Badge Questions

I was working on my gladiator badges today and checked a list of them. One of them is Mob Specialist and requires 100 prisoners defeated. I already have the Warden badge for 500 prisoners, so shouldn't I have Mob Specialist already?

Oh, and BigMoneyHustla asked a valid question a few pages back that I wanted to know about also: do holds from pvp count towards the Time Held badges?

Planning and thinking like this is apparently why Faultline and Boomtown and Crey's Folly and Rikti Crash Site and Eden and The Hive (barring you go for Hamidon) no attraction outside of a handful of missions splattered over 50 levels...or in Faultlin's case, no missions .

Oh I agree. It does seem odd to allow all PVP mission leveling from 15-50 in 4 zones as opposed to one. However, this was not Von_Yellsburg complaint. It was about being able to use PvP missions to go from 48-50 in Recluse's Victory based on Posi's comment. This was not correct when reading Posi's other responses saying that the new zone in I7 will be 40-50.

I also agree about the lack of content in Faultline, Boomtown, Crey's Folly, Rikti Crash Site, Eden and The Hive causing a lack of population in those zones. But, PvP (and the associated mini-games with it) will keep Bloody Bay, Siren's Call, Warburg, and Recluse's Victory alive.

Here's a question, what level is Arbiter Leary because I got the bug now with him that he stopped talking to me and tells me I never met the requirement for him, even though I have both respec badges and I did half his missions. Is he 35-40 or 35-39 like many of the contacts whose levels need adjusting. Just wondering if by hitting 40 I will outlevel him or not because thinking the fix might be a while.

I took my scrapper out to try and get this today, thinking that 7.3 Megs was a "full" patch. I processed ore once, but did not get the badge. Has anybody else tried this yet? Is the fix in, or not? (Processing ore once seems awfully easy for the badge, to be fair.)

Ok, before I ask my question let me just state that I ran several searches on this forum for the answer but kept getting vague lists and nothing that actually answered me.

I was changing my costume around tonight as I always do. It's almost like habit to go to the face and alter my outfit. Anyway, while messing around with it, I received a New badge right then and there. Then I got a message that said new costume parts.

I jumped with joy. Now I had even more parts to pick from and I just love outfitting and design. The problem is, I see no new selections for any new parts at all.

I tried to check which badge I had gotten but I honestly have no idea which is something that displeases me with this game. I am a fairly new player to CoV. I've been here a little over a week. Everytime I get a new badge I get no message of what it is or what it was for. So I have no idea which badges I already had and which ones are new. To be honest I just about stopped caring when I got a new one.

Trying to look around and find out what badges are new and which is old is something that gives me trouble and I'd rather not deal with the hassle. Unless I wrote down each badge from day one, I don't see how anyone can really keep up. It's confusing for me especially as a new player.

So my question lies in my rambling. What new costume parts did I obtain and where can I find them? It's the first time I got a badge while in the tailor shop so I hope that helps because that's really all the information I have about it.

I plead with the developers to make badges more user friendly.

At midnight on Feb 8th everyone gets the Valentine's day badge and the toga costume piece.

If it's a Valentine's Day badge, shouldn't it be the 14th? And it's currently 1:30 on the east coast and I've recieved no badge.

The event starts before the 14th because they want people to be able to experience it for more than one single day. And it may be 1:30am on the east coast, but that means it's not midnight yet on the west coast, where half the servers are. Probably the one that you're on.

He is 35-40 I ran into the bug that prevented him from speaking to you after completing a respec but now that it is fixed I have started to recieve missions from him again with my lvl 40 MM

You may need to edit your tabs in the chat box. If you right click on the tab of your choice and the select edit you can add or remove various topics. No I may be mistaken but the badge message should show up in under the system topic (it will be green). It will tell you when ever you receive and enhancement, Insp, salvage or badge and the name. Then you just need to find the badge to see what it was for.

so what's the word on villains getting CapBuster from the Pocket D mission? It seems Snaptooth counts for that, but not the other Redcaps? I don't want to kill Snaptooth 333 times.

Ordinarily I would not be enthusiastic about farming 333 Redcaps from one mission. But "Cap Buster" would be a pretty awesome villain badge title.

How about allowing villains to get it?

Oops, villains aren't supposed to be able to get Cap Buster? Oh well. Saves me a little time, since I would have compulsively had to get it on both my villain badge hounds. At least we know!

Too bad that's a bug. Its a perfect title for a villain (much more so than heroes, IMO).

It's a bug that some players have Passport. They shouldn't expect to keep it.

It is a badge that was made in anticipation of Server Transfers. I don't know the schedule of when/if transfers are going to happen, and even if this badge will be given as part of the transfer anymore. Passport has been around a LONG time, and many things have changed in that time.

If not related to transfers, I think this Accolade should give you the power to get both the Green and Yellow train lines from a single station. With bases helping you get around now there's no way merging the trains could be gamebreaking.

How about 3 tabs: Personal, Supergroup, Gladiator.
Then add a "show..." bubble list like on the map tab, letting you fiter Explore, History, Mission/TF, Kill, Achievement, Accolade, Special.

I know this won't get answered, but here it goes: My level 10+ characters on the Training Room got either a Heart of Darkness or Heart of Light accolade. Reading the descriptions made me wonder if they were supposed to be for the (hopefully) upcoming Hero/Villain switch feature (as in being able to switch sides, and have a hero go to RI as a villain, and villain becoming a hero in Paragon).

Or is it supposed to be awarded after doing the missions in Pocket D?

It's simply a freebie badge for logging in during the event.

It will have NO connection to switching sides.

i got a question, us badgers are worried about this badge and always need info on grabbing things like this, but it would be nice if u could let us know if the new missions coming to CoV in I7 will offer any of the coh kill badges not available to cov people and also if there will be easier ways to get some of the cov badges that only appear in 1 mission throughout the entire game, such as bp masks and outcast bosses, causing us to go through and reset about 100 times
