I feel like a bit of a n00b asking this but..............
I've been playing this game for years and I've heard people talk of 'hero merits' and how they are worth 50 times what a normal merit is worth, but I've never received a hero merit. Am I doing something wrong? do you have to craft them?

Back in January I came across a toon called True Blood wandering around Atlas park rather forlornly, he asked me a couple of questions and seeing as he was completely new to Paragon city I took a couple of hours to show him around, explain how everything works and gave him some influence to get him started and off I went. I thought no more of it until yesterday morning when I checked my in-game email and was gobsmacked to see an email from him saying goodbye as his ATI powered computer didn't like CoX and so he wasn't going to renew his sub. He had attached 999,999,999 influence! So if any of you know @true blood in real life please tell him @virtue says thankies.
Have any of you had anything like this happen to you?

Well I've installed the new launcher , the game has patched itself and loads, but now it says I don't have permission to access the test server *sighs*

Same problem here 2 computers running windows 7 won't let me run the test server but 32 bit vista will, very strange

I have two computers with windows 7 on that I can't get the test server to work on ( just get some message about a prv file) but on my Vista laptop I just got the test server running without any issues. Is this a known fault?

Defiant Events 2 seems to be up and running nicely, I'd suggest we leave Kendai to have his own little private channel. But it would be nice to see a mod step in and give us back something we all consider to be 'ours'.
There's a chance this could damage the population of Defiant in the same way losing salsbadgehunters would damage Union

How to make friends and influence people springs to mind Kendai. I've never seen so many of the influential Deviants post on a subject. Give us back our channel

Last night I saw someone whose level was 50 +1, I have done the WTF and got my notice of the well and then made my Muscalature toatal radial revamp which said in it's description 'this also applies a level shift' so I was kind of hoping to be 50 +1 now but I'm not (sulks) what am I doing wrong?

I recently bought a new computer but when I try to access the training room I get the message 'failed to rename C:\Program Files (x86)\CoHTest\cohupdater.exe to C:\Program Files(x86)\CoHTest\CoHupdater.prv '
Any idea how to fix this?

There's more people on Union but I think the community seems tighter on Defiant once you get to know people. Having said that Lady Arete is right Sals Badgehunters is the main channel on Union. Good Luck

So if they merge servers will we just get dumped onto the American ones? or will Union, Defiant etc remain? And will I become @EU_Virtue because an American has the same global as me or worse still will I have to choose a new name althogether?

So they are moving the European servers to the United States, could anyone more technically minded than myself tell me what the implications are?
