You may have something there. Or it could be an animal-esque villain body; In statements about villain costumes, the devs said they'd be... dang, I forget exactly, but it made me think of animal heads and other weirdness.

Hmmm, quite interesting. He/She/It has some of the characteristics of a villain/nemesis I was thinking up for my hero.
Looks like I might get to create him afterall!
Kinda disappointed that there are only four main villains (Recluse, scorpion guy, blue lady, and shark head). The rest are all Arachnos minions 
Hope they just didn't want to give it all away too early.
As for the Coralax being good, I believe States said no EAT's until after CoV, so they could be good, bad, or both.
Hmmm, just saw the newsletter myself, from the looks of it they're the CoV version of the Freedom Phalnax (I don't mean their alt selves..just a generic supervillian group 
)...though I would love if those were some of the costume options...especially the Scorpion armour .

The shark guy looks a bit metallic. I got the impression from the mission text that the fish-like creatures was more organic. If we assume that mission text is a hint for the coralax, I think the shark-like villain is something different altogether. I could be wrong, though.

Sharks don't have shiny fish-like scales.
Anyway, what I want to know is if friggin' laser beams attached to the head will be a costume option for the Coralax. I sure hope they will be.
