  1. Yeah, the devs pretty much encourage us NOT to reroll, to which the TF datamine and the respec system are good examples. Isolator for pre-I2 toons can be thought of as an encouragement TO reroll, and I'm sure they didn't intend that to happen, probably they just forgot or something. So to those who rerolled for it good for you, but I don't concider that an option, and the devs don't either.

I say just get rid of Isolator all together, it's circumstances only bring out the worst of people. It's the only exception to the rule that the earlier you roll a character the more content you can experience with him, and that bothers people. Now, instead of just heated arguements in forums, there's going to be new potential for griefing that's directly related to this badge. I honestly wish this badge never existed...

Actually, I believe it was positron that stated a character is not intended to have every badge. And just because it's not that way now doesen't mean they don't eventually plan to have it set up that way.

Well... The devs say a lot of things, don't they? (How are your skills studies going at the University of Paragon, BTW?)

It is my hope that they never make any more badges that my main cannot get, or God forbid they create some that are mutually exclusive with others. I think they need to realize that while some of their customers are altaholics, some of us are collectors and completists. There's no good reason why they can't serve both populations.

Personally, I hope they DO make badges that are mutually exclusive. It'd be an excellent way to "customize" your character, by showing what choices he or she has done over the years.

And thanks to some corrospondance courses with the University of Paragon, I learned VCR repair!

Well I agree in that the more customization the better, but that sounds more like something the skills system would bring. I myself see the badges as showing how much of the game one character has completed. I would LOVE to have character choices in the game, but to me badges shouldn't have to be that confined.
  3. I just want the Isolator badge available for my pre-I2 toon. I don't want re-roll, and I'm pretty sure the devs don't want to force me into a situation where I should reroll, or else they wouldn't have added the ability to respec. So far we've had the chance to go back and experience content that our toons have outleveled from the new issues given, which meant that we can get new badges implemented that normally we wouldn't be able to do. The devs seemed fine with this, and it probably was even their intention. Isolator is the only exception, so why can't the devs just let people who never had the chance to get just one chance, like all the post-I2 characters? This would be fair for the toons that got it, because now ALL toons ever created would have the one chance that now only the post-I2 toons have. I apologize if this sounds confusing, I think I'm a little confused myself over my sentence structure...
  4. I'd be willing to do that too
  5. Now I can understand why people would want to get the Isolator badge, but I don't get how people can feel so strongly about pre-I2s NOT getting a chance for the badge. I mean seriously, what's the harm? It doesn't go towards an accolade, so it has no real effect on gameplay. It's just a little, shiney, and ultimately useless badge.

I say find all the pre-I2 characters and give them a city hall mission. No big deal.

    Badge Questions

Yeah, this is probably what's happening, because I don't have my medic henchman yet.

    Badge Questions

Ok, this is a little weird to me. My MM has started to get his healing badge, and he has no healing powers. I know you can get it by healing henchmen, but the only thing I've ever done to them was maybe give one a respite. He's a Merc/Traps MM, just started him. Am I missing something?
