The PM I recieved from Castle today confirms the general statement - though it is correct that if an attack can accept a range SO, it will be affected by a Centriole.

What I was remembering was that these powers are all on the Melee damage table. I mistakenly assumed that since they are on that table, no range enhancers would affect them, and that they were also classified as melee when calculating defense - that is not the case. Some melee damage table attacks accept range (Impale, Laser Beam Eyes, etc) and some do not. Some are classified as melee, some are classified as ranged, and some are AoE in terms of defense, but they are all on the melee damage table.

The note is perfect regarding centrioles.

Confirmed .. it does NOT accept to-hit Debuffs.

Uplink_OoT did a great job a while back, compiling a list of Hamidon Enhancements.
What I'd like to do is put together a list of which powers the more 'Exotic' HO's can help. I want to be able to tell people "'X' HO affects these powers ...". Help fill in the list with whatever you can.

Easy ones:
Nucleolus Exposure - Damage and Accuracy:
-Too many to list. If you don’t know what can use this, you shouldn’t have bought the account. ;-)

Centriole Exposure - Damage and Range:
-See above. (Note - the range portion of some melee attacks cannot be increased, even though they may affect a larger than normal range. Be sure the power normally accepts Range + Damage enhancements before slotting this)

Just checked again, aned there seems to be some confusion over what powers fall into Radiation Blast Vs. Radiation Emission, such as: -Defender - Radiation Blast - EM Pulse which you seem to have fixed, but for future reference....

Emission:
Radiant Aura
Radiation Infection
Accelerate Metabolism
Enervating Field
Choking Cloud
Lingering Radiation
Mutation
EM Pulse
Fallout


Blast:
Neutrino Bolt
X-Ray Beam
Irradiate
Electron Haze

as for Tanks... I have an Ice Tank up to level 32. not able to use any Hammis yet, but I do know the properties of many of the powers, so here goes....

Ice Armor

Cytoskeleton Exposure: Can be used in Frozen Armor and Glacial Armor. Uses the Defense Buff and End redux aspects.
Can technically be used in Energy Absorption, but since it is a power used to give you endurance, the end redux isn't terribly worth it, and it doesn't use the to-hit aspect.

Golgi Exposure: Can be used in Hoarfrost (it's a self heal/HP boost like Dull Pain)

Nucleolus Exposure: Icicles

Membrane Exposure: Can be used in Energy Absorption, which will use the Recharge and Defense aspects.
Can technically be used in Frozen Armor and Glacial Armor... But they are not really worth slotting for recharge.


My tank has Fire as a secondary. Fire is pretty straight forward, there are no secondary effects, no knockback, no mezzing, it's pure damage, so acc/dam can be used in all of them, and that's about it. And there's buildup, the same as Buildup in any other set.

Endoplasm (Accuracy/mez): Thunderclap

Lysosome corrections: Hurricane and Tornado are both auto-hit and don't need the accuracy part of this

Cytoskeleton: Steamy Mist (though the benefit from slotting defense is almost nil, it can be slotted with end-red and defense buffs)

Peroxisome: Tornado can use damage and mez for disorient duration

There are a huge number of controller powers that need to be added to Peroxisome and Endoplasm. Most sets have a single target immobilize that does damage and needs accuracy. Most sets have a single target hold that can use both. Many of the sets have an AoE immobilize that does some damage and definitely needs accuracy (most have a -20% acc penalty). Some sets have an AoE hold that need accuracy, and may do some damage.

For example, you need to add under both: Stone Prison, Fossilize, Stone Cages and Stalagmites from Earth Control, and Ring of Fire, Char, Fire Cages and Flashfire from Fire Control. Those are off the top of my head, but there are others as well.

Also, Earth Control's Quicksand does not take Defense Debuff enhancements. The Defense Debuff of 20% is not enhancible.

I don't have time now, but I will try to take a look later.

Combat jumping? Sure - I'll add it - but adding the disclaimer that it's not recommeded (since it gives very little defense and uses little End) ;-)

Dark Amor->Cloak of darkness takes Defence buff, End reduction, and recharge reduction enhancements. That makes both cytos and membranes use 2 of 3 aspects of their boosts.

Note: none of the 3 aspects of this power is all that great, and the initial (unenhanced) costs/buffs are weak.

From shirksilver's character builder: end cost 0.24, def 3.75%, and recharge 20 seconds.

I asked the Controller Forum for their Input, and did not get many replies - and since I don't have all those AT's, I can't contribute any information.

Personally, I'm not incredibly concerned with the Acc/mez or Dama/mez enhancers, unless they are things people might not know about. I've listed what has been provided - but I'll have to count on Generic Game Knowledge to fill in what hasn't been provided.
