2. You can get beacons for any zone as long you collect all badges in each zone in sg mode
[/ QUOTE ]
The confusion lays betwee CoH and CoV. You are correct that in CoV every zone has a beacon, but in CoH that's not the case.
[/ QUOTE ]
Good question...but I will try to get the beacons with my toons ( I have form lvl 1 to 38) and will get back to you

Positron stated a while back in a thread that the 5 hour badges are cumulative, loging out, zoning, taking missions, etc don't reset the clock or atleast aren't supposed to. Basically if you don't have em after 5 cumulative hours /bug it.
EDIT: D'oh it was Lord Recluse who said it right here.
Why can't I have Bug Finder?

Will the Alkaloid or rez power from the Master Mind Poison set ever start giving credit for the healing badges or the super group healing badge again?
[/ QUOTE ]
Er. They do give credit.
My 39 Ninja/Poison Mastermind has the first two healing badges. Alkaloid is his only heal- the only possible way he could've received it. And he just received the second one, "Doc", recently.
So Alkaloid, at the very least, gives credit. I don't know for certain if Elixir of Life does so.

Because it doesn't exist.

It ought to. Ressurection powers are the best way to rack up healing credit. Anything that you or your pets do to make green numbers float over someone else's head counts towards your healing badge. The tally is not linked to specific powers, so if there was a temp power that healed others, it would count as well.
If you're finding your progress is slow, it's because only actual healed damage counts. If your target takes 80 points of damage and you toss him a 300 point heal, you only get 80 points towards your badge.

Positron can you please tell me what this badge is here , it has been nagging me because I can not figure it out. Currently have 193 badges on my villain and this unknown popped up underneath trailblazers spot. Problem is the only badges underneath trailblazer are the Croatoa badges and it has been there for a couple weeks now.
caged is a held badge Bird
oh wait!..maybe thats not the one you asking about
Ok, this is a little weird to me. My MM has started to get his healing badge, and he has no healing powers. I know you can get it by healing henchmen, but the only thing I've ever done to them was maybe give one a respite. He's a Merc/Traps MM, just started him. Am I missing something?

I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but you can in fact get your healing badges by feeding your henchies heal inspirations.

I'm sorry Positron, but your logic is slightly flawed. If a level 48 character has expended all of their missions/contacts, then why exactly is it wrong for them to want to do pvp missions to go from 48 to 50 and at 50 you cannot currently get random missions aside from shadowshard so why not let them do pvp missions too? If the intent of the I7 pvp zone is not to have a level 50 zone, then *waves fists in fury* at the fact that the devs still have provided NOTHING for max level characters to actually do. Rethink what you've said from the context I just mentioned. (BTW even at 45 it is their toon. They can go to shadowshard and stay there until 50 so why not if they so choose allow them to stay in recluse when it is live?)
Monkey see, Monkey do. Poop on me, and I'll poop on you.
Yeah, this is probably what's happening, because I don't have my medic henchman yet.

Following this same topic, does the Triangle Beacon count toward the healing badges (or is it too much of a stretch)?

Will they ever award badges to characters that were made around launch who missed out on mission badges because of bugs?
Because as it is they said mission badges were known issues and refused to award them on those grounds. So either we had to NOT play or hope that they fixed em before we outleveled them (I'm looking at you Dr. percy's mask maker badge).
Anyway to get those for us?
Well if you're on Guardian, I have the Facemaker badge mission available if you want in

Dear Positron,
I did a respec trial but got no badge for it. Here are the conditions:
1) Lvl 50 Tanker (my first mistake ).
2) I have done the Rikti Crash site respec and gained a respec I have not used. It is also the first Respec TF I have ever done.
3) For that mission I received the Stalwart Medallion (YES I am sure I have triple checked it.)
4) Participated in the Founder's Falls level 34 respec with Captain James Harlan.
5) At the end of the mission I choose to get the SO and not respec since I had one respec already.
Here are my questions:
1) Why did I not get the a respec badge for that mission - was it becasue I did not choose the respec?
2) Are my badges now out of order and I am incapable of getting them?
3) Will I now loose a respec cause I chose a SO award and when I did the Trial. This is important cause I only get three and I have only choosen respec as an award once so far.
Any answers or links to threads with the answers is appreciated.
Thank-you.

