What is it with the Cryptic turnover rate? *sigh* Another Red Name going away... Stay safe out there Arctic_Sun!
It's actually mostly people with NCsoft who are leaving or being re-assigned. I have a hunch that the company is moving people over to Auto Assault since it's their next big title gearing up for release. Could be wrong, though, since everyone is deliberately coy about where they are heading off to.
AFAIK, Zeb Cook is the only notable dev to leave Cryptic recently.

What a great City this is. I have been thrilled to hang out with you in Atlas Park and Galaxy City, patrol the chrome towers and glass canyons, and be ever wary for the dastards from the Rogue Isles.
Yet I am needed elsewhere at the moment. It has been an exciting time, these past months, serving as Manticores stalwart assistant, CuppaJos partner, Awrys archnemesis.
Im off for other projects, and Im entrusting Awry to continue to narrate the story of Paragon and her heroes. Yes, Awry is technically a villain, but I know theres more than a sliver of gold in her dark heart. Shell do you proud and be sure to treat her nice.
You guys have been a helluva lot of fun to work for and with. Tough on occasion, but more than fair. It has been a real trip to delight and entertain you. This is certainly one of the greatest communities Ive been a part of, and you folks are truly the reason we make these games. Be good, and have fun.
I dont imagine Ill ever be very far from the City I have too many friends here.
