I can no longer access training room Help!
First off. The EU server is a separate board. Second this doesn't go there or here, but in tech support AFAIK. Lastly do you have administrator privileges?
Your shortcut for the test server should look something like this ...
"D:\Program Files\CoHTest\cohupdater.eu.exe" -test
Does it?
It sounds like you've tried to (accidentally) overwrite the live directory with the CoH Directory.
Did you make sure you followed the How To Access the Training Room post?

I recently bought a new computer but when I try to access the training room I get the message 'failed to rename C:\Program Files (x86)\CoHTest\cohupdater.exe to C:\Program Files(x86)\CoHTest\CoHupdater.prv '
Any idea how to fix this? I'm on the European server |
Having been on COH for 7 years now, please dont ask if my shortcut is correct, and what files ive deleted or not. etc....
Any one got a fix ? Devs or tech support ?

I believe if you copy cohupdater.eu.exe to cohupdater.exe (so you have both), but still use cohupdater.eu.exe, then it may work.
Also, have you tried using the Launcher?
Copy the updater to the desktop (not a shortcut, but a copy of the .exe file) and add -test to the startup command; then run the updater from the desktop. That should fix everything and then you can start using the shortcut as normal.

To humor me what happens if you use the NcSoft launcher with a shortcut set to:
C:\NCSoft\Launcher\NCLauncher.exe /LaunchGame=euCoHTest
adjust path to where you installed launcher of course.
