<.< what would be nice is if they had something in Cincinati, Louisville or indianapolis.. somewhere where I could hop over to visit..

o.o course, then I would have a problem on who to get to sign what? a coffie mug signed by Cuppa, my cape by Alexa or Awry..

<.< maybe should get second cape... hunm.. o.o but what about Artic_Sun?!? >.> it would be a difficult choice... not that any of this sort of thing is ever going to happen anywhere but on one of the coasts -.-

[/ QUOTE ]

Jerk!! I've always wanted one of those capes Can you buy them at the store... ?

[/ QUOTE ]

o.o you can from the manufacturer... ebay has a bunch too. NCSoft sent special "packages" for CoV to stores, Legionofcatgirls sibling store is a rl game relator so we got a few of them.. comes with a messload of arachnos buttons.. cape... BIIIGGG poster.. and several special beta discs with odd helmets o.o

If I lived near Austin I'd totally go and pretend I was someone else. Like Anti-Catwhoorg or LiquidX or something, (maybe that Puffyshirt guy I hear mentioned every once in a while).

How would anyone else know the difference? I'm tempted to go just to sew confusion and mayhem! Bwaahahahaaha!

[/ QUOTE ]

You could always tell em you're Troy Hickman

[/ QUOTE ]

Why would anyone want to do that?!

[/ QUOTE ]

It wouldn't work anyway. You can fake my name, but you can't fake the pants...

Troy Hickman - So proud to have contributed to and played in this wonderful CoH universe

I was saddened to hear this was in Austin.
I was extra sad to hear of a similar location in New York, just a state away, but this location didn't have plans for a similar event.
Ah, well...

One thing at a time....

Hey, I got a red name to reply to my post, even if I've never seen or heard of him before.
Though, as usual, they are being very cryptic with their messages. Ah, well... gives me hope.

How about Philly? I missed States when he was at Showcase Comics. Made a wrong turn and ended up on the other side of Villanova University. (T_T)

Love you guys, but Texas -- really. Texas.

I was in Dallas for conference last year; gotta admit, it wasn't the most exciting destination I've ever been to. At least the hotel had a wireless network.

I would so like to go to one of these. night classes makes it harsh and Austin is a little too far for me. Dallas I could maybe drive to. It would take me al day though. Come to St. Loius. Ill ditch class.

I am! At least, 90% sure I am.. things could always change.

And Tampa/Orlando is voted, my Aunt lives in Clearwater, so I'll have an excuse to go

It has been confirmed in PM's that NCSoft will have some sort of presence at Origins.

As for Cryptic ? I'm not sure.

I'm plannign on being there again this year so once word leaks out, that expect lots of discounts as they try to make up the drop in numbers.

Wha--- who confirmed this?? I've talked to several Rednames, and they said "probably, wait for the official schedule to be finished". Who are you talking to?

Posted

Twas the Cuppa, but I checked the PM - and yeah there was a 'subject to change' comment in there.

/em waits for official schedule to be truly finalised.

/em holds hands up - my mistake folks - carry on.

And we want piccies from Austin.

Heh... seconded. Who cares if they don't have offices here? We'll rotate the meet-n-greet around all the breweries in the area. Wholesome family fun, iron city style. Might hit a coffeehouse or 2 for cuppa's sake...

Schedule it soon and you can partake in the championship festivities...

aw, who am I kidding, you'll STILL find people on the streets celebrating our LAST super bowl victory, (that one loss since then? bad hangover- never happened) so you don't really have to be too quick in scheduling it.

Just curious, why have it on a Thursday????

I can't come thanks to college classes. (I'm taking 18 hours this semester...ugh. I can hardly make it to Paragon during the week.)

If anyone in San Antonio is going maybe we can carpool together to save on gas

Austin is to Dallas like Berkeley is to, um, Bakersfield.

Seriously.

Dallas/Fort Worth is HUGE, but kinda... meh.

Austin on the other hand is a fun place.

As for the commutes... hehe...

Texas recently legalized lane-splitting for motorcyclists.

I have three years navigating traffic jams in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I can cut an hour and fifteen minute plod to 40 minutes. That's 25 miles.

Austin will NOT be an issue when I move there later this spring. (Yah, made my mind up, that's where the Prof is gonna end up.)

Just wanted to say everyone bring your CoH CCG decks - We'll have some around for door prizes too - We'll be playing at CyberJocks or at a coffee shop nearby.

In Austin you can't throw a rock without hitting a place without a free wi-fi hotspot. They have free wi-fi the big park, the Dairy Queen, and the McDonalds down the street from my office just added it.

Don't know what cave you live in man. If you didn't know, Austin is the new silicon valley. Hell, Austin is where the PS3 Cell chip is being researched/invented.
