Never mind. I figured it out.

The recent driver causes a problem with Nvidia 6 series graphic cards. I have to roll back my driver. Thanks all!

Hi all.

Just some background info: Today I upgraded to the newest Nvidia Driver that was released in June. I've been playing City of Heroes for a while now with no issues, but today I ran into a problem.

I just finished the Anton Sampson arc where I go up against Nemesis. Whenever I talk to Anton and click "Introduce me to a new contact", the game freezes up and a window pops up saying "cityofheroes.exe is not responding." After a while, another window pops up saying "OpenGL has lost its connection with the display driver."

Nothing else triggers this. I only experience this when I try to get another contact from Anton Sampson. Anyone else know what's going on or experiencing this?

I would expect Mr. Bean to crash an F1. The most surprising news when I read that last night was the fact that he owned one. lol. What happened to the Mini?

And yes, I'm well-aware that Mr. Bean is a fictional character played by Rowan Atkinson.

I'm enjoying it myself, especially without the constant "every 10-minutes", unnatural feeling commercials that BBC America subjects you to.

I run the game on a Gateway NV53A52U.

I run the game on Recommended. I get great FPS on those settings.

I think I may take advantage of this. The server I play on right now never has anyone to team up with.

This was most definitely one of my favorite episodes. I'm loving this season so far.

The actress who played the TARDIS was amazing. "My thief! Where's my thief!" I loved it.

I remember this site. We used to play it in school. I wonder how they get their hands on all of the rice that people manage to gather.

Get all of my current characters to level 50.

I like your first suggestion about how nimble characters should land on their feet. It would be like, awesome if my characters with SR didn't fall to the ground.

Lately, I've been seeing more people on the Liberty server, but yeah, whenever I do actually see someone, we end up just staring at each other for a while. Occassionally, there's a "hey" or "what's up" or "nice costume", but we usually just stare at each other. When I first started playing, I was especially surprised whenever I saw someone.

i actually managed to log in without patching today. I don't know what I did different. I was using Windows 7 and let my computer shut down normally instead of clicking Force Shut Down. I'm still not sure if that was causing the problem.

Like I said in a similar thread, why am I stuck with long pants!? Why is it that the only jackets we can wear is dress jackets!? Why!?

I'm getting the same thing. At first, i was like, excited about that patches. (Don't ask me why), but now, it's annoying. I think the game is downloading the same patch over and over again. Something's wrong here.

Sure, if I restart and try again, it'll redownload the patch and log in successfully, but I shouldn't have to do this every time I want to play.

I wouldn't mind short pants. My MA scrapper needs some short pants for his boxing costume, since it'll be a long time before I can get the official boxing costume.

There is one things that I ask, however. At levels 1 through 24, we would love if you are in SG mode at all times. This is because, prior to level 25, there is no penalty to getting prestige. From level 25 to 50, experience and influence is halved, so SG mode isn't required, but appreciated.

EDIT: I was wrong about the limits. At level 30, SG Mode starts to affect your influence. Experience is never affected. We'd still love it if you were in SG mode though. :-)

@OP: I don't know much about Incarnate Shards, except that they are important. My eyes are too busy looking at the 10k - 30k that you recieved from defeating one enemy. That's a lot of money in the eyes of my low level character. 0_0

Dang. Now, I can't think of a good comment that hails in comparison with the previous 3 or 4 or 5.

I especially loved the trailer with "Hero" playing in the background.

So, the codes are on a picture. I thought it would be typed so that I could copy and paste. I should have known you guys would make me work for it. That being said, I didn't win anything. I saw the tweet when it first appeared but I'd forgotten why I was waiting for a tweet and logged off.

I will most definitely be entering, but one thing is confusing me. When it says 1024 x 768 resolution, is that referring to the size of the entry? Like, is that the amount of space that my billboard should take up? Or is it something else? Thanks!

Yeah, I know it sounds kind of cheap, but I want to know if it's possible.

I just started a new character, and I wanted to send some influence from another one of my characters to this new one so that I could have a head start. Is there any way that I can possibly do this? I've tried the email system, but I have to be global friends to send an attachment. I tried becoming global friends with myself, but I ran into a dangerous paradox along the way. :/

Anyone ever done this before? How can I, if possible?

Yeah, I bought it online. Oh well, I guess I'll take advantage of the sale on the enhancement sets.