Supposedly, you get the accolade when you finally see James Wolfe in Galaxy, it sort of completes the story.
You'll get all three accolades when you do all 3 respecs, regardless of order.
The first respec tf you do gets you stalwart, the second respec tf you do gets you the statesman star, the third gets you the freedom cross. This is the order of issuance, regardless of which tfs you choose to do first.
You picked an SO instead of the respec the first time, no problem, you still have 3 respecs that you can earn. Mind you, you should probably take the respecs, as earned respecs can and do stack. That is, on one of my toons, I have all three earned respecs available to use whenever I wish. As far as I know, they will never take those away. And it's nice, because it's on an issue 4 fire/fire tank who may need all three eventually.
And, I wasn't sure if you knew, but you can do the respec tf and complete successfully as many times as you wish. But you only can earn 3 respecs. At level 50, if the 34-43 out of FF is your favorite, you can do all three of those, and your badge list should read the same as if you'd done the 24-33, 34-43, 44-50. And you can choose not to take the respec a zillion times and keep getting SOs and complete the tf at any time to get an earned respec.
Hope that helps and is not confusing.

@Ukase
No not confusing.
Yes helpful - thankyou.
My fault in the logic was; I was under the assumption that if you accepted a respec when you had one that you lost the previous respec. That is why I choose not to accept the respec reward -DoH!!!! I wasn't aware respec's stacked. Hmmm now to decide which TV trial I like the best.
Thankyou again.

You may want to read his responses again. He said they do not want a character doing PVP missions from 1-50. However, he is talking about within one zone. He indicated that Recluse's Victory will be 40-50. So, in essence a character could go from 15-50 in all PVP missions. They will just have to go from Bloody Bay to Siren's Call to Warburg to Recluse's Victory. But, they could not go from 15-50 in Bloody Bay. They would outlevel the contact based on SL/TL. But, at that point they can jump to the next PVP zone.
PVP and the missions are not end game content. They devs have never made this claim. The end game content is still in development.

Wulfrex-
Actually you just need to do A respec trial 3 times (unless this changed)
My first two times were the Freakshow respec then I did the Sky Raider one then for fun did the Rikti one.
You get the badges for choosing the respecs as the reward I guess because I did those three listed above (2 Freak an a SR) and got all three badges but selected the respec option on all three.
Also Trial respecs are permanently banked until you use em.
Gift respecs or the ones given when they nerf something so bad they feel we need a respec, replace each other and can be done anywhere at anytime by typing /respec in the chat window.

We do not want to make the missions in the PvP zones go all the way to 50, because then a character could literally spend all his time in that zone, never needing to leave except to visit stores, and that is gameplay we dont want to encourage.

Yeah but oddly enough they don't mind being able to go from 15-50 by only using 4 PvP zones....out of the 27+ zones in CoH...ok seems like a waste but hey it's their game not mine I just pay for it.
Planning and thinking like this is apparently why Faultline and Boomtown and Crey's Folly and Rikti Crash Site and Eden and The Hive (barring you go for Hamidon) no attraction outside of a handful of missions splattered over 50 levels...or in Faultlin's case, no missions .

Posi, there has been great debate on how to earn the time badges in PVP. Can you once and for all explain the do's and don'ts of how to earn it.
[/ QUOTE ]
There's no debate, there's just a lot of false info out there. It's not helped by the fact that they may/may not have been stealth fixed, or rebroken at any given point.
[/ QUOTE ]
and I think the point of that original post was a request to clear up which info out there is true and which info is false.
Which is something I'd love to hear, too.
