    New Dance

Link's NSFW. Also can't really talk about other games on these forums.

As to the dancing thing, eh. We've got plenty of dances as is. Don't really need more. I'd rather they cover emotes that we don't have, try to fill some niches.
  2. That looks pretty damn epic, to be honest.
  3. Of all the things to get upset about.
  4. Happened to me, too. Except what I did was go into the missions tab, selected the mish, and set it as my active mission. That reset the marker and told me to go to the boat.
  5. Not a bug. Would be nice if you got a reward for it if you completed each of the other missions, but eh, no big. They give you two rewards for the final arc to compensate for it.
  6. I dunno how I felt about it. On the one hand, it is nice to get an actual set up to these iTrial arcs so we can know what we're dealing with before jumping into the action. But on the other hand, DA was supposed to be the answer to the solo/small team issue Incarnate content had, and giving out a mission that pretty much says "Hey, you can't finish the story until you run this iTrial with 20 other people!" really didn't have much of a place in this zone.

Maybe if a separate contact gave out this mission, and the contact only unlocked once you completed DA's arc, and warned you ahead of time that it's iTrial content, it'd go over better. That way, soloists can completely ignore the side mish instead of having Dream Doctor give out the mish and amp you up to take on Diabolique for nothing. Meanwhile, leaguers and folks that enjoy both paths can have their storyline intact.
  7. Probably for the best, anyway. Some peeps take these forums too srsly.
  8. Have you tried just giving them one attack power?
  9. Guess not. Honestly, I don't know of any groups that have that kind of theme, where they're only tech/natural. Most groups that tend to last have themes set around what kind of heroism/villainy you do, whether you're a gang of rogues, upstart golden age heroes, brooding vigilantes, etc.
  10. I felt it was nicely resolved, while leaving various other plot threads that didn't actually have to do with DA lingering for the next issue. Although I imagine most people might feel it's not very resolved when you defeat Mot once and for all, but Dark Astoria is still a nightmarish warzone.
  11. A lot of people complained about it being lackluster, or just another way for the devs to work the shiny new four legged rig into something. Honestly, that's how I feel. Something specific like a dog really doesn't have much of a place as the big pet for a set about darkness. Give us something more elemental and generic, like the fire imps, ice and rock creatures, or electric gremlins. Make a more bad *** version of fluffy, or those new haunts. Save the animals for Beast Mastery.

However, I wouldn't want them to remove the dog, as a lot of people also love it, and it makes sense for their characters. If we could just get an option to choose between the dog and something more formless I'd probably actually play Dark Control. But as it is, the dog is just a deal breaker for me, mainly 'cause the character I wanted it for wouldn't use his mastery over darkness to construct man's best friend.
  12. I've seen enough of those Japanese cartoons to know where this is going.
  13. Seems a little harsh to be bombarding this guy with "You're not Steelclaw!!!" posts when he was just trying to crack a joke, eh?

There was one time where the moon got bugged and was humongous. There was also a second moon.
  15. Are there still Rogue Arachnos in Warburg?
  16. Love the issue so far. Personal Stories are effing great, and I'm actually pretty pumped for what the future holds for CoH, so long as they keep up this caliber of writing and art design.

Especially love all the new maps. Yeah, they're same maps we've been getting for forever, but just redoing the textures like they do really makes them fresh and does a much greater job of making you actually feel like you are where you're supposed to be. For example, turning a typical office into an oriental dojo in Tibet. That was so great. Really hoping we can get these in the AE sometime soon.
  17. Not gonna lie, I was actually underwhelmed by Blue Steel. I was so pumped to fight him, duking it out with the legend. And then he pulls out a baton and starts smacking me with it. That left me going "Eh?"

I always though Blue Steel was Martial Arts/Shield. He seems like he kind of guy to throw punches and brawl with enemies, not use standard police weaponry, especially against a super villain. Martial Arts, or better yet Street Justice, would've suited him much better.
  18. Sounds like a bug to me, considering, like you pointed out, no other story arc-related badge works this way. Have you tried petitioning it or contacting a GM?

Mainly because it's incredibly disrespectful to any community within this game, no matter how small, to say "This update introduced these things, so it doesn't matter if the update killed what you loved."

The PvP community was small but strong, and PvP was what kept them playing this game. Base builders, marketeers, badge hunters, and mission architects are also other small but thriving communities within this game. I just don't understand how you can say any of them don't matter, and we can destroy any one of them if it means we get new stuff.
  20. Another one that bugged me was in Dark Astoria, when you first see Ice Mistral, Scirocco, and Mu'Vorkan, Mu'Vorkan's name is spelled "Mu'Vorkin".

I13 would like a word with you.

Also, really loving the content so far. I22 made the game quite a bit better.

You can street hunt (or team with someone who can get the missions), but it will take an awfully long time to get the 1,000,000 incarnate exp needed to unlock it. Get the Alpha slot unlocked before exploring DA and then everything is cool.

(BTW: we could not test this on VIP Beta since every 50 had the Alpha automatically unlocked by default.)

Otherwise, I concur with Agent White's analysis.
Mender Ramiel gives out his story arc that unlocks it for you. I imagine someone who's into soloing and storylines would transition from his intro to Incarnates to a storyline that deals with you wielding said power.
