    Shield/StJ?

    Not a weapon set, but it certainly looks cool together provided the right shield is picked... which could sort of act as the weapon.

    My "wall" seems to be Level 20... and then again at 32. By that I mean that pretty much every character I make will get hung up at those points. At 20 is where the progression of gaining powers at a good clip starts to taper off. And therefore I am likely to Alt at that point and just have a ton of characters hanging between 17 and like 24.

    The second point is where my inertia runs out again after I get around to playing a 20 again. A lot of significant powers hit at 32, and so I lose focus since a majority of my progression is behind me. But, if I can power through that, I am usuallly golden, and the character will likely get to 50.

    To get the thread back on track:

    I sincerely hope that no incarnate powers involve a signature character's powers OR a transformation power. If it will be a signature power at all, I hope it is of a Create-Your-Own power style. And I just don't like the idea of homogenizing the appearance of all characters, even if for only a few minutes.

    Unfortunately, you can't fix the whole thread yourself. I think a Mod could change it though. Honestly it's a very small thing, so nothing to worry about... but I just happen to really notice little things like that.

    Also, if that is the biggest mistake you make as a non-native speaker... well, you are doing a stellar job! It is super hard to spell well in English, nothing really makes much sense. And a good deal of the rules contradict one another, unlike other languages I know.

    Sorry to derail a bit there. I now return you to this Speedster Thread, already in progress.

    It certainly can look silly. With the right glove choice, I think it can look pretty nifty, though. And in case you haven't checked recently, the SFX are working properly now.

    My favorite new character is a Rad/Time Corr named Causeway. Fun dude!

    I fully expect that proponents of this idea will get their wish in one form or another. I mean power sets keep getting churned out, don't they?

    What Bill said.

    The Devs regularly use and interact with us forumites, and some forumites ARE Devs. So you can bet they supplement their good ideas with some of ours too. Might I point to Street Justice and Dual Pistols as highly suggested sets that eventually got made.

    I really don't get these threads at all. I mean, they just reak of entitlement issues. It seems like you are saying "I don't like this stuff! Only give me what -I- want to keep -me- happy with the Market."

    Paragon Studios will release things as it pleases, ranting because you aren't happy and appeased every week is ridiculous.

    Bank your points for when there is stuff you want, why complain? I mean, power sets and new content is coming out faster and better than ever before and folks are always whining because they want X and all we have is Y. Some folks like Y. Too bad, so sad that you don't.

    I for one think they release cool costumes and power sets too close together for me to get everything I want with my stipend. But I shrug cuz they want to nudge me into buying points. I just have to adapt and be patient.

    Hint hint.

    Define "much of an issue." Getting a character to 50 is still a big deal to me, because it doesn't happen all that often and is the sign that I must really really like that character to play it all the way to 50. It still takes me months to get from Level 1 to 50. Probably 5 or more, on average.

    This seems like a silly definition to me... since on every character but my main, I stop shooting to advance once I have a power to T3.

    1. I have one character who is "fully incarnated" according to your definition. He has, I think, 11 or 12 T4 powers. He has most Destiny at T4, 2 Interface powers, 3 Alphas, 1 Judgement and Lore, and 2 Hybrids.

    2. Ummm... I think 5? Not entirely sure. Doubt I will go through and get them all Hybrid unless the iTrial releases slow down a lot, like pre-Magi speed. That way I can go through them at my leisure.

    3. Zero. It takes me months and months to get from Level 1 to 50+3... and I don't really ever intend to take a character beyond 50 unless I like it.

    4. Yes. Any 50 I am not totally in love with. So, that means at this moment a VEAT, a Kheld, a Defender... and prolly a few others. Unless I get really bored, I don't intend to place others on the iTreadmill.

    A quick note: ATOs are not IOs. IOs come from recipes and only become enhcancements after inventing them. ATOs are always enhancements, there are no recipes and can't be invented.

    Another note is that they are Attuned, as in they level with you and are never out-leveled. The border of the enhancement stands for Attuned, and not ATO, so don't get confused when you see the enhancements from the Summer Event... those are not ATOs.

    Ugh. DfBs are super super boring. I can only stand to do like 2 of them a week... at most.

    But, then, I have never cared about "fast" XP, just so long as the team isn't either: a) fighting stuff far too low so that nothing is gained from the mission or b) fighting stuff waay too high so that it takes us like 5-10 minutes per group of purples.

    I could never understand why folks want "fast XP" if the ride is boring and over before you know you arrived.

    So you mean forcing them to create a metric ton of new animations to force powers to be usable while on a Temp Travel power? Holy goodness would I like to see that time better spent. Making the purchasable travels NOT de-toggle would be a colossal waste of time, IMO.

    I am curious about a LOT of things with regard to Lore, but I think one thing I would really like is:

    Can I see an organizational diagram of the Malta Group? Can you only imagine how convoluted that might be? And who might be in it that we never suspected?

    It doesn't need to be though. There is already a notification about the metric on the page for the event itself. And the badge is awarded for completion of the event.

    I can't say I approve of folks RPing anything in public chat that's sexual... however, I couldn't help but notice that you kept mentioning the fact that it was two female characters, Ultimus. I can't help feeling that such a detail should be irrelevant. Would this thread still exist had they been two same-aged opposite gender characters?

    I mean c'mon, it's the 2000s!
