enh, it will not be affected by that part of the Hami enh. Of course, then there's the exception of tohit buffs and debuffs acting like each other and defense buffs and debuffs acting like each other.

Does Impale (and Hurl, etc...) take Range Enhancements? If it does, then it (the HO) is using both parts .. If you cannot normally slot it for Range, then the Range part of the HO should have no effect.

What I'd like to do is put together a list of which powers the more 'Exotic' HO's can help. I want to be able to tell people "'X' HO affects these powers ...". Help fill in the list with whatever you can.
