That's stupid...They asked what we wanted, and this was a phenomenally popular idea. Still is. If they don't want to listen to us, we don't need to purchase new content. Or even play, depending how egregious it gets.

There might be an incarnate Trial for a Moon Base zone also a new regular trial like a Gaunlet style trial
I know it's stupid to hope but they're taking polls for retro space suits, maybe that means they are finally working on the Moon Zone.

I can get behind this, though I can see a lot of Archetypes and Powersets being banned due to the knock back issues.
It would also open up the potential for another non-praetoria based incarnate area and other content. Even then, Battle Maiden hit Steel Canyon from the upper atmosphere, who's to say that there wasn't another detachment of troops sent to the moon?

First - If they never intended to make a Moon Zone then it should never have been an option on the survey.
Second - If there is a reason why the zone that was voted the players choice for what we wanted could not be added to the game, then tell us what it is. I know I've never heard anything official, or any players claiming they heard anything.

If BaBs could take 2 minutes out of his busy schedule to tell us that an Underwater Zone would take far too much time and resources to create and ultimately look crappy, then someone at PS could give us a response on the Moon zone.
Even something along the lines of what we were told about Power Customization would have been appreciated.
It took a long time before dual pistols became an option.
Same for shields.
Same for Demon Summoning.
Same for Power/Color Customization.
Same for Titan Weapons.
Next up is Staff Fighting.
So I would hope at some point a Moon Zone would become MMO reality.
Sadly, though, I suspect we'll see another often-requested item before then...

In short, no, the devs do not owe us any kind of explanation for the lack of a Moon Zone. This is the silliest entitlement I've seen on the forum in quite some time.

For all you know, the dev that was spearheading the thing left the company. Or it was Posi's pet project (Statesman's? whoever was in charge at the time) and got back-burnered when War Witch took over, or whoever the hell is even running the show now.
I don't disagree that it would have been neat to get a dev comment over the years (P.S. can you explicitly prove that they never have?), but they have no obligation to do so, and it's also really not that big a deal in the grand scheme of the game compared to their philosophy of letting some bad nearly-game-breaking bugs get pushed to live.
As for why they're not saying anything now, perhaps they have a reason for keeping mum, and perhaps you will feel somewhat silly when that reason becomes evident. Perhaps.
