Oh the "scales" on a shark are actually more like small teeth, and they are called denticles. Pet a shark one way and they are smooth, the other and you might lose a layer of skin. :-)

OT here but interesting: One of my more eccentric clients has gone free-diving with Great Whites off of Australia.

He also has one of those "double" capes from the looks of it. It looks like its split down the middle.

Isn't Captain Mako supposed to be one of the villains? He would certainly qualify as the shark guy.

Never heard of Captain Mako. I don't really think a villain should start his name with Captain. Kind of only works in the hero aspect.

Anyone notice that the heroes an villains seem to be from different eras? As though the heroes were golden age, while the villains are right out of the 80's and 90's when everyone was oh so dark and gritty. If I remember correctly, golden age villains also sported colorful and impractical outfits.
