Coralax sighting?
Am I, like, the only subscriber who hasn't gotten this e-mail yet? Anyone want to forward it to me?

P.S. - Who the heck is Dominatrix? And where can I meet her?
[/ QUOTE ]
She's the Praetorian version of Ms. Liberty. I don't remember the names of the missions, but you fight her in the usual 45+ arcs with the other Praetorians.
Jonathan Jones Status! (for anyone who knows what I'm talking about)

For the record- thanks, Manticore the dev and boxwood6177(note, this supercedes earlier listings of these hero's powers):
Positron is a Rad/Rad Defender.
Manticore is a Trick Arrow Archery Defender.
Sister Psyche is a Mind Control/FF Controller.
and just to fill in the other ones noted by many:
Miss Liberty is a MA/Inv Scrapper.
Mynx is a Claws/Regen Scrapper.
Luminary is an Energy/Energy Blaster.
Swan is a Kin/Psi Defender.
Synapse is an Elec/Elec Blaster (with SS).
Citadel (ex Bastion) is an Inv/EM Tank.
Numina is a Mind/Empathy Controller.
Valkyrie is a Spear(!)/Regen Scrapper.
Infernal is a Fire/Axe Tank.
Back Alley Brawler is an Inv/SS Tank.
And the now-AWOL Malaise was/is an Ill/Kin Controller.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think you have Luminary and Positron backwards, although those are the powers their Praetorian counterparts have.
Where can you see a picture of the Original Ms. Liberty.
No he is right Positron is a Rad/Rad defender, and Luminary is an Energy/Energy blaster.
I really want to know who the chic in the pink is with the fish net stalkings is. ((Box Art))
I'm with you guys, why is this 'Squirrel Girl' all over the place and never mentioned? Shes on box art, trailers, and all of these other promotional art work.
-Can a DEV please specifiy Sister Psyche's powers please, is she a Mind/FF controller, a Mind/Emp controller, a FF/Psy defender, or a Emp/Psy defender? She is all over the place, in the CoH trailer she lifts a villain in the air using a 'PINK' bubble, after shielding herself with a blue/green bubble. Then in the box art, she is blasting a pink blast. But alas, in the CoV trailer she is blasting a GREEN beam.
It seems to me that she could be a Force Field/ Psy defender, using force bolt(Green beam), Tk blast(pink beam), and her occasional self shield.
~Captain Marko, great name for an awesome looking shark-mutated villain. He is obviously a shark and not a snake, snakes dont have fins, even though his snout isn't as pointed as a shark, he has to have some human features left.

You know it might have been the original beta for Numina after she was created by the person who won the contest - and when do we get Fishnets for Costume Options - they would go great with the new skirts!

See my prior post for the correct answer. That's from Manticore himself posting the changes. All those body switches made Psyche's powersets a mite odd, IMHO.
Likewise, the changes to Positron and Luminary are from Manticore's notes as well.

I'm voting for both, like the Kheldians. Shark dudes for the bad guys and dolphin dudes for the heroes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Okay, you can have your dolphin hero, but I get a huge body-style ORCA baby!!! Shamu-man comin to your town!!!
When I fought Malaise in the Calvin Scott TF he used only Mind attacks from the Controller primary. He never spawned a pet. I play a mind controller so I noticed that immediately. Does he use Illusion powers elsewhere?
Also the black man with the dreadlocks and the monocle, the metal shoulder pads, the black tanktop, he seems to have energy melee as shown in the City of Villains trailer. Some people said awhile back that's Back Alley Brawler but the attacks and appearance don't coincide at all. Does anyone know his name?
From what I recall, though I cannot find the originating post, the chick in pink with the fishnets is the South American blaster, La Estrella.
For some time, there was some discussion that she was the original Sister Psyche, but a dev stepped in and set us straight. Now If we could just get the mods to stop deleting posts that have dev content in them, we might find this stuff without resorting to human recall.
Maybe if there was an ARCHIVE that we could delve through, even though it were slower(because we would have to wait for the decompression), we would still have the inforamtion available.
<sigh> Oh well...
Can we get a dev to reaffirm that the lady in pink is La Estrella?

Doesn't quite look like her here, but that once again could be Liberty with her colors off.

But.....the Bug Dude and Topknot Guy....there.....AGAIN.
The article also specifically points out that Statesman and Back Alley Brawler were among the heroes that showed up, supporting our assumption that Mr. Dreadlocks is BAB.
(In the CoV trailer, it certainly looks like he's using SS attacks instead of EM. His punches are more firey/explody than glowy.)

You are correct. Sister Psyche has always been a Mindrider. Her merge with Aurora Borealis was obviously the most extreme case, but she occasionally picks up other powers when she is riding with a super.

Right?

*ponders* It'd make for an interesting EAT, having another hero's "psychic residue" left behind to combine with one's own powers in unusual ways...sorta like what happened to Psyche/Aurora.

BackAlley Brawler is an INV/EM. Shows in COV trailer.
No points for you!
You must stay back a year!

Actually, the guy in the trailer doesn't seem to be the Back Alley Brawler. When you play the game at higher levels you'll see his Praetorian counterpart is INV/SS. It should also be a big clue the INV/EM tank in the CoV trailer is of a different race, has a different hairstyle, different clothes, a monocle, etc.
I made a duplicate of the CoV trailer hero you speak of, and then put him side by side next to our venerable Back Street Brawler. Do you think they look similar?
PIC
Even mega-heroes feel the need to spend some influence at Icon too. Just because the outfits are different, it doesn't mean they're different people. The one you recreated on the right is Back Alley Brawler as seen in trailers and posters as well as the manual and CoH loading screen (right at the back, on the right). You can see him on the flash banner at the top of these very forums too.
If he was some unknown hero, do you really think he'd make so many appearances?
Justice Hunter, 50 Inv/SS Tank
Slenszic, 50 Sword/Energy Stalker
MA Arc IDs: 1355, 2341, 2350
1) Notice that in the comics BAB doesn't even look like his game counterpart. (I think the devs need to spruce up his model a bit, it doesn't look all that great...I think he needs darker skin, if anything. )
2) On the old CoV site, as I said above, the newspaper stated that BAB and Statesman were two out of the many heroes that showed up to stop Lord Recluse's big rally. The picture that went along with the story showed "Mr. Dreadlocks Hand on Chest" hand to hand with LR.
3) In the trailers, his hands do not glow. They're more explody/firey if anything. Thus, more like SS than EM.

Actually you will find Sister Psyche using her Mindrider power in the City of Heroes CCG.
[ QUOTE ]
I saw another website which listed her (unofficially probably) as another older patriotic hero, since Miss Liberty is (I'm guessing) comparatively new and young. I can't remember for the life of me what the name was, or what the site was though. Edit: I figured Miss Liberty was a FF Defender, considering Dominatrix is.
[/ QUOTE ]
It is true that Miss Liberty is the original Miss Liberty's granddaughter. I'm thinking that because Statesman clearly has some kind of superhuman longevity (he fought in World War II and battled Lord Recluse in the long ago, as will be revealed in _Web of Arachnos_ by Robert Weinberg) that he and the original Miss Liberty hooked up and conceived the current Miss Liberty. Unable to tell her the truth of her origins, Statesman trained her as his "sidekick", and continues to watch her as she grows.
P.S. - Who the heck is Dominatrix? And where can I meet her?
