I have no idea why, luck of the draw? It is a pretty heavy-hitting set, I took a BS/regen stalker to lvl 20-something. IT's as brutal on end as it is on your victims though, I say giv'r.
Well, to begin with you can't SEE Stalkers! Ha!
Okay, but seriously you don't see many BS Stalkers because it's (a) lethal damage, (b) very similar to Ninja Blade which to many probably seems more thematically "Stalker-ish", and (c) there just aren't that many Stalkers around TO see.
Nothing against BS myself, but as I already have an NB Stalker my alt time is going to be spent first on Stalkers that are less like NB... such as Elec or Dark Melee. I'd probably play one if they finally came to their senses and gave Stalkers the Shield Defense set, but I don't see that happen. The devs have applied their selective double-standard of appropriateness and decided it doesn't fit the Stalker theme (whereas suddenly dual blades are "brutish" somehow).
But I digress...

I can understand where you're coming from... Lethal damage is highly resisted. But I still like it. I might try it when I get done with my Energy Melee/Nin.
And lol. Yes, you can't REALLY see stalkers :P. But you CAN see the blue name above their head :3.
I have a bs/ninja stalker and i have to say i love it. The damage is nice and hack seems to work like a mini AS when hidden.

Whats great about it is that it has an Aoe, a cone or 2, plus Parry raises defense if you absolutely must scrap it out.
I've done both and I had a lot more fun with nin/ than bs/ becase the animations are sooooo sllooooooooowwwwww. Really frustrating. I'll never make another broadsworder on any AT.

Broadsword is fun on a stalker. I love my BS/Elec.....pretty sure I'm the only one with that combo even on Freedom server.....and that just adds to the fun.
I still haven't figured out why stalkers got BS and brutes got DB though *boggle*.
As for why don't you see it....its cause alot of people already levelled up a ninja blade stalker and broadsword seems too similar to bother for them.

I can see Shields not having a stalker feeling to it.
However, it's not that Dual Blades isn't brutish, it's the animations aren't brutish. What they need is alternate animations.

I love Broad Sword as a Scrapper. I was thinking about using it on my Stalker.
But I don't see anyone ever using it. It seems like a really hard hitting primary... How come no one uses it?
