It has come to my attention that I will still be seen by heroes with great perception even with Stealth and Hide on.

So.. how do Stealth IOs work? Apparently they give you +Stealth for 2 minutes when used on an instant effect power, and if it is used on a toggle it will activate when the toggle is turned off.

Is this stackable? Can you use it every 2 minutes, making it perma?

OK so I guess I'm going to take Regen.

But, is Resilience worth taking? (I'm not sure if the power is actually called Resilience.. its the one that gives you minor stun protection and small resistance to smashing, lethal, and toxic.)

But the numbers are so small I don't know if its worth it. I guess if the stun protection actually helps I'll take it.

Hey guys. I'm torn between SR and Regen for my new Fire Melee Scrapper. I doubt SR in PvP because of powers like Focused Accuracy, or a simple small Insight inspiration that will break through my defenses. I'm hoping that the scaling resistances will be enough, but I haven't had much experience with SR, so I just don't know.
I haven't taken Regen very far, but I know its a scary and bumpy ride having to watch that green bar go up and down like a roller coaster. But hey, I'm up for the challenge!

So what'll it be fellas?

But I agree. Low overall power + only lethal won't get you past anything in pvp.

Have any of these powersets ever been available for Scrappers. If so, why were they removed?
If not, do you think that they might be available for Scrappers any time in the future? I love both of these powers, but I'm sad that I have to be using a Brute or Tanker to be able to use them.

I might try Dark/Shield, but I won't be able to thrive because I'm super poor.

Hello everyone. I had a question about which powersets I should take for an "AV Killer".
For some reason I have in my mind that Regen is the secondary power for the "AV Killer" Build. Is this true? Which primary should I take? Thanks in advance.

Think about when/ if you'll use it, and how much you'll actually use it.
Take it if you feel like you'll need it, respec out of it if you don't.
No point in having a power that you never use, right?

I'm interested in leveling a Brute, because I know the damage output can be amazing.. But I'm afraid of the fact that Brute's don't have the same defense levels as Tankers do, right off the bat..
And I'm pretty poor so I can't afford many decent IOs.

Since most people see Brutes as the Redside Tanker, when I have Scrapper level defenses I feel like I'll probably die more than if I was a Tanker.

Any opinions or advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
(If I make a Tanker it will probably be Inv/SS, if I make a Brute it will probably be an SS/SD)

If I were you, I wouldn't skip it. It has a slow animation but it compensates for massive damage. It can do up to 30% more when used while hidden. It just seems like such a high powered move, unless you have a power in mind that you think would be better, I suggest you don't skip it.

Claws and Ninja Blade would work well with Regen.
Because they are quick, short recharge moves. You need some quick moves with regen because your survivability is based on how fast you can get to your clickies.

I'm a huge fan of Energy Melee, and EM is really the only thing I plan on using with my Stalkers. So I would recommend trying it out.. But I don't suggest using it with regen. The are very powerful, but very slow in return.
But the main thing is to have fun with your stalker!

I think that SR has more defense. They both have a great tier 9, and mez protection.
SR has: Quickness. Mini-perma hasten + swift.
Nin has: Self heal + fun but sort of useless toys.


I already have an EM/ Nin which is good, but I'm having some doubts..
And I think that SR would be great for EM because Quickness will help with EM's long recharge times.

Whats great about it is that it has an Aoe, a cone or 2, plus Parry raises defense if you absolutely must scrap it out.

Scrappers need: Ninjutsu, Energy Aura

I can understand where you're coming from... Lethal damage is highly resisted. But I still like it. I might try it when I get done with my Energy Melee/Nin.

And lol. Yes, you can't REALLY see stalkers :P. But you CAN see the blue name above their head :3.

I love Broad Sword as a Scrapper. I was thinking about using it on my Stalker.
But I don't see anyone ever using it. It seems like a really hard hitting primary... How come no one uses it?
