Ever listen to the radio and think, "Hey, that's just like a mission from ______!" or "I wonder if ______ likes this song?"


On my way home today I got hit by it. I was curious who else gets it from time to time.

Gawd I could go on...I'd better not...

One of the first fan-made CoX videos was by a SG called "The Trimmers," and it was done entirely to the tune of the Beastie Boys' song "Sabotage." I must've watched it a hundred times. Because of that, that song always makes me picture a bunch of people in business suits beating up Rikti.

Strangely, the Proclaimers - I Would Walk 500 Miles song came to mind as I criss-crossed the Hollows as a lowbie without travel power.

Because of this video, "Word Up" by Korn always makes me picture various NPCs dancing.

Did someone use this in a fan-video as well? I suspect that's why I associate it with CoH but can't remember exactly:

So yes... every song makes me think of City of Heroes these days.

I was about to say none, but the Spider-man 1 theme song Wings of an Eagle gives me that super hero feel.

Most songs fall into Auto Assault driving songs for me.

Back in the day* I listened to a Disturbed song (10,000 fists) just as I hit lvl50 on Velocity Overload. My first hero and 50.

So, naturally, everytime I hear Disturbed I think of my first Hero.
