Just email it to ur global name than log on that toon and claim it.
Yes you can. Here is all you need to know. When sending it make sure you put the @ before your Global name.

I have a similar problem. The Problem is the Toon I want to mail the Inf away from is the one with my Global Name. ( and somehow it does not take the @ in the Address.)

For example, this would NOT work: @ My Awesome Name
But this WOULD work: @My Awesome Name
After you've sent it, you should see the email show up in your own inbox pretty much immediately. You can then log in to any character on that account and claim whatever you attached to it. Hope that helps!

Yeah, I know it sounds kind of cheap, but I want to know if it's possible.
I just started a new character, and I wanted to send some influence from another one of my characters to this new one so that I could have a head start. Is there any way that I can possibly do this? I've tried the email system, but I have to be global friends to send an attachment. I tried becoming global friends with myself, but I ran into a dangerous paradox along the way. :/
Anyone ever done this before? How can I, if possible?
