Nearly always the sands. I;m great at lining up 3-4 mobs behind it, which will coast me through street sweeping lowbie levels.
My Axe brute has the ghost axe. A few others as well, which I wish I could change on them. -
Quote:You're not likley to notice the people who turn well without mouselook.That's kind of what I mean, though - it's a fixed flat speed. Is that really more comfortable than mouse look? Maybe I just notice the excessively bad examples, I don't know. But I keep thinking there'd be less complaining about camera control in caves if more people used mouse look.

I'ld remind and repeat that an anitivirus scanner is no longer enough by itself for most windows computers anymore.
For free use, I suggest avast, with superantispyware (which for free provides real time scanner) with use of malwarebtyes antimalware now and again.
For a little extra money, the real time scanner for malware bytes is very good, and has a great blocklist of malcious websites it prvents your computer from access (really useful for free websites that have dodgy advertising). -
About a 100 characters, with about 60 I regularly log in and dayjob/tradehouse/mission or two with.
Of late though havent had time to more than a mission or two per session, and tends to be one of my 6 or so main characters. -
Quote:You think people who havent played for years, will hear about a possible name purge, and care enough to pay NC money to keep it? Really....This would just result in a wave of people re-subbing a week before the scrub just to secure their name before vanishing again at the end of the month.
Even if they don't use the name any more and even if they had never intended to come back before hearing about the purge, they will return just to keep the name.
That's human nature.
You can see how much people fuss over being asked to just to possibly share a name in this thread. Losing a name even though they never use it? Yeah, they'll pony up $15, some just out of spite. Then they'll come to the forum and complain about it.

I hope leadership gets real popular.
I think the stealth pool will be more so, its doesnt need much in way of slots, fits the LoTG +recharge, and can see it freeing up superspeed picks too - instead of stealth IO + superspeed, it will be stealth IO + Stealth power + ninja run with swift/hurdfle. -
-
I'd still like to know if someone else had the name beofre I went with it.
-
Quote:I have a few characters planning the same.I think it will increase demand in Luck of the Gamblers, but it's anyone's guess how much. For example when I finally get around to IO'ing out my Spines/Fire I will at least consider taking the stealth pool for three LoTG Recharge I wouldn't have been able to slot previously.

In case you dont know; blasters can use thier first two powers from thier primary, and 1st power from thier secondary when slept/held/mez'd.
So it really pays to have effective and slotted attacks for those powers (aside from some secondarys - looking at web grenade) -
Plus there is illiusion controllers, so I'd be surprised at people being caught out by stalker stealth.

I've tried with PUGs too many times to like him. Be nice if his warning has changed a little - fraction more time - was always getting someone caught mid animation.

From nerdrage thread about power supression: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=234898
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What complaints if powers suppressed in markets like they do in Studio B
Re-Toggling
Travel Speed
Base Teleporter
Crafting Table
Losing/needing to rebuild permadom
RPers who never land on ground (prob other RP issues too)
Hasten to recharge base TPers/long recharge items
Using any of the TPers mission teleporter right from WW/BM or hopping zones from one WW/BM to another, pocket D, etc
There's also that costumes, capes, costume changes and auras probably induce more lag than most toggles.
There's also that the same people who intentionally grief with power spamming will be able to train mobs (espically redside) into the market zones.
A studio B type entrance seems the best solution. -
It leaves it open to develop a third Epic AT for goldside.
It also makes sense to me, in terms of that the AT are epic in story line not powers, so you need to expereince so of that story line side forst. -
Lotsa characters. Pretty well all my epics use dual builds as they can be played quite differently (eg huuman form/tri form kheld, bane/crab spider).
A couple support characters have more solo based builds early on, but that kinda peters out as keeping two sets of enhacnments are a bother.
A few more have halk baked duo builds, eg for winter event with lots of travel. -
Do a search for changing port number at the NC soft helpdesk; sometimes ISP throttle or slow the speed of downloading on certain ports.
I think it was only the chance to win a jetpack code for a month, not a certain thing.
-
You should be able to gift them the paypal money to get started if you cant do a reallife object gift.
-
If you are low level, there are also dual builds that are like a respec that you dont keep enhancements with.
We get free spec's pretty regularily, typically every issue which is 3-4 times a year.
I do tend to save free specs until close to the next issues release which I was you might want to look at dual build depending on what you have already slotted with your character.
You might also want to look at http://www.cohplanner.com/ which has two build planners -
