  1. Because of this video, "Word Up" by Korn always makes me picture various NPCs dancing.
  2. I'm not sure if I'm losing my mind or not, but didn't there used to be a Monstrous Fur pattern under Lower Body -> Tights? During a recent character creation, I could only find Monstrous Fur under Lower Body - > Monstrous Legs. The Monstrous Fur tights option should be put back (or added if it never existed).

    Also, any chance of getting the Blue Steel Shield back?

    According to Paragonwiki, it existed during the I13 closed beta, but was removed for unknown reasons. It is still in the game, as it can be used by critters in Architect.

    I got an idea for a character after hearing someone mispronounce Batman as Bathman. I haven't actually made Bathman yet though.

    Subjective Feedback: I personally love these two sets. I will get plenty of use out of these, but probably not as much as the Natural pack.

    I also think there should be options to see power animations while Flying and/or with a Shield out, since these do change the animations of some powers. Like Stone Mallet is usually a two-handed strike, but it's a one handed attack with a Shield out. It would be nice to see these differences in the editor.

  8. I still can't believe I managed to snag "Not A Nemesis Plot" a while back.

    I have "Captain Fulcrum" reserved for my Kinetic Melee Scrapper. He'll be a Captain Falcon homage. He'll have to get a macro to yell "Fulcrum Punch!" when he attacks.

    I also got "Major Redraw Issues" for my DP/TA Corr after I prepurchsed GR. She'll be taking Mace Mastery for her PPP.
  9. I have a problem with the animation for Elude and Eviscerate. The flashy jump-flip animation may be good for some concepts, but the two characters I have that use these powers are trained assassins. I really can't see either of them using such impractical moves in a fight. Some simpler animations for these powers would be great, especially for the Stalker version of Eviscerate, since the current animation is way too impractical for what it does.

    I also think that each Assassin's [insert attack here] power should have a unique animation. Claws could have one of these, but I don't have any ideas for the rest of them yet.

  11. I actually have an evil Hero. He's a Nemesis Automaton playing the role of Hero to take out possible threats to Lord Nemesis, spy on Hero activities, and possibly "defeat" Nemesis to make the world believe he's dead.
  12. This happens sometimes with old Newspaper or radio missions after a patch. The enemy groups will glitch out a be replaced with something else.

    I had a Newspaper mish full of high level 7th Generation Paragon Protectors. I've seen reports of Cimeroran Traitors, Siren's Call Phantoms, Syndicate, and Preatorian Clockwork showing up as well.
  13. Depends on the character. I have a wide variety of characters that are in the Isles for various reasons and a few more that will be heading there come GR.

    Shadowninja is a thief that has been possessed by the soul of an Archvillain from ancient times. He seeks to regain his former power, build up and army and create an empire that covers the Earth. I'd say he's evil.

    Da Krusha is a human that was experimented on against his will. His ordeal wiped his memory, and he was mistaken for a villain and arrested upon breaking out of the science lab. Arachnos broke him out and told him that they'll help him get his memory and former life back if he helps them. Having no other options, he goes for it. He's not evil at all, just being used. He'll realize that come GR and jump ship.

    Break Stuff is an Arachnos Soldier who just loves hurting people. He's the kind of guy who'll shoot you, bash your face in, then shoot you some more just for the fun of it. And he'd willingly fight for the side of good if there was a decent fight somewhere in the future. If he was around, he would've broken into a the Omega Team breifing and demand to be taken along just he wouldn't miss the brawl.

    Kaos Blak is an assassin that tried to take over his fromer organization but failed. He's now a assassin-for-hire in the Isles. He'll take out anyone or anything as long as the pay is good.

    Yellow Chaos is a Hero that will be heading to the Isles. He originally came to Paragon to search for his brother (Kaos Blak) after receiving a tip that he was working as a villain in Paragon City. He will receive another tip informing him that his bro is in the Isles and will become a villain to find his brother and kill him if neccessary.
  14. I consider a game beaten when the credits roll, and then I go back for anything I missed to achieve 100% completion. Since CoX never has the credits roll, I will most likely only consider it "beaten" once I have accomplished everything I want to do on any given character. I have yet to do that for any of them.

    I just looked Mako up on Paragonwiki and you're right.

  16. If I could use one of my own characters, I'd probably take Captain Blakstar or Yellow Chaos

    If i had to pick a canon character, then Captain Mako. He's been my favorite signature character for quite some time. If Mako was taken, I'd be The Slot Machine
  17. The current "Pull the Nemesis Staff out of the ground" bug is quite entertaining.

    I once had a newspaper mish screw up when a patch went out. The mish was supposed to be against CoT, but it was full of 7th Generation Paragon Protectors of a very high level.

    Way back near the launch of CoV I had a mission with half of the map missing. I turned a corner and then fell for a very long distance into a black void.

    I also had a mission where the patrol dialog displayed as "Patroller_1_Dialog" and Patroller_2_Dialog"
  18. I'm not entirely sure if there are restrictions on costume parts for trial accounts, but I can tell you that there are no Full Robe costumes for players. Some of the enemy types have them (mostly the Circle of Thorns, but players do not have access to them.

    And the only way to have a holdable item or weapon is to pick a weapon powerset (Like Katana, War Mace, Broadsword, Assault Rifle, etc.) at character creation.
  19. My Claws/Nin Stalker had more trouble with the middle wave than with his actual clones. Of course, I used Smoke Flash to Placate the whole group, then used the old "Assassin Strike then run like heck until they lose aggro" strategy.
  20. What was your Flawed Clone in the last mission?

    I ran it yesterday with my Claws/Nin Stalker and his Flawed Clone had Energy Melee and Dark Miasma. He managed to hold his own against Ajax while I destroyed the devices. After I had destroyed the last one, he had Ajax down to 25% health by the time I got into the fray.

    On test I ran it with my Ninjas/Dark MM and his had Energy Blast and Radiation Emission. He also held his own against Ajax, but went down just as I destroyed the last device.

  22. My most memorable moments:

    Finally overcoming my fondness for alts and getting my first 50. Felt like I was on top of the world.

    Using Gang War for the first time.

    Using Propel for the first time. Nothing beats hitting a Hellion in the face with a car the first time you use the power.

    Being complemented in-game by other players for some of my characters. Especially T3h N1nj4 Fr34k and Not a Nemesis Plot.

    The 6 year anniversary event. Seeing 15 Adamastors at once was epic.

    Playing the "Video Killed the Radio" arc. One of my favorite arcs in the entire game.

  24. I participated in the Liberty event. I picked up 9 badges, about 300 merits, and a crapload of debt. It was a blast.

    And I now know what it looks like when 15 Adamastors spawn at once.
  25. Just got finished up on Liberty, and it was a blast. I was in Talos (because it was a bit less laggy than Atlas) and walked away with all the RV AV badges, plus the ones for Kraken, Adamastor, and Babbage as well as around 300 Merits (and about 400,000 in XP debt, but who cares?). It was laggy as heck, but it was still fun.

    And major props to American Valor for trying to direct a very large mob of heroes and succeding for the most part.
