    -E- I also would like to point out that the Rectified Reticle set I used in your tactics power, has an increased perception unique, which will help to avoid placate and hide effects, and to a lesser degree, accuracy debuffs...which should accomplish your goal of hitting more often.
  2. I have my Scrapper build on mids I will share it after work and you can see what I did, it's claws/regen.
  3. You went a little heavy on the LotG's slotted into your defensive toggles...the mez resist set bonus is virtually worthless... Otherwise you could move a slot each from those to something else if you wanted.

    My personal taste runs toward putting an obliteration set in Spin instead of scirocco's like you have it. It gives more damage and recharge and you want that in that power...

    Titanium coating 4 slotted is an odd choice, not really any bonuses worth having there save +HP...but you can get that lots of other places...

    It would be worth it to make the Scrapper AT set Superior instead of the normal one, and if you have the set, you only need catalysts to make them purples. That will help...

    I see some other things... long story short try this... it should work MUCH better

    -E- I left all your leadership pool toggles in there, but if I were you, I would ditch that stuff...except manuevers...and go get some epic pool attacks to add to your DPS output. If you really want to run a ton of team toggles as a scrapper, go ahead, but this build combination is exceptionally good soloing, so why you want all the team stuff is a little puzzling to a great degree. You will contribute in teams just as well without those, and no one else will likely notice them enough to warrant burning .60 end/sec and change for them...your accuracy the way you're slotted won't be a problem either...you should hit about anything you want to...but in the end it's your choice...

  5. The stuff ripping you up from ranged is likely Energy/Neg...if you could get S/L/E/N softcapped that would take care of most of that...

    Fm/Inv critique

    Ok, what I see is this...

    (1) Resist Physical Damage needs 2 more slots...I would take them from Combat Jumping and leave just a +Rech LotG in that one...the other 2 slots are not worth the effort. I would then put 4 reactive armors in Resist Physical damage and leave the Steadfast in with them. The set bonus is worth more from those 2 slots then it is having them in CJ. Also, the extra S/L Resist never hurts.

  8. I just posted an energy melee/regen brute build in the brute forum. It's expensive but S/L softcapped. A lot of it should translate.
  9. I played with this combo some, and to softcap S/L you are gimping some, but not much, I would like gloom to have more slots, but this will work just fine, see what you think...

  10. a full fury bar on a brute is equivalent to something like +100% damage...and you can stay somewhere around 85-95% in mobs, with the ATO fury proc, pretty stustained...so think of that as +90% damage +/- if you can keep fury up, you will do more damage than your average scrapper, but keeping it up is a bear to do outside of farms and hordes of enemies. My DM/INV brute can do it pretty easily...but he's invuln and loves to swim in enemies. My Kat/Dark brute however has somewhat more trouble keeping the fury bar full because he isn't well slotted yet and dies more quickly than my INV brute does...but once I get him slotted I think the death shrouds aura will help him get the bar full pretty well.
  11. Regen is great take rebirth destiny incarnate radial side for +regen and roll with it. My claws/regen is is going strong with lots of use. I use rebirth as my go to panic button then IH then MoG if it gets real hairy. Rebirth is like IH but down for about as long as it is up (2 mins up 2 mins down) and it has a heal up front in addition to +regen.

    Another thing too...with your build done properly...you can cap regen running both IH and Rebirth if you needed to...plus if you have DP permanent, you're regening tons of HP, my scrapper regens about 300 HP/sec if I am absolutely getting shredded and use all panic buttons (I consider DP a regular thing because I have it on auto and it would stack for about 15 secs if I didn't have capped HP already)

  13. Claws has ALWAYS had good ST DPS, back when this game first came out Claws/SR was THE AV killer if you wanted a Defensive set...Claws/Regen was another good option too.

    If you like the idea of rage but hate the crash...Take Dark Melee...with no apologies...seriously. Slot Soul Drain with 2 Rect Ret, and about 3-4 of say...Multistrike or Sciroccos and it becomes a VERY nice AoE that also boosts your damage...add in that you can turn Dark Consumption into an AoE that does about half as much damage AND gives you endurance...plus you get Shadow Maul...really...this set is great!

    Honestly I would put them in one of your regular attacks...I run MultiStrike in Death Shroud because it is good at End Redux and Damage...and that's what you want in an aura set, plus 6 slotted it boosts DEF There's lots of recharge in the Brute set, put it to good use...like Golden Dragonfly or Soaring Dragon

    If spines gets a buff, should claws get a buff since they are cousins? If we buff claws and spines should we buff broadsword? But broadsword and katana are twins, what about katana? But if we buffed those, we have to buff War Mace and Battle Axe...they'd be left out. Since we're buffing weapon sets, what about melee sets? Like Dark and Energy and Fiery melee...?

    Don't sweat it, spines is still good, and has a damage aura...nothing to get all huffed up about...and Spines actually has RANGED attacks...TW does not...I know I have a TW/EA brute coming up right now, and while the "reach" is better than many...claws and spines actually can go after flying critters, which is basically not at all possible through TW. So it has more AoE or does slightly more damage or has a different secondary effect...? Spines has been a good serviceable set for melee damage dealers for a long time...it's still fine as it is...not as popular as it once was...but that's just a FOTM thing anyway...look at any number of sets that were FOTM at some point and are not any more...they're all still good, they're just not the freshest, hottest, coolest, newest thing anymore...

  19. Playing Dark/Dark, and I have to say...it goes together REALLY well, you can just flat out debuff mobs to the floor...the damage is nice, I can't wait for the new Mids to get out so I can put together a solid build instead of trying to substitute in the current version to make things close.
  20. Back on topic, (nice thread hi-jack btw)

    My personal thoughts on this one, based on playing into the low 20's so far, is that ALL of the Darkness Control powers are useful to me at this point, haven't gotten to black hole, and I actually have used Fade situationally. Although I did skip Blackhole on another toon after playing it, so I likely will this time...(I just don't see a use for it...)...but I digress...

    I would say play through up to the point of your respec and take everything in the sets except maybe black hole...and see what YOU like...as it will be YOUR playstyle. I determined this to be the best course of action playing Warshades, as if you ask for advice on a 'shade, you will get advice based on how SOMEONE ELSE likes to play their Warshade...so that is typically my fashion of doing things. YMMV...but some people actually like powers that a consensus majority on the forums do not...(keep in mind we are about 1% of the players on this game)

    BTW, you WILL have endurance issues into the late 30's early 40's...there were times where I would turn off sprint and not run Death Shrouds just to save end for a while. I got conserve power as soon as I could, which helped, and then respec'ed out later to get what I really wanted, because at 50 you don't have the same troubles nearly as badly as you did before...

    Also when you look at DEF on my build make sure divine avalanche is on...I set it to 1 application, but with 2 you are easily over melee incarnate softcap and can stack it a few times should you want.

    I would also remove extra slots from CJ and put them in your armors to get the S/L bonus def you will get more mileage out of your defense that way and just slot CJ with a +rech that's what I normally do. At work now or I would post my build

  25. I would have to say Hulk is SS/INV Brute with Invincibilty x10 and with such insane recharge that Dull Pain can stack multiple times.
