And Gaelic Reign, I would think you'd have phrases like that in Irish, Scot, and Welsh available in macros!

That too. When you have more alts than hours in the day, you've nearly always got the option to drop.

Isn't that what 'drop mission' is for?

There's propaganda over the speakers? Hmmm, I really should play with the sound turned on once in awhile then...

You know, I think I'd pay $10 or $15 for an increase in Vault Storage capacity...

Not sure about that. IIRC the wedding band is awarded when you return to the contact the last time, so I don't think you can get the temp and then drop the flashback.
  9. I don't have a ton of input on Earth. Just started an E/E Dom a few weeks ago - it's a fun set but I'm nowhere near pushing the envelope on it yet.

I do, however, have a ton of experience with Ice Control. Your build looks fine, but looking at Arctic Air...

    Level 41: Arctic Air
    (A) Coercive Persuasion - Contagious Confusion: Level 50
    (42) Coercive Persuasion - Confused: Level 50
    (42) Coercive Persuasion - Confused/Endurance: Level 50
    (42) Coercive Persuasion - Accuracy/Confused/Recharge: Level 50
    (43) Coercive Persuasion - Accuracy/Recharge: Level 50
    (43) Endurance Reduction IO: Level 50
AA is an auto-hit power, so your Acc/* IOs are wasting part of your bonus here. Also, IME, it's not really worth slotting Confusion, because the duration is laughably short and the chance isn't great anyways. If you look at the post two above this one, that guy has the right idea. He slotted in two procs, along with the contagious confusion. Procs are a great choice because you get trigger chances every 10 seconds on any enemy in range, with no to hit check.

I'd spend the other three slots on EndRedux, because even with Stamina, this power is an End hog unless you slam it down like an Accord cruising Sunset Blvd.
  10. Servers appear to be up, but no patch notes yet that I can find...

There's quite a few in Port Oakes these days, more than I remember when I was a young villain.

I rather like having it there.
  13. I decided a while back I'm going to try and hit all the redside unlockable contacts. So far I've gotten all but Veluna Matata or Hakuna Lunata or whatever her name is. Anyway, the prereq for the Slot Machine is the Gangbuster badge. Tried hunting in a few of the usual Family spots and the bosses are extremely shy. Any clues for good hunting places?

Laf, definitely should do that! As nearly a 42 month veteran, I have 1 toon with more than 5 mil influence, and I think he's in the 17 mil neighborhood. Compared to lots of these folks, I'm living in a dumpster down by the river.

I use it when soloing with my Emp/Eng Defender. Obviously I have no problems with knockback in that combo - it's the only real mitigation he has. Definitely need Stamina tho, but it's fun to spin in circles and watch the bad guys fly away while you're blasting them. Dual builds helps - I'd get cursed at mightily for using it on a team.

You skip the animations, but I'm pretty sure the activation time remains the same.

Yeah, after I started looking into it, I realized that the last time I'd tried to update I'd had an 'issue', so apparently I wasn't as up to date as I thought.

Just finished loading the new build. All better now.
  19. No, this isn't whinging about when Dual Pistols is gonna be in Mids...

It's whinging about when Earth Assault for Dominators is gonna be in there.
  20. Just created 'Lil' Betty Browning' - she'll be dressed in a close approximation of a Brownie uniform. Now if I could get a 'Throw Thin Mints' temp power...

That's copyright in our lovely legal system, sadly. A friend of mine is an author, and we were all discussing 'fan fiction' on his fan site. He basically said "Personally fan fic doesn't bother me - it's kinda flattering and all, but I *cannot* see it or I have to act to have it shut down. So make sure it isn't where I'll see it."
  22. Meh, it's just easier and safer for them to whack you with the generic stick than to figure out if your costume really was infringing. They likely never even looked at the costume - someone /protest'ed your 'infringing' character name, and a GM said, "Yep, that's on the list. *whack*" and went on their merry way.

This would be one reason I use the costume save feature and 'backup' the ones I hold dear. Assuming there's nothing infringing about the costume, you could rename the character and just upload the costume from Icon.

A bit expensive for a new player tho - buying those 4 salvage pieces could cost a couple million influence/infamy if you're in a hurry. Of course, he won't be able to get them as drops until October...
